They continue to increase the price yearly by a massive amount without actually providing updates that people actually use. Their security is a joke and most of their code is PHP jumbled mess.

WHMCS is truly a fantastic platform
WHMCS is truly a fantastic platform. Powerful, reliable, and essential for managing hosting businesses efficiently. However, I’m not very happy with the constant license price increases. These ongoing changes make users start looking at competitors as a simpler and more affordable alternative. I hope WHMCS reconsiders its pricing strategy in the future, because the product itself really deserves all the success.

It is a really offensive company
It is a really offensive company. I asked to delete a picture with my phone number on it in their forum and they ignored my ticket. Where is the privacy protection? Where is the digital protection ?
WHMCS are the worst.
WHMCS are the worst.
Their teams don't comply with a legal request for data, known in the UK as a subject access request.
A SAR can be requested in anyway that they can be contacted. Instead WHMCS demand you follow a set process, which isn't required by the rules.
This is interesting as they're a UK registered company, with complete disregard for UK laws.
Instead of answering why, when provided proof from the ICO of their responsibilities, they just ignored and closed the request.
A complaint with the ICO has been raised today, hopefully meaing they comply with their legal obligations.

Them as a company, they go back on purchase agreements of Owned life time licences because their owners got greedy.
Now they can regularly peer in to your data to see "usage" but you have to trust what they see isn't sensitive - something you cannot because the code is encoded.
Given both WHMCS and their sister brand cPanel was compromised in different ways in the past, leading to a massive data disclosure, can you really trust them to keep such data secure.

Long-time user deeply disappointed
I’ve used WHMCS for over 10 years. It used to be a great product, stable, reliable, and decent support. Since the acquisition, the quality has steadily declined while prices have shot up. Bugs have gone unresolved for years, including one I personally reported multiple times. Instead of fixing existing issues, they add, IMO, useless new features.
Support is unhelpful, with canned responses. Like others, I paid for a lifetime license that was stripped away when they moved everyone to a subscription model.
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I’ve had enough. The product no longer meets the standards expected of a paid service.

WHMCS offers outstanding customer…
WHMCS offers outstanding customer support—quick, responsive, and always ready to help with any issue. For more complex tasks, they also provide optional paid services, which can be a great help. While the platform itself can be challenging to navigate and does require a good deal of technical knowledge and setup time, the level of support more than makes up for it. Overall, I’m giving 5 stars thanks to their exceptional service and dedication to their customers.

Good on basics, fails on complex
Good on basics, fails on complex. We have been using WHMCS for a number of years now and have noticed the quality of support drops off a cliff when the questions become more complex. In the beginning you have simple questions, as your business grows you become more sensitive to bugs and issues that you can manage manually when smaller. As you hit more complex issues you usually have to go through 3 iterations of explaining to WHMCS that its not a simple answer, then eventually you get someone who understands the system and you go through another 3 iterations before you get one of two answers: 1) there is no solution; 2) its a bug, we've raised a ticket - and then it never gets fixed. Another problem is they prioritise new features over fixes to existing features, we suspect because the product is now such a patchwork of fudges and fixes they are no longer able to fix one thing without breaking another. We have started building a replacement platform because its got so bad. Its impossible to scale a business using this platform, its a good initial tool, but inadequate as you grow.

10. Bug - not fixed: EmailForwarding model doesn't display the correct prior data in the "original" array
