I was seen very quickly as soon as I arrived. The receptionist was friendly, polite, checked me for the appointment, she printed out and gave me a form for X-Ray. The X-Ray waiting time was for 10... See more

On-time appointments
On-time appointments, very professional, friendly and experienced medical personnel.
Phone them & it’s three weeks to speak with someone then more time to get actual help
Phone them up and you can have a virtual appointment over the phone in three weeks. Then more time before you can get some help. ITS A JOKE.
When you need help you need to at least speak with some on the day.
This is not service. NHS if your going to farm your work out you need to place the contract with someone better than your usual service not some company as slow as you are?

I didn’t receive particularly ‘good service’.
I didn’t feel that the consultant understood my symptoms.
I got the impression he was making assumptions about what he thought my problems are. Not clinically driven.
The invoicing was a fiasco.
Pay the consultant for some elements and then circle health for others. Without clarity.
I would have appreciated more feedback post MRI.

Staff were amazing, caring and thoughtful. Took good care of me throughout my procedure.
Unacceptable waiting time…
Terrible waiting time tonight at Albyn Hospital Aberdeen. Appointment at 5pm but no mammogram until 7.30pm. When faced with a possible cancer diagnosis and a hefty bill this is in acceptable. Mammogram machine was not accessible as they were using the room for storage. Disgraceful. Not the staff/consultants fault. Poorly managed hosiptal by Circle Health. Pity we do not have an alternative private hospital in Aberdeen. Maybe that’s why standards are bad.

My clinical experience at the Priory Hospital was exceptional; the consultant was exemplary, and the frontline staff consistently demonstrated professionalism, politeness, and dedication. However, the administrative and billing systems fell severely short of these clinical standards. After self-paying upon receipt of my initial invoice, I was repeatedly sent duplicate payment demands. Despite bringing this to the management's attention, I received no formal apology; instead, I was offered a convoluted and evasive explanation. For vulnerable or recovering patients, such administrative negligence and duplicate billing practices can easily induce unnecessary anxiety and lead to accidental double-payments. Because of this profound disconnect between clinical excellence and administrative integrity, I have decided to entrust my future care to Nuffield Health.
CircleHealth replied offering to look into this: a standard reply failing to comprehend the nature of their failure. It had already been looked into: I was given a lame, hoodwinking excuse without apology. The correct response would have been to demonstrate that this is not standard practice & that workflow has been changed to be sure it would not happen again. I will never use their services again.

Left feeling confused
I attended the hospital to see a consultant I had personally researched and sought out specifically relating to my health issue believing I would be given a fair assessment of the presenting symptoms, an explanation if anything could be done, what tests might be recommended and possible solutions or potential diagnosis. Instead I felt my physical symptoms were mostly reduced to psychological issues which felt incredibly minimising. I was left in tears after the appointment due to the confusion of being rushed out the consultation with a prescription and tests but no explanation what for, how to take or when to start the medication regime and without any understanding of how it may help or what to expect starting a new drug. Had it not been for the kind and caring staff on reception I would have gone home feeling defeated, confused and upset but I do want to acknowledge how professionally and compassionately the two ladies on reception dealt with me getting upset and helped me feel seen and maintain my dignity in front of a waiting room full of people. I am still upset and have had no success getting answers from the secretary soon to be 6 days later so I still have not been able to start my medication and still wait for answers.
