delivery and logistics - poor organisation
We ordered a school laptop and a pen at the end of April as our school is turning to eBooks. We were then told that the laptops would be delivered at the beginning of the school year directly at the school (backlog of orders...).
Then at the beginning of August I received info that there was a delivery planned from Rent Company arriving at my house via PostNL.... fortunately I managed to investigate with the customer care (took quite a while to get through to an actual person) who told me that only the pen was being delivered and the laptop would indeed be delivered at the school in September.
I found this weird and impractical for two reasons - firstly the laptop and the accessories should be delivered together to avoid confusion and mistakes, secondly delivering something at the beginning of August (without even confirming if this is ok with the receiver - as our initial order was made in April!) is a tricky issue because of holidays. I was assured by the customer service that I would need to sign for the item and that it would not be delivered just by dropping it in my mailbox.... I was worried about this as the chosen courier was PostNL who are notoriously bad (I have had only bad experiences with them and avoid any delivery which involves them).... and of course, the package was simply put in my letterbox, without any need to sign....

Whet to rate?
It is strange that a company who provides services would like to have customer feedback without having the item in this case laptop actually used.
Very difficult to rate based on a few emails received and actually a pen received via post.
