We have been having on-going issues…
We have been having on-going issues with our Bell3000 modem/wireless hub rebooting more and more often by the week, lately up to three times a day. Today I was trying to connect my work laptop at home so I had it ready while I am on call…before I could connect to the wireless it happened again….i worked in IT starting with desktop support working my way up to running server teams and providing network support so I know a thing or two….firstly, very time my wife has had to call about issues they had never once told her our account number like it is a national secret when my wife, every time has had to answer several questions to prove she is the primary on the account…..that is disrespectful to your clients bell…you should be ashamed….secondly….after them totally frustrating my wife who is difficult to upset I had to step in…I identified myself, also
Answering 5 questions to verify who I was.i also was up front Identifying my background and calming the situation down…I pointed out that from my background that it appeared to be internal in the unit as the modem side did not appear to be seeing or communicating with the network side and explained why….the tech understood and agreed….then told me he was going to reboot the unit again…said it would take 15 minutes or so….no problem….i stayed on the line, told him step by step what I was seeing….i had also just before he did this confirmed both my wife’s and my contact numbers….he said if we got disconnected he would call back….by this time we had been on the phone for well over 1 hour and 39 minutes…..I realizes after another 15 minutes or so he had disappeared, no idea how but have had no word back since….no asking if the problem was fixed, no I will have to call you back sir……nothing….I am not in the least bit impressed when we are still without working bell Fibe internet, TV, phone and wifi. The person I was dealing was good and professional until he pulled that stunt. I was taught when providing support to a client you stick it out until you come to resolution, that is the difference between great tech support and some guy just reading from a script or doing as he is told….and only caring about his paycheque and not taking pride in his work. Making a positive import or difference….to this tech I say you should be ashamed, if you had worked for me and that as how one of my clients was treated I would have had you fired….Your clients deserve your best efforts…treat your customers they way you would want to be treated….I had several times where I had to stay late, sometimes several hours to resolve tech support issues and even though it impacted my personal life it was about looking after the customer first, that is why we got into tech support in the first place……none of this, my shift is over, disconnect and run and leaving the client hanging without saying a word….that is a punk move….maybe you need to find a new career
Hard to believe
Hard to believe! read on. My Internet line got cut by branches that fell during a storm on Wednesday. On Thursday, I called and a tech showed up to say that he was at the end of his shift and couldn't do anything but would speak with his manager. After an hour I called again to explain that I needed the line reconnected. I was told that I would get a call back. No call back. I called on Friday morning and was told that the ticket was cleared. Nothing further planned. I explained, and got another ticket number from the screening center and was told it would be fixed this morning, Saturday, between 8 and noon. I called the screening center at 1130 and was told that a tech had been here and the ticket is cleared. I explained that the cut line has not been reconnected. She told me that the technician cut the wire at the pole on the street and left. I asked why. She said she will look into it and call back. I await her call...............................to her credit, she did call 2 hours later to tell me that the matter was closed from "their end" and that I should call 310bell. I did. Only to find out that a new tech visit is scheduled between 8am and 5pm Tuesday Sept 8. 3 days later. What incompetence!!
Their website is so hard to navigate
Their website is so hard to navigate. All I wanted is to add a travel pack. Wasted 20 minutes. Tried texting to one of their numbers as per the instruction. Nothing worked. No search button to look to add travelpack. Horrible
Extremely Disappointing Experience with Bell
I spent more than six months trying to resolve a Bell Mobility billing issue for services I never activated, never used, and never intended to keep.
A Bell salesperson came to my door and convinced me to sign up, assuring me that I could cancel before activation. After discussing the offer with my family and negotiating a better deal with Rogers, I decided not to switch. I clearly told the salesperson and Bell that I was cancelling.
Unfortunately, only part of the order was cancelled. Months later, Bell started billing me for Mobility services I never used. Despite numerous calls, hours on the phone, and repeated explanations, Bell refused to properly resolve the issue. I was even told the bill would be cancelled, only to receive confirmation that it had merely been reduced by $45.
Then the account was sent to collections. Concerned about the impact on my credit, I ultimately paid the bill—even though I strongly disputed the charges.
What should have been a simple cancellation turned into months of frustration, wasted time, and unnecessary stress.
I have completely lost confidence in Bell. After this experience, I will NEVER deal with Bell again.
My advice: if you sign up with Bell, make absolutely sure you get written confirmation that every service has been cancelled.
Worst ever
Worst ever, don’t do it! Service is horrible and pricing is sky high. Rogers is also horrible. Go with smaller suppliers and don’t bother bundling all your services, you don’t get much even if you spend $700-1000/month.
Frustrated and unappreciated
Dealing with Bell's customer service has become painful!! After 45 minutes on the phone and being transferred four times to different departments, nothing was accomplished.
Also, my husband passed away 2yrs ago and they still had him on the account after being told to remove him. So far I have had three customer reps apologize and say that he will be removed from the account. As a loyal customer, I don't feel appreciated or that they care about my business.
I will be looking elsewhere.
Just don’t trust bell don’t even try…
Just don’t trust bell don’t even try their promo, you won’t get out that easily. Its frustrating, if I can turn back the time, I will not even try this.
This company is out of control
This company is out of control. We made the mistake of leaving our provide to go with Bell Canada. Within hours of the install we canceled Bell after the damage they did to the brick on our house. All they do is lie about about when you’re supposed to receive a phone call back. You call every three or four days and it’s the same thing an hour plus on the phone and you get nowhere. They hire the most inconsiderate, horrible people they could care less about what’s been done to your house? If you’re looking for lots of stress in your life, Bell Canada is the company to use as a provider.
