From contacting to having my EV charger installed was a very smooth process
Fraser came out for installation and he was great and made sure it was all connected up with wi fi before he left and was very helpful explaining the process to me , he made sure I was online and all set up before he left

Definitely recommend 10/10 service received

My father gave access to the workmen and said they were pleasant and tidied up. However I was disappointed to see on my return home that the cable was not as close to the ground as requested and the cable has been taken across our broadband box so I’m not sure how we will access that if we need to in the future. Feels a bit lazy in terms of workmanship to be honest.

Extremely disappointing experience with Bumblebee.

Bumblebee were the designated installer for a Hypervolt EV charger I purchased. After waiting five weeks for installation, the engineer arrived today only to discover that essential hardware had not been delivered.

Bumblebee say they dispatched it, but DPD apparently never attempted delivery. More concerningly, Bumblebee have no effective system for tracking dispatched orders and could not provide me with tracking information. The result is that the hardware is now lost somewhere in the delivery network.

What has been most disappointing is Bumblebee’s complete lack of ownership. Despite the problem being entirely outside my control, there has been little urgency, empathy or meaningful effort to resolve it. Communication has been frustrating and nobody I have dealt with appears empowered to take responsibility and fix the situation.

I am now looking at around eight weeks from purchase before installation, assuming the next appointment actually goes ahead.

I would strongly recommend considering alternative installers. Based on my experience, Bumblebee’s customer service falls well short of what you would expect when something goes wrong.

initially everything was great, the installation was also very good.
The issue was they sold me a mini fuse board I didn't require, trying to get that returned and a refund made is where the issues started. Suddenly no response to messages and when I called I was assured they would email return details. Still waiting.

We would use the label to return it, if you supplied a label, or even emailed one we could print off.

Apart from first aborted visit (cable run as planned could not take place), second visit went very smoothly. A very neat job by two efficient men.

The engineer arrived on time and completed what was quite a difficult installation of the cabling for the charger box. Afterwards, he ran through the instructions with me and made sure I understood them.

I had an EV charging point installed today by Fraser from Bumblebee and I couldn't be happier.
From start to finish the service was 1st class!!!! Fraser was punctual, polite and clearly a very skilled electrician. The installation which unfortunately was more complicated than first thought, is incredibly neat and he took the time to talk me through how everything works.
Very tidy, professional and great value. If you need a charging point installed, I would highly recommend Fraser from Bumblebee 👌

Good communication, installer was really good and kept internet running even when house power was off which enabled me to keep working.

Engineers were great, explained everything, installation was great, very friendly, cleaned up afterwards and very courteous. Would highly recommend after this experience
