I bought a combo keyboard and touch pad…
I bought a combo keyboard and touch pad for my iPad. It arrived in a day but there was other issues with it than stated on the site. I contacted BVA, send pictures to show the problem and after 1 day I got a response that I can just return them. They also provided a return shipping. This was my first purchase. I will update my review to see how my second purchase goes.
I would also like to point out that they mentioned on the website that since they are merging with Troostwijk, they can not response to phone calls but you can send them an email. Email can be found on the FAQ page, under 'How can I submit a complaint'. I have no idea why people are saying they don't answer to calls or the email can not be found.
Excellent customer experience
Excellent customer experience. I bought a returned espresso machine with as stated minor scratches and stains. The product arrived in actually near perfect condition as If purchased new, and better than they auctioned it as. Works perfectly and arrived very fast. VERY HAPPY!
Fraudulent seller - worst product
First and last time. Going to file for a fraud complaint with the EU next week. I won the auction of a motorhome. I asked the seller for two things 1) can the motorhome drive more then two people? Seller replied, yes, no problem. 2) asked the Seller for the COC. Seller said ok, and send me a paper. I picked up the vehicle and drove to Portugal. When I arrived I tried to legalize it, wasnt possible, because the COC the seller Gave me was not a real COC(!). Also, the motorhome could not take more then 2 people(!). After I got to Portugal, the seller wanted at least 500€ for the COC, that he assured to me he had send me. And since it cannot drive with more then two people as the seller assured, I cant use it as it was for having some drives with wife and 2 kids.
Since I have written proofs will move a legal complaint this week.
I was literaly defrauded, very very frustranted.
(In terms of the motorhome, the motorhome structure was completely wrotten, the panels corroded, completely bad, but ok, I knew the risk, was too optimist, and got really INTO a very bad deal. After this, I never did or will ever do business with an Auction house again, especially BVA. Now I know One thing, its like a casino, the house always win.)
Received wrong item but BVA couldn’t care less
I purchased a Japanese sword but received something quite different from the advertised item.
I sent several emails but no reaction except for a first useless standard reply.
How can you be so popular yet have such a poor customer service?

