Excellent customer service I was looked after by an agent named Celso on Saturday. With what seemed a bumpy start he turned it into a smooth ride. We visited the branch earlier this week an... See more

Property viewing with Haarts Dartford.
Had a property viewing with Haarts Dartford, the young girl Maddie Gilhooley was very professional and very friendly, I did not know the area but she made the appointment easy.

Ola was a lovely gentleman who caught me on my way to Westfield stratford. We had a very good conversation regarding estate management . His knowledge was very good and informative.

Have recently been dealing with Ewan Plank who was trying to help me find a rental property. Unfortunately I found through another agent but Ewan’s communication was excellent. He listened, kept in touch, was very friendly and personable whilst always being professional. Excellent Estate Agent, thanks Ewan!

I need help with a flat share and Belinda at Haarts in Clapham is reliably in contact and very helpful .
Great company
Great company, got the job done properly and with great customer service.
Avoid this estate agents
Avoid this estate agents. Other than the sales pitch to get my custom from a lady called Sarah who i would say is a very good salesperson, i feel i have been robbed £1000s of pounds from the worst estate agents ive come across. My property was vacant and i handed spare keys to the estate agent to do all viewings in December 2025. They did not do one viewing by always saying they had no one available and could i be there to do it. They havnt stepped foot in my apartment once. I sold my property in February 2026, and they didn't even sell my property as the person that bought mine was a friend of a viewer who private messaged me to see if she could come look. we arranged this between ourselves. The communication was poor to the point where again me and the buyer had to communicate for updates and to chase solicitors from both ends. Something what Haart should have done, especially given the amount of money they charge for their service. To make it worse, Hidden charges in solicitors fees to be paid to Haart making this total over 4000 pound and im still questioning now, what i paid them for???
My Partners house was also on the market with them and we have now withdrawn. The lack of knowledge, the lack of communication, the lack of motivation to want to sell your property.
Avoid this company at all costs.
Great customer service
I popped into the branch to book some viewings last week for a couple of properties we were interested in. We were greeted by a bubbly, friendly member of staff who was only too happy to help. We had the viewings yesterday evening, she took the time to show us around the home, pointing out things & letting us take our time. There was no rushing, and she was happy to answer any questions we had. We’ve now made an offer for one of the properties & hoping this will become our dream home. Amber has been the best in terms of communication, keeping us up to date & calling back when she said she would. A great effort & looking forward to buying the house soon.
Unacceptable treatment and poor…
Unacceptable treatment and poor communication from the local branch
I am writing this review to warn others about the incredibly poor standard of service and lack of care we have experienced with haart while living at this property.
The main issues we have faced include:
Lack of Communication: Emails and phone calls regarding major ongoing issues have been repeatedly ignored or left without a meaningful response.
Outstanding Maintenance/Property Issues: We have had to live with severe unresolved issues at the property [e.g., a major plumbing leak / electrical socket safety concerns / broken boundaries] that were reported to the agency, yet they have failed to action proper, lasting repairs.
Disregard for Tenant Well-being: The way we have been treated throughout this process has been entirely unprofessional and dismissive.
It shouldn't take leaving a 1-star review on a public forum to get a basic response from an estate agent. I strongly advise anyone looking to rent or manage a property through haart to look elsewhere.
I had a great experience working with…
I had a great experience working with Lois Sturges during my search for a rental property. From the very beginning, Lois was professional, friendly, and highly responsive. She took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and guided me through every step of the process with patience and expertise.
Lois made the entire renting process smooth, stress-free, and far easier than I expected
A BREATH OF FRESH AIR - LILY BARNES, COLCHESTER OFFICE
Having dealt with Haart estate agents years ago I was not impressed, but have recently been dealing with LILY BARNES from the Colchester office and cannot praise this young lady for her wonderful and attentive manner in assisting me in my search for a property. Has quite renewed my faith in this estate agency. Thank you
I had a fantastic experience with Clair…
I had a fantastic experience with Clair at Haart Guildford. From start to finish, she was professional, approachable, and incredibly helpful. Clair kept me informed throughout the process, was always quick to respond to any questions, and made what could have been a stressful experience feel straightforward and manageable.
Ask for Jasper!!!
Jasper was brilliant. After dealing with many agents during my search, he was definitely the most helpful. He understood my brief, kept in touch and I genuinely felt like he was working on my behalf to find me exactly what I wanted. I found that most other agents really couldn’t be bothered, aside from turning up to open the door and let you in, they knew very little about each property and although promising to get back with information, Jasper was the only one that consistently went out of his way to get back with answers. I really just wish I had found my chosen property with him!!
Avoid at all cost!
Dealing with this agent has been nothing but problematic from start to finish. (Although they seem determined to see this transaction fail)
Their service leaving more than one party of the chain distressed on multiple occasions.
Their inability to return calls is awful and when you do get to speak to someone the attitude is some of the worst I've ever experienced.
With Rolanda Politakas boasting nearly 30 years experience but telling me she's not looking to support the chain exchange and picking for an argument after I terminated the call, ringing back to show off to her colleagues in the background. I am baffled this company employs such a unhelpful and rude individual. Also boasting a level 2 mental health awareness, what a joke!
Avoid Haart at all cost.
DO NOT USE HAART IF YOU ARE LETTING
DO NOT USE HAART EVER, IF YOU ARE LETTING A PROPERTY IN BRISTOL.!!!!!!!! I have never met a more incompetent and useless team as the Bristol, Clifton team, they have no idea what they are doing, they seem unable to answers the simplest question and completely miss managed my house leaving to the clients staying 3 days extra, which I had to tell them about. They still owe me a months rent and the boy who was looking after my house, Maxim, seems unable to do the simplest tasks and is unable to answer more than one question at a time, these people are totally useless. AVOID AT ALL COST.

