Terrible customer reply's. Maybe they went out of business and want you to forget your payment you have made over the years.
Mail.com does not answer a single complaint. We customers do not exist in their world. But you better pay the membership or they will drop you. Like they do anyway since they don't give a crap about long time customers. No response, no care, lock out for no reason, pathetic worthless site. It should not exist this way and deserve for all to leave it.
Works when it wants
absolute pain im using firefox browser and it either works one min and then not at all when i login its either error code 400 or i click on the login bit does not work gp to where the login bit pops up , Nothing but chew for weeks with it . Or its firefox browser whats at fault ,
After 25 years, its Goodbye mail.com. Shame.
A few days ago I wrote a 3* review in which I noted that, after 25 years excellent service, mail.com had become a problem. I could access my email on 8/10 occasions.
Since then I have accessed mail.com on 0/10 occasions on my PC. Fortunately I recently installed the app on my phone so am desperately recovering all essential emails to another provider. A real pain.
After 25 years, its Goodbye mail.com. Shame.
Support doesn’t exist
Support doesn’t exist, they don’t respond to problems, password reset doesn’t work, and errors everywhere.
Unusable interface
I have been a mail.com customer for years and have never had cause to complain. Suddenly within the last month or so they have revamped the email interface. I use dark mode for everything and the old mail.com interface worked fine with all emails perfectly readable. Now, however, there is no way I can get the email interface to go dark mode. Emails coming in however still have the font in WHITE on the now WHITE background and consequently they are totally unreadable! I have tried every which way to alter this but without success. Moreover the new interface is a small box in the middle of the browser and is horrible to navigate. I can't find anything and can't see anything so I have been forced to change to someone else after years and years. I can't find anyone to discuss this with except the AI messenger thingy. AI was very sympathetic but, of course, no help whatsoever. Bye bye mail.com.
Logging in a nightmare
After a good, no, excellent start, I find it now takes many attempts to sign in so I miss confirmation codes for sites like this. I am actively looking for an alternative and don't recommend this service.
I became a mail.com customer in 1998…
I became a mail.com customer in 1998 when I returned to the United States. I created an email address that would be useful to me. For years, I had no reason to complain about them, but lately, there's a new game being played with me. Now I cannot even access the mail service part of their website; I only get a page that I am attaching as a PDF of what attempting to log in gets me. If there was another link to get into the email service, it is not made visually accessible to a paying customer. That much I can easily document effectively. However, I had that email address forwarding incoming email messages to my mail.com address that were to be forwarded to my Outlook address. That worked until late June 2026 in which I saw that the messages were not always coming through and that the Outlook address revealed nothing from mail.com. I hoped to make contact with them to see what the problem is or was, but I discovered soon enough that they were definitely hiding from a paying customer!
If there is a problem with my payment method -- which could be because some fraudulent transactions in my bank account forced the bank to replace my debit card with a new one that was valid. However, if that had been a problem, notifying me was the proper thing to do, but I heard nothing at all about such a problem. I have seen that they give a paying customer few options for filing complaints. Their website directed me to Trustpilot for filing complaints, so I am following their instructions now. I have PDF files that I can submit, but is there a way to submit them here? I searched the site over, but I did not find an option for submitting visual proof of my problem. I will wait and will hope for the best; doing thingslike this to an indigent, disabled senior male 74 years of age is hardly a minor disservice to me; I need help, not to be buried in silence.
Once Reliable Service Failing Miserably Since Update
I have used Mail.com Premium (paid) service for over 15 years with no issues whatsoever. After their recent web site update, I am unable to log in for extended periods of time. Calls and messages for help to their Premium customer support go unanswered. I am dependent on the Mail.com address for many business accounts I use daily. Looks like time to move on to a reliable service provider.
I have been blocked from my account 4…
I have been blocked from my account 4 times within the past month for at least 24 hours at a time. No explanation or even contact when messaging their customer support. It used to be a reliable email service provider. This issue has disrupted my business. I am transitioning over to a new email service provider.
I've had the service for 4 days. Delete.
I've had the service for 4 days and on three of those days I went to log in to discover I needed to change my password.
On two of those days that happened twice.
On four days I was able to send One email and received none.
The help section is worthless.
Customer service does not respond.
I deleted it.
I can't understand how Mail.Com could even score a 2.
Literally the worst email service I have ever encountered.
I have been locked out of my Mail.com…
I have been locked out of my Mail.com account with no explanation whatsoever.
In the weeks since, I have submitted five separate support requests, and not one has received a reply. Not a single acknowledgement, update, or resolution.
To make matters worse, there is no telephone number to call and no live chat option — the only route to “support” is a black hole of a ticketing system that appears to be entirely unmonitored. For a service that holds people’s email, contacts, and personal correspondence, this level of unresponsiveness is completely unacceptable.
I have used other free and paid email providers for years without a single access issue. Mail.com has managed to lock me out of my own account and then abandon me with zero communication. If you value being able to actually access your inbox — or having any recourse when something goes wrong — steer well clear.
Save yourself the stress. There are far better alternatives out there.
recently, its constantly letting me down

Account blocked, unable to access, I cannot even close the account.Terrible and please avoid this email service.
0 response from customer service
As a new business, highly frustrating to have been locked out of my account for the past 5 days. If it just came down to a security problem - fine, let’s get it sorted but after several emails I’ve had no response at all. Do not use this company for your emails.
I have been using mail.com for years!
I have been using mail.com for years. I have been using it for my personal e-mail for many many years since 2010. I had all my info in there and used the on-line office. 2 years ago I lost access to my account and was never able to get back in. I was upset. There was a loss of access to the phone number so I lost all that info. So I opened a new account and this time I made sure all my info, contact information and recovery info was up to date and all rock solid. Then last week I got block by some automation thing on my ISO App. It said to contact customer service. I called and since I do not have paid service they could not help me. So I sent a message on the contact form. I got a message to reply with some info. I did and have not gotten no reply. I have a few things going on. The 1st is it is the middle of hiring season for the next school year, I have 100 applications out to schools with this e-mail listed as my contact. I am in the middle of applications and interviews with several schools as well as I have much business tied to this account. I have no access to info and documents I need for jobs, personal business, immigration, banks and my travel next week. This blocked issue has cost me a lot of time and hassle. As well as money. This blocked access will cost me not just a few job offers. But cash money to the toon of $1,000 of dollars and hassle with my travel next week! I am in the process of after over a decade and 1/2 with them. Switching to another e-mail provider. My company that I work for who also uses there service for there company e-mail provider will be canceling there services as there paid service expires. I would not recommend there service to anyone. It may work well when it does, but when it goes wrong you will be screwed. The hardest part is not having just access to the emails. But also the info/documents I have stored in there cloud server as well as in the on-line office they have, which I cannot access at all.
junk
I had so many important emails saved now locked out of account no support at all DO NOT GET MAIL.COM ITS A SCAM
They blocked me 3 days ago
They blocked me 3 days ago. They asked for information. I provided it. They promised to be back in touch in 24 hours. Nothing at all from them.
Got blocked suddenly and no way of connecting anyone.
Was happily using my mail.com account when it was suddenly blocked for "irregular activity". It's a nightmare to find any way to contact them. Then I found a form. Sent in a form which was automatically replied to saying that someone would get back to me in 24 hours. That was a week ago.
Would not recommend to anyone. Only wish I had read these reviews before opening an account with them.
You have blocked my work email account…
You have blocked my work email account for no reason. I've been trying to contact your technical support for three days and no one is answering. I have my company and accounting firm's information in that email. I can't use my account information because of your incompetence.
