Do not order from this website. Even though they have a great wine selection, their service is horrible. I never received my full order, no one reach out to me proactively to explain. i have been trying to figure things out for the past month so i can either get the missing items or get a reimburesment. Worse experience i ever had online.

I placed an order of approximately €250 (plus about €50 in shipping costs) at the beginning of December, and it never arrived, despite the fact that I had provided a delivery address that is open all day, every day.
After about a month and a half, I requested that my order be cancelled, and Privateceller authorized the cancellation, informing me that I would be refunded.
To date, I have not received any refund, even though around 10 days ago a refund for the merchandise (excluding shipping costs) was approved.
I find it unbelievable that after two months I have still not been reimbursed and that I am expected to pay the shipping costs, despite the fact that the failure to deliver is entirely the responsibility of the courier (GLS) chosen by them.
This situation is unacceptable — this is amateurish behavior and shows a complete lack of professionalism.

If they continue to use GLS I will never order from them again.
For the second time GLS don't arrive, then claim we were not at home. Both times I have wasted 2 days waiting for the delivery.
Private Cellar need to understand the the courier is losing them business.

I was a bit hesitant to order from this site because of the negative reviews, but my experience was great! The delivery was fast, and the product arrived in perfect condition. Everything went smoothly! Definitely recommend

There are many bad reviews of this company on here which I read after I placed my order. These made me quite nervous especially since I did not receive an email to confirm the order. However, it has just arrived, beautifully wrapped. No complaints.

I ordered a bottle of Mescal on 10/02/2025. I was first told that it would be delivered within a few days. I then received word that it was on its way. When it didn't arrive by the promised time, I reached out to Privateceller. They apologized and told me that it hadn't even arrived at their warehouse yet, despite my having been previously informed that it was "out for delivery". Then I was told that the next delivery attempt couldn't be completed because they didn't have my correc t address, even though I had provided it to them. Then I was promised delivery yesterday and waited at hokme all day. The delivery service claimed that it couldn't be delivered because I wasn't home. They had my address and phone number and never even tried to deliver it. I have now been informed that I will need to travel to another town to collect it. I contacted PrivateSeller and they refuse to refund my money, saying the issue "is out of their hands." I will dispute the charge with American Express, but will never do business with this company again.

I was sceptical after reading the reviews but placed my order anyway. Service was great, received email the next day confirming despatch of my order along with a tracking number, prompt delivery all bottles intact.

Goods delivered quickly as per the order. No issues whatsoever, can recommend. Competitve princing

I asked for two bottles. After two weeks they say they can't serve the order and ask for an IBAN number to return the money. We'll see! DON'T BUY there

They do not deliver any ordered items. Customer Service is not available.

I ordered six bottles of wine. They did not send any message ,ook the money. And send me six bottles of wine, but not even one was the right one. There’s no possibility to contact them. No chance to get your money back.

Made my 1st purchase and they sent 2 wrong bottles that i didnt order. After a small refund made my 2nd purchase and they forget to send the bottle. Terrible service. Dont buy.

Scam. They shipped me a broken bottle. Gls informed them of the damaged package and they ordered to deliver anyway. Impossible to contact the customer service. They exist to fraud the people
