Shameful profiteering
We ordered a Lego set advertised as the RRP at £369, received an order confirmation and within the hour received a cancellation claiming 'stock issues'. The Lego set was then readvertised at a highly inflated £529. The set was out of stock on the Lego website so this is a blatant act of profiteering. The set was for our 10 year old son who had saved his pocket money to buy it to build over the summer holidays and does not have an additional £160 to pay the over inflated price. Rackhams are now ignoring our emails and have not provided a satisfactory response for this absolutely appauling service. They have been reported to the Trading Standards under Consumer Protection for Unfair Trading.