Bought a car from BVA auctions
Bought a car from BVA auctions, the car was defective and needed a gearbox replacement. This was not mentioned in the auction information and couldn't be verified on the viewing day. After a month of constant calling and emailing. The seller eventually gave a 10% discount ,which went into the repairs. The stress, money and time caused was not worth it. I've generally had good experiences with BVA but this was a terrible experience. Don't ever buy a car through BVA and rather go to a dealership. I have learnt my lesson the hard way.
Horrible and stressful non-service/STAY AWAY
Horrible and stressful non-service. I finally lost close to 3000 euros on a purchase of a Porsche which turns out to break down after 10 minutes driving. Also the paperwork was not in order (they claim EU documentation whilst its not true).. I resold with loss finally after 3 months of pure stress. All they do here is stall on responses, give standard BS answers and deflect any responsibility. So you are on your own. Don't even bother to ask for Lot Nr like other feedbacks, cause I know perfectly you don't care or will resolve. NEVER AGAIN.. do everyone a favor people.. boycott these scammers living like kings on regular peoples hard earned money. Purchase directly with proper people/companies that do care.
Missing reply from customer service
Hello,
I usually appreciate the website and the service given that I have been a customer for many years.
Unfortunately, after winning a bid for a flat screen, I could not pick it up because it was too complicated to dismount it from a cupcoard. The staff at the picking location advised that I can request a refund and I sent several emails to the customer service without any reply so far. Can you please urgently advise as this is now pending for two weeks ?
Completely ignored by customer service…
Completely ignored by customer service after receiving a damaged product. I won 4 different lots containing exact same model transformer. A 3 kilogram chunk of metal. 2 of them actually got delivered. One broken. The way bva's partner packaged transformers is appalling. They put transformer's original box, which was barely holding together (being a returned product), into a bigger box with no filler material. Transformer was tumbling around and had only two layers of cardboard to protect it from falling damage. 3 kilos of metal and two layers of cardboard. Once it arrived, already from outside of the box you could see cuts and openings. One of the transformer corners was heavily bent, laminations fused together and with pieces of cardboard. Obviously hit a concrete flooring on the way. I could even identify the exact spot on the outside of the box where the corner was protruding. Plastic that isolates windings from the core was broken off making it a high voltage hazard. I wrote two complaints to bva. Been ignored for two weeks now. Other 2 out of 4 transformers never arrived. One, permanently stuck at a carrier's distribution warehouse, the other one, after calling the carrier, I was told it was delivered at a completely different address, not even my street. I actually took time and went there. People living at that address told me they never had a visit from the carrier. Called the carrier again to be told this time that my package was actually delayed and then delivered to my postbox?! A 3 kilo transformer delivered inside of my mailbox. This is the way carriers deal with packages they smash open during delivery. They just lose them. Pretend they don't know what happened to them. It's a horrifying practice that none of the carriers is innocent of. Luckily bva refunded me on these. Funny thing is, while I was waiting for them to respond on my broken item complaint, I contacted them to tell them the carrier lost a package and they managed to respond and refund me whilst being super busy and not have time to respond on the item I received broken. I guess they don't have time for me because they're busy dealing with... me. Now it's obvious that bva's partner can't properly package some items that have their original packaging damaged. And I have to conclude that bva expects you to just accept this. They will not respond on items you did receive, no matter the state. If it gets damaged during shipping it's your problem. And the partner will keep poorly packaging them and the carrier will keep losing them. Since it's such a heavy item the return label would cost me half of what I paid for the winning bid. Not even worth risking the customer support in the case they decide to blame me for returning the damaged product. My advice if you bid on returned lots: Most, if not all of the items will have damaged original packaging. When you bid you take the risk of receiving an item that could never have survived the shipping. And then your only option is to pay for the return shipping in hopes to get some of your money back.
Update since writing this review:
It's been two weeks since BVA representative responded to my review. As they said, couple of days after their response here, I actually did get my original case answered. I was told I would get a refund and that I should get the damaged transformer disposed of. Now it's been two weeks since their promise of a refund and guess what, no refund happened. They never issued a refund invoice nor made attempts to make the actual refund. Again, I will claim here for people who care: BVA expects you to carry the costs of their shipping mistakes. The fact that they respond at all, as a damage control to these reviews doesn't change anything. Away from the public eye they still treat you poorly. Now I'll probably receive another misleading reassurance from the representative here about how terribly busy they are. And that's it, the case is closed. Think carefully before bidding on returned lots. You might get stuck with a product you didn't bid on.

Scam, Fraud
Scam! Fraud!
We bought a car with failure on engine and electric system. More expensive to fix than the car itself.

You are dealing with a company that…
You are dealing with a company that will use some text to mislead you and hide the truth just to make money.
To keep it short: I bought an Electric bike"Kavel 65607-658" with many pictures provided and a description that they haven’t tested the battery….
In a magical way, the only part that they didn’t provide a picture of is the damage to the battery, yet there are pictures even from the grass on the wheels.
Now because the description says we didn’t test the battery, It gave them the excuse to say that we are not obligated to provide you a picture or note or hint from Physical Visual damage that you can see from 5 meters away.
In short: Honesty is not the practice but misleading and hiding.
What you buy online is a big Gamble as provided Info is MISLEADING on purpose.
-----------------------------
And as you see from the answer below my case becomes much clear, A company that will use words to dodge responsibility, Put a picture of self-inflicted damage to the on/off key and DC input on the battery, and perform a dangerous and unprofessional repair on something that can explode during charge cycle would not have any effect on my decision to buy the unit!!!!
and they are sorry about this or that but I have to bear the cost cause a dishonest company has found a trick to dodge responsibility.
I don't feel misled, I am MISLED.

SCAM! DO Not Go HERE!
I bought a couch I never received. It was not at the action house, they say they will reply within 5 days, I have waited well over 7! I have lost money for delivery and for the winning lot, I have asked for a refund and no one replies. I am starting a procedure with the police Department, as no one of BVA is even replying, there is no contact form! Avoid this place at all costs!

BVA Auctions is real
BVA Auctions is as real as possible and products are shipped in time. I have already few 'kavels' (books, plants, small electronic devices) won and received in order at home. Delivery timing is also short. So I do recommend.
