After making the purchase online, I immediately received a receipt indicating our purchase was $210.34. I looked on my bank statement, and it shows Digikey charged $230.67 to our debit card. The receipt does not reflect the correct sales tax, and it left off Tariff Charge completely. I was told by accounting they have no control over what we get charge; it's all done by computer. I told them, humans work on computers, they need to go back and fix the issues. The accounting department told me that if I can always send the product back. I told them that wasn't the point. They didn't provide the correct tax and was not transparent on the taxes and the tariff charge.

Be careful with buying from Digikey if you are based in EU. I ordered some products through digikey.de, but to my surprise they were shipped from the US. The import tax + UPS fee for handing them out, resulted in me just asking UPS to throw the items in the thrash. That being said the webshop works well and they ship the items fast :)

Found my products, but their support is hopeless.

Talked to a girl on the phone who barely understood what I said, didn't bother to try and help with locating what had happend to my package and just kept repeating her answer...

Fast and excellent

I have ordered from Digikey on multiple ocassions.

My orders are always shipped same day, and in my possession within 2 days.

Never have they failed, once i needed their service due to failure from shipping company. Digikey sent a new item immediately.

I was shopping on digikey.dk so I did not expect that the goods were actually sent from US and I had to pay import tax upon delivery. That was NOT clear on the homepage. I called Digikey to cancel the order but they refused since the package was already sent.
In the end I had to drive to UPS Glostrup to pay and recieve parcel.
I will refrain from shopping at digikey in the future to avoid this hassle.

Ordered more than ten times, delivered within three or sometimes four business days to my front door in Germany, always complete and in perfect state!

The packaging and designation of the delivered goods from Digi-Key is always very good and professional. In this perfection I'd never get it from other distributors!

Mostly I found everything I needed, thus I didn't take only a bit cheaper but poorer China goods with very long delivery delays on eba.. or elsewhere...
