Been with rift for 2 to 3 years
Been with rift for 2 to 3 years. Only thing I don't like is how long they take to sort it out. Months while friends of my have all the tax sorted and paid with in weeks. I do understand this is busy time. Messaged them for a update, they said HMRC haven't finished sort out your tax. Phone HMRC and my tax had been done and new tax code sorted. Contacted rift again, the said it could take up to 6 weeks for HMRC to release the tax refund. I kicked off after waiting months. Message later that day and my refund was released and I should get my refund in 3 working days. Wouldn't use them again.

We do experience higher volumes during our peak tax return season, which can sometimes impact processing times. However, I can see that your tax refund claim was submitted to HMRC on 02/07/2026, and we received the refund from HMRC on 09/07/2026. The refund was then paid into your bank account three working days later. When submitting claims, we advise customers of HMRC's standard processing timescale of up to six weeks. We are pleased that your refund was processed and received significantly sooner than the standard timescale provided. Kind Regards, Sinead

Rift made it a breeze over the phone and got things moving quickly, even running through additional expenses that I could claim too! The Rift app made it super simple to upload my relative documents and other information.
Everyone I spoke to was friendly, informative and understanding.
I am very glad I used Rift and will be my go too for all my Tax returns in the future.
