Waited 15minutes for a CV review, Google Meeting with no one showing up to the meeting, and no email to reschedule or to apologize for the no-show. If they can't even attend a meeting, how do they want to conduct business, and do you actually want to trust them with your resume?

However, you did actually book your Google Meet yourself – and you booked it for tomorrow, not for today.

It was an emergency…
My experience was an emergency application which I was a little afraid to ask of, desperation- no time to complete myself or headspace- made me do it. A bit pricey, but...
Came back pretty quickly and submitted on time. Used CV Centre many years ago- a true gain, my inbox and mobile never stopped until I accepted a post, so trusted quality and service. What I received was suitable to submit. Only wished there was a 'January sale', but don't be put off, my request was at Defcon 4 at the time and only wished I was not so busy a few weeks prior to request CV Centre service for another job I really liked, with a short closing date. Was happy with the personal statement.

Poor quality and not delivered on time
Work completion too about 10 days or more, and the quality of work is not up to a satisfactory level. I end up spending hours trying to rewrite, although I spent 30 minutes discussing and paying an additional consultation fee. Not a great experience or value for money.

I note already that your order has not yet been completed and, when you received the most recent draft of your CV, you did tell your writer, "Thank you again for the excellent progress. I look forward to reviewing the next iteration."
I also note that you had your initial 30-minute Google Meet consultation with your writer on Tuesday December 9th and your writer delivered your first draft (which you described as "a strong starting point") on Saturday December 13th, four days later. For the production of a first draft, we do work to a 3-day turnaround average as standard but, obviously, this means some orders take a little less time and some take a little more. For someone with 20+ years of experience it tends to take a little longer than for, say, a recent graduate. (And for clients with specific deadlines, we do offer express services, and these options are highlighted during the 'checkout' process.)
I've had a look at your latest draft myself and would personally class it as excellent work - certainly a vast improvement on your original CV. (Your writer is one of our very best.)

Near retirement but still have a lot of offer
I am retiring and want to use my existing experience in a new, related role. The service I received was excellent and highly efficient. Disappointing Decline in Quality Over Time
Here’s the sharper short version with that point included:
**I used CV Center three times over 10 years. While the first time was good, the service has not developed since — my recent experiences were disappointing. Drafts felt templated, ignored my comments, and lacked native-level language, while AI tools can now do a better job. If their work does not add real value, then what is the use of such a service?**

I note that when you received the first draft of your updated CV you did tell your writer, "It reflects my experience very well."
And I must caution - as I do so often to people at the moment - that using AI to write a CV is a very, very bad idea. You need to bear in mind that more and more recruiters are using AI-based software to filter out CVs where use of AI is detected. There are many reasons recruiters don’t like AI-generated documents. As one Financial Times headline put it, “Jobhunters flood recruiters with AI-generated CVs”. Using AI to write a CV really is becoming a riskier and risker strategy. CVs really must be human-written.