We are looking to buy a house in Witham, Haart agents are not helpful at all, never call back or reply to emails.
⭐ 1 Star
⭐ 1 Star – Avoid This Company
I strongly advise landlords to avoid this company for both property management and lettings services.
When you sign up, you are encouraged to pay for various management services, legal protection, and rent guarantee products. However, when you actually need their support, especially in cases involving tenant arrears, legal action, or possession proceedings, they appear to do everything possible to avoid taking action.
In my experience, they repeatedly requested additional documents and information that had never been requested before, creating unnecessary delays and obstacles rather than helping to resolve the issue. It felt as though they were looking for excuses not to proceed with the legal protection services that I had already paid for.
Customer service has been extremely disappointing. Calls are often unanswered, communication is poor, and staff appear inexperienced and insufficiently trained to deal with serious property management issues. As a landlord, you need a management company that protects your interests and acts promptly when problems arise. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.
My experience has been incredibly frustrating and stressful. I felt unsupported throughout the process and left to deal with problems that I was paying the company to manage on my behalf.
Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this company and would strongly suggest that landlords look elsewhere for property management, lettings, and legal protection services.
Anne-Marie has been incredibly helpful…
Anne-Marie has been incredibly helpful throughout my experience as a tenant. She is always approachable, professional, and willing to listen to any questions or concerns I may have. I genuinely feel that I am listened to and taken seriously whenever I speak with her, which has made a real difference.
She communicates clearly, follows up on matters promptly, and consistently goes above and beyond to provide support when needed. It is reassuring to know that there is someone reliable and understanding to turn to.
I would highly recommend Anne-Marie to anyone looking for a lettings agent who is caring, responsive, and committed to providing an excellent service. Thank you for all of your help and support.
Don't ever use them for anything
I rented a flat in Ashford through this agency, and it was handed over in an unacceptable condition. From the beginning of the tenancy, I reported numerous issues, including severe mould, leaks, rust, and other maintenance defects. Despite repeated emails and persistent follow-ups, my concerns were consistently ignored or dismissed.
One of the most serious issues was the property's water supply. The property was left without running water for almost three months. Rather than resolving the problem, the agency repeatedly claimed that it fell outside their remit, leaving me with no option but to pay for repairs to the water pump myself in order to restore the water supply.
The property also suffered from a significant mould problem. Given that my daughter has an existing medical condition, I repeatedly raised concerns about the potential health risks and requested assistance. Once again, little meaningful support was provided, and I was forced to address the issue at my own expense. Throughout the tenancy, the agency appeared far more proactive in reminding me when rent was due than in fulfilling its responsibilities regarding the condition of the property.
The lack of support became so severe that we ultimately felt compelled to leave the property due to genuine health and safety concerns. Every issue was documented and reported to the agency in writing before we vacated. Rather than addressing the condition of the property, the agency seemed primarily focused on enforcing contractual obligations and retaining us as tenants for as long as possible.
Following our departure, we were presented with a substantial bill for alleged damages and repairs. This was despite the fact that many of the issues cited had been reported from the outset of the tenancy and clearly pre-dated our occupation. We submitted extensive evidence through the Flatfair platform, including photographs from the official check-in inventory provided by the agency, along with photographs and correspondence sent throughout the tenancy documenting the issues.
What was particularly concerning was the response from Rosie Wallace, who stated: “There is no proof of the date in which these photos were taken of the property; please also compare the check-in and check-out reports for evidence.” This response suggests either a failure to properly review the evidence submitted or a fundamental misunderstanding of the documentation provided. The photographs in question were taken directly from the official check-in inventory and from emails previously sent to the agency reporting the issues. Had the evidence been reviewed thoroughly, this would have been immediately apparent.
Regarding Arandeep Dhinsa, I found him to be completely ineffective in providing any meaningful solutions to the issues raised. It appears that the responses and supporting evidence sent to him were either not properly reviewed or disregarded, as the attached documents were seemingly never opened or examined. Had these attachments been reviewed, the mistakes on your side would have been evident.
Furthermore, concerning the water issue mentioned in the first paragraph, this matter was raised directly with Arandeep Dhinsa. Despite being made aware of the problem, no adequate support or action was provided to resolve it. As a result, the issue remained unresolved for four months, causing unnecessary inconvenience and demonstrating a serious lack of responsiveness and accountability.
Having rented properties across London and the South East for many years, this has been, without question, the worst experience I have encountered with a letting agency. The level of incompetence, lack of accountability, poor communication, and disregard for legitimate tenant concerns was extraordinary. The unnecessary stress, time, and financial burden caused by the agency's conduct is something no tenant should have to endure.
Based on my experience, I would strongly advise anyone considering renting through this agency to proceed with extreme caution. Ensure that every issue is documented from the very beginning of the tenancy, as you may find yourself having to defend against claims relating to problems that existed long before you moved into the property. In my experience, both the lettings team and management were unhelpful, unsupportive, and unwilling to take responsibility when serious issues were raised.
Failed to remove from Advertising Sites
There months with Haart, zero viewings. Contract ended 26 May 2026 but on 9 June 2026 with 5 emails and telephone calls to both Plymouth and Liskeard branches Haart are still advertising it on Rightmove!!! Shambles.
Expect nothing outstanding
As estate agents go, this one doesn’t disappoint. The majority of buyers and renters will no doubt share this view.
My partner and I experienced all the problems that like minded people share - lack of understanding, empathy, communication, commitment, and more importantly trust.
Needless to say, without boring you all with the finite details, we eventually pulled out at a cost to our purses and our sanity.
