We were going to replace our old UPVC patio doors and conducted a search of various companies. We landed on Homeshield Scotland Limited due to the great reviews on Google and Trust pilot. Our assigned representative was Eddie Cormack a very nice and friendly gentlemen. There was no 'hard sell' that you hear of from other companies. We sat with coffee and biscuits and slowly and thoroughly went through all aspects of our needs. We were surprised that after discussion we found we could afford a whole house windows and patio doors replacement.. From that moment we had contact with Ryan at the main office and James, who came and carried out the house surveying. Also, Paul who set out the installation date.
We're highly delighted with the efficiency of the whole team.
We would highly recommend the company to family and friends.

Homeshield were on time, the window installers were polite and certainly new their job. Daniel explained how they would be doing the job and they duly started by laying down dust sheets the team were very proffesional and are a credit to Homeshield. A big thanks to Megan who checked with me before, during and after installation to see if we were happy so far. Ed Cormack the designer was a pleasure to meet and he gave us a great insight into who Homeshield were as a company also Paul Morrow who did the final measure was first class. The whole experience in dealing with Homeshield Scotland was brilliant and i would certainly recommend them.

Very professional & friendly salesman persuaded us to buy. However the chasing call/emails frustrated me till I had fully processed our expensive layout & costs. When date of installation set the scaffolding team didn’t lay sufficient panels over the garage & original job completion in one day was interrupted & may have gone into the next week. Managed the next day & communication by phone was excellent & overall a good experience.

Absolutely fantastic service from the guys (and ladies) at Homeshield Scotland Ltd from the initial consultation, through to the surveying and lastly the installation. Delighted with my new windows and door with the installation being carried out over 2 days (the installers worked like Trojans). If you’re looking for new windows and doors of the highest standard I would recommend Homeshield without hesitation.

First company that i have dealt with which requests money upfront which i found a little bit annoyance in case i would be ripped off however it was worry for nothing.

Observation frame around the glass is not sitting flush with external door panel (small gap) inside of door same window frames are flush no gap visible.

Being external shall this gap allow water to penetrate the internal door cavity.

Installation team arrived at 08.30 ready to start work. They introduced themselves to us right away - Jon, Paul and Lewis (a father and sons team). After carrying out a quick survey / check of the windows they had to replace they advised my wife and myself of what works they were carrying out and asked if we had any questions.
They started immediately, downloading their van and starting to take out the windows they had to replace. They worked in a very professional manner. They laid out dust sheets where required to protect flooring and furniture in the house. They removed any rubbish generated at they went along. Occasionally they came to us to double check some installation details with my wife and myself - such as the solid hard wood internal window sills.
Their workmanship was exemplary. They paid particular attention to the finer details of the installation such as the external silicon mastic sealant and both the external and internal window sills. They cleaned all windows after they were installed and left absolutely no rubbish either inside the house or outside the house.
On one occasion I requested a minor alteration to the silicon seals at one window - they listened to what I had requested and made the changes as requested without any fuss or ado.
On completion of the works they showed us how the window mechanisms worked and gave us a locking key for the lock on each openable window. They worked tirelessly up till 18.30 when they left. The hardly took any time off for breaks during the full time they were at our house. Jon by the way likes tea, Paul is coffee and Lewis prefers a cold soft drink.
My wife and I have nothing but praise for the installation team. They are a credit to their profession.

The windows are great.Good quality
Unfortunately the company was let down by the pushiness of the salesman (corrected by the manager and is why we stayed with them). The workmen did a good and efficient job but were let down by their failure to clean up properly - an attempt at hoovering was made but quite a lot of bits were left in garden. Glass from a shattered window was found underfoot for a few days and fingerprints were left over the new glass.

The whole experience from start to finish was good on all parts of the process, from the colleague going through the process and the product to the backroom staff ie surveyor, installation manager and then the installer guys at the end.

Kerry is very friendly and made me feel at ease. She explained the company products to me in a way that was easy to understand she was not pushy at all and gave me time to think. I was very happy with home shield and look forward to getting my windows fitted.
