From humble beginnings to London’s most trusted business-class car service in just over forty years, Addison Lee have grown with and for the times. And yet, so little has changed about us. We still believe that taxis and minicabs can be so much more than just a means to an end – our clients are right to expect extraordinary standards, and by allying the latest technologies with traditional customer service values, we can not only disrupt the industry, we can revolutionise it. Today, our iconic cars are responsible for getting over 10 million people where they need to go each year in London alone. And with our business expanding every day – across both the UK and worldwide – we will continue to deliver that same executive service consistently, no matter where we are.

Driver arrived earlier than scheduled which was great and helped with the suitcases. Vehicle was very clean inside and out.

Brilliant. Driver was great and on time. Car was big enough for wheelchair and plenty of room for us and bags. Will use again.

Prebooked a cab on Thursday lunchtime for a pickup at 815am on Monday to get an elderly relative to Kings Cross to catch a train. At 815am nothing had shown up I rang and get told they don't have any drivers and it'll be half an hour! I had to cancel and get a minicab (incidentally £25 as opposed to the £31.06 Addison Lee were charging) - then at 9am I get a call saying my driver was outside I pointed out the car was 45 minutes late and I had cancelled it 40 minutes previously. They took payment within 24 hours of booking but it takes '7-10 working days for a refund'! Customer service just said it wasn't their fault they didn't have a driver - if you prebook days in advance surely they should make sure it's honored. Never again.

I booked an airport assured cab the day before to pick me up the following day 40 mins after my plane landed. It was confirmed and I was then sent a reminder the day of the flight. My plane had WiFi so I was surprised to see an “amendment” whilst flying. It changed the booking to an ASAP booking and I then received a notification that the driver was on his way - which was problematic as we were still 2 hours’ flying from Heathrow. I sent 2 emails to customer services without response so I ended up cancelling the booking. I was then unable to make another one as I got an “Oops” message and asking me to call a number. Obviously, I couldn’t because although the plane had WiFi, it didn’t have a mobile signal.
I tried again on the app once I landed without success. So I had to call the number. The customer services assistant ended up getting me a booking for an hour later and couldn’t understand why I wasn’t exactly thrilled. He was unable to explain why my original booking had been amended without my involvement or why I had received no response to my 2 emails.
Pre the pandemic, AL were decent. Post the pandemic, they are hit and miss at best.

A wet Thursday evening in central London, and no driver was available at the booked time. It was not until after I phoned, and after the booked time, that they sent me a text about the indefinite delay. I've had an email explanation from them, which does not tie in with what was said on the phone.

Well, let's try...
They take me anywhere I want to go and they are always on time, never met a driver with any attitude...
And on the rare occasion there is some issue, a simple call to customer service invariably restores my faith and resolves things perfectly

My first experience with Addison Lee was really nice and enjoyable. I was in a good time to airport. Thank you for your time!

I have used Addison Lee many times, and the drivers and cars are typically excellent.
However, for today I had booked a ride to get me to Paddington at 4:10am. At 3:55am, a dispatcher rang and asked if it was OK that the driver would be 15 minutes late. I said it was not as I had an airport train to catch. Then the car was late anyway -- in fact, no driver had been found. I ended up having to order an order an Uber.

The driver arrived 45 minutes early and waited until we were ready. I could track the journey which was great. I give it 4 stars because the app and the tracking link said my family member arrived 15 minutes before they actually did. This made me worried why the journey was marked as completed early and I couldn’t track where they were or when they actually arrived to the airport.

I've been using Addison Lee services quite regularly mostly to go to and from airport. Until recently, I've always found them to be reliable. Their drivers were professional and courteous. This has not been my experience in the last three months. Drivers are turning up late (even 20-30 min late). In one case the driver did not bother apologising and even blamed me for coming out too quickly!

On 13th of October around 6:40 am the registration driver was driving dangerously. The driver also cut Infront of my car in which could have been a very bad car accident. The driver's supposed to be representing your company. And he's not doing this very well.

Have been using AL for a long time and have been happy.

Have some consideration for people who book to go to a train station please!! I booked a taxi two days before in time to get my train. The taxi was late which was really unfair. The driver said this was due to the way they do their bookings. The driver tried his best to get me there in time which is why it’s two stars rather than one.

The transfer taxi turned up right on time and the driver was very polite. The 2 mile trip from The Sheraton Skyline to Heathrow Terminal5 was straightforward. I hadn’t planned on paying for a transfer trip expecting instead a complimentary shuttle service so the £25 transfer came as a bit of a surprise. However, Addison Lee did a good job.

I've used AL globally in the past and it had been a good service. The last two times in the Cheshire area it's been a joke. I booked an exec car, paid a premium, the car was late, and was a local taxi that turned up and a dirty one at that. I will not be using again. Plus customer service is appauling. I'd rather walk! Avoid!

Keith was an absolute professional and picked my family up from the airport. We were delayed over two hours and he was there on time. His car was immaculate and we really well looked after. Thank you Addison Lee 😀
