Used the order online and reserve and pickup options for the first time and it all worked out very well.
Pickup and delivery where each very transparent with confirmations and availability respectively package tracking.
All in all it just worked smooth.

reserve and collect is the best option at OBI

OBI at Roztyly in Prague is our local store. We needed help in securing our exhaust pipe from our mobile air-conditioning unit in our bedroom window using foam and plastic. The gentleman, Tomáš, who looked after our enquiry was great. He offered us advice, was attentive, very helpful and spoke perfect English! Thank you so much!

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience with OBI.

My order was only partially delivered, and several prepaid items are still missing. For almost two weeks I have been trying to contact customer service. Apart from automatic confirmation emails, I have received no meaningful response.

Despite several emails and complaints, no solution has been offered and no refund has been processed. Because of the delay, I had to postpone already scheduled work, which caused extra costs and significant inconvenience.

Most disappointing is the complete lack of communication and responsibility towards the customer. I expected much better service from a company of this size.

Unfortunately, not recommended.

Super, nice people work there, happy to find pellets there which at the time were nowhere to find

It was a very simple purchase. I needed a small saw for the garden, knew which make I would have preferred, found it and bought it.
I was in the store for, perhaps, 15 minutes. It was FULL of staff with nothing to do. Not one of them asked whether they could help me. There is something wrong with this somewhere.

I drove 25 minutes to pick up some material and the clerk that was in the department said that he couldn't cut it for me and the person who could would not be in until noon that I would have to come back I went to the service desk and they said the same thing I think this is totally unacceptable customer service and I will not be returning to the store as there are better options with exceptional service

I ordered Metylan Tapetenkleister Vlies. It costs about 10 euros. But unfortunately, the GLS delivery doesn't deliver it well to my address, and they drop it on the street. As a result, I lost the item. After 2-3 days of communicating with the OBI service team, I got the full refund for the item that was (unfortunately) lost.

Could be more paying ways online, not only this Klarna shit. I would like to pay in front but there is no way of that. I am carefull to use Creditcard right and left. Sad for that this simple solution what is not possible

I bought a heavy garden machine from OBI. I was going to order it from Amazon, but in the last minute because I had this 10% voucher, I decided to order from them. When I order heavy things from Amazon, they carry it about 40 steps up the stairs to my garden. It is “spedition”. It’s the very reason and the only reason I’m ordering this. I’m not going to the OBI market and fetching it myself.
So today OBIs delivery man just dumped the stuff on the street on a palette and went. My husband and I have physical constraints , we should not be carrying such a thing. That’s why you order with “Spedition”
I was going to give feedback to OBI but in the app I can’t get to the detail view of my order the app is hanging. And there is NO way of contacting support on the app. You can get consultancy for your garden etc but no mail, chat etc whatsoever to give feedback and report a problem.
Next time I paying the extra few bucks and ordering by Amazon. They made a brilliant job with my barbecue and other heavy
Machines.

Reply to OBI : my Amazon deliveries were never to the curbside. They brought it to my front door. I always gave the men some tip. This is the last time I am using your online page to buy anything heavy.

So in case you buy a gift card bought in the store and want to use it online - doesn’t work. And in case you go there early in the morning before work to order your stuff in my case 32kg each they tell you it costs 49 bucks to ship it. You can use now the voucher but have to pay 49 € at least. Oh ok OBI so it’s fort free in the dam store but the voucher ain’t work and here it would work but you charge 49€ minimum. And tell me to pick it up which in no world I’m able to do. What a f scammer.

What a humiliating customer experience in Berlin!

They are services are arrogant and do not know what customer service is. I don’t know if it’s a German approach where the customer is always wrong, or a simply language barrier.

OBI has clearly showed by their behaviour that they don’t want me as their customer, which I’m happy to do and go to any other baumarkt in Berlin.

I have never experienced such a horrible customer service, and I work in customer service myself. Disgrace.