Excellent srvice
Was at Bell In NiagaraFalls on McLeod rd .Charlotte is one of the best i have ever had to deal with ever pleasant and knowledgeable person.Have dealt with her numerous times on internet, cell issues she goes out of her way to please and solve issues
I am fuming
Genuinely the worst providers of all time, I am legit doing my driving course with this crappy wifi and got set back 6 slides back and those took a precious 30 minutes. Not only that but you guys have such a bad in and out, let me go into depth, you guys will provide us with the fastest service known to man kind for three days than right afterwards start to slow it down for NO REASON, until we threaten to switch to another provider than you guy put two and two together and realize your customer actually wants the service in its entirety not some half bake garbage
DO NOT CONTINUE WITH BELL!!!!!
DO NOT CONTINUE WITH BELL!!!!!
I have been with Bell for 6 years, and although I haven’t always had the best experiences with them, I continued to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, after this most recent issue, I am completely done.
I have now been without Wi-Fi for an entire week — 7 DAYS with absolutely no service. As someone who works from home, having reliable internet is extremely important. Because Bell has left me without Wi-Fi for 7 days, I have had to use my mobile data to hotspot my work equipment just so I could continue working.
When I contacted Bell about the issue, I was told that “something is being worked on in your area.” Okay… but for SEVEN DAYS?! There was no warning, no email, no notification, and absolutely no communication letting customers know what was happening or how long the outage would last.
What makes this even more frustrating is that every time I have contacted Bell about my Wi-Fi going out, I am told the exact same thing: “Something is being worked on in your area.”
I live downtown in a very populated community, yet I have not seen a single Bell worker or any indication that this issue is actually being addressed.
When I called to explain that I had been without Wi-Fi for 7 days and had been forced to use my mobile data for work, I was told that Bell could not add any additional data to my cellphone AND would not provide me with a refund or credit for the internet service I have been paying for but have not received.
To make matters worse, I was passed around to EIGHT different people while trying to reach the billing department. After all of that, the last person I spoke to — who wasn’t even from the billing department — told me there was nothing they could do and that I would simply have to “play the waiting game” until my Wi-Fi was restored.
This is completely unacceptable.
I am paying for a service that I have not received for an entire week, have had to use my own mobile data to compensate for Bell’s outage, and have received virtually no communication or meaningful support.
Bell Canada, this is absolutely pitiful customer service. After 6 years, you have officially lost a customer.
I haven’t wrote a bell experience in a…
I haven’t wrote a bell experience in a while. Just today I woke up in my 10 million dollar house trying to connect to bell internet for 3 hours before I even entered google BELL IS HORRIBLE. Do not buy if you live in a house do not buy if you out JUST GET SOMETHING BETTER THAN THIS GARBAGE
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. No matter who you talk to, there is no accountablility. They know once you are off the phone with them, and if issues still exist, you will not have to deal with them directly again. They hide behind this fact. So even if you have the existing issue, everytime you call them you have to start from scratch, explaining your whole experience over again.
I cannot dial out without the phone…
I cannot dial out without the phone beeping like it’s busy, it has taken me anywhere from 2-12 tries on any number I call out, every single time. I live in a major city and will often only have one to two bars while everyone else around me has more bars and can send messages and photos without any issue. I’ve complained several times and just passed the 30 day cut off. Now I have a useless line for two years or I pay $950 to cancel the phone. I loathe Bell and will never go back to them. I can’t believe they are still in business and that Costco still sells their services.
VERY POOR CUSTOMER / TECHNICAL SERVICES
I have a VERY POOR 5G connection where I stay (basement). And sometimes, even when I’m on the ground level.
I have been complaining this to Bell since I started my account with them just this May (2026).
They create a ticket number for me and their technical department calls me outside the time frame I requested (7pm-10pm EST).
I don’t know how else to explain to them to call only from 7pm-10pm EST as I do not have access to my cellphone due to my work at a daycare.
This is so frustrating. I’m so regretful that I switch to them from Rogers.
Bell has an incompetent customer / technical services.
Useless service
Useless service. I would give 0 star if possible. People who dont even know what they are doing, 0 professionalism. No help at all. Line cut in the middle of the conversation probably intentionally.
Trapped in an Unauthorized 3-Year…
Trapped in an Unauthorized 3-Year "Auto-Renewal"
Beware of Bell’s contract traps. They locked us into an automatic 3-year extension through a single opt-out email from November (never received). When asked for proof of my signature or consent, customer support admitted they don’t have it; they just claim it’s "automatic." Forcing a 3-year term without affirmative authorization is unacceptable. Do not trust their contract practices. DO NOT TRUST BELL! CCTS complaint filed.
Roaming Charges for Not Leaving Canada
Bell charged me for four days of roaming when we never left Canada. We were vacationing in Turtle Mountain Park, close to the border, but still within Canada. Despite calling their customer service, there was no movement by the company to reverse the charges, so I have moved to Rogers. Bell, I hope the additional $50 you charged for the ridiculous roaming fees was worth it to lose a long-time customer.

Resolution Team…
I have to say that personally, this was and is the best interaction I’ve ever had with someone and someone from any phone company that I’ve dealt with in the past 20 years of using cellphones and dealing with cellphone companies.
When i asked for a manager the guy said, he wont do anything different… well that person was very wrong as Luis listened, understood my problem which was very unique as he as well said, wow this is a pretty unique situation you are in and ive never heard one like this. (My life in a nutshell and actually everyday) so he looked into solutions for myself as the card i bought was not able to be applied to my account and was non refundable, so with a-lot of research and back and forth, he did it!
Luis is one extreme man and Bell and Virgin should give him the star of valour and extreme manhood as he is the man!
Bell and Virgin has the employee of the year and decennial master. Thank you Luis for your great work and understanding. I hope you become a trainer of all employees and they all can be like you one day, I am very pleased and impressed!
