Have Bupa dental insurance through my work. Pays quickly, easy to make claims and well worth the cost.

Had to get surgery to remove an abcess last year and also removed 11theeth all done on NHS. Then living Orkney and And UK dentist struggled get seen. So went got all work done which was Needed nothing cosmetic. Which cost me a fair bit. Yet then trying to claim through Bupa was just an absolute night mare! Sent everything possible in Xrays dental plan everything and still wanted more each time then separate letters and just something else each time I sent it in! Never got anything back complete waste of time having the full Bupa 5 cover as never covered anything!

Really straightforward, no complicated forms. Exactly what you want from dental insurance. Thank you

Really fast and efficient

I was unable to get any support for a cold sore / lesion I’ve had for more than 6 months. So I’ve written to a local dermatologist who will offer me a consultation, take samples if necessary and gain histology reports. This is all that I expected BUPA to provide but was told that this wasn’t covered. I bet if I said it was affecting my mental health for having an unsightly lesion on my face for the past 6 months then I wonder if I’d been treated differently. As it is, I’m paying for it privately outside of BUPA.

I requested a written report from the GP I spoke with through Bupa's telephonic assistance service. Despite following up on three separate occasions, I have still not received any update regarding my request.

When I contacted customer service on a Sunday, I was informed that Member Services handles these types of requests. However, there appears to be a lack of communication and follow-through, which has left me extremely dissatisfied with the level of service provided.

It is very frustrating to repeatedly call and chase a relatively simple request without receiving any meaningful update or resolution. I would appreciate greater accountability, clearer communication, and a more efficient process for handling member requests in the future.

The doctor was very reassuring and practical.
I think more than anything it is the actual fact that I was seen so quickly and I am now under treatment.
The staff are very polite and helpful and all in all it was a great experience
