I felt I had to leave a positive review here, as I had accidentally purchased a yearly subscription, yesterday (really wanted monthly) and they have immediately refunded my US$288 today, after business hours had resumed in Singapore, ...along with a friendly email explaining what had happened and how to avoid it in the future. Billing support doesn't get any better than this.
But then again, I had provided my account-ID and transaction-ID in my original (friendly) cancellation email. Maybe these things do make a difference, after all !? 😉
I also had done my own research beforehand, and I'm happy to report: PixVerse is definitely NOT a "scam"! They are a huge operation with 2 very publicly known founders, around 100 employees and ~ US$ 350 million funding.
Go figure! 😉👍

Have continued to try to charge a credit card which I had to cancel because they wouldn't stop it even though I cancelled the subscription. I get an email every couple of days saying they can't charge that card. Of course they can't....I had the bank shut it down!!!
RUN! Don't walk....RUN as fast as you can from this scam of a company. I'm asking my bank to begin fraud investigations against them. This has gone on for two months now.

Will cancel your annual subscription without warning and without refund or even prorated refunds.

I had discovered a discrepancy that meant the companies app and website charged different prices for the product I use. Eg seedance 2 standard app 300 credits website 180 credits. This has cost me in one month in excess of 3000 credits.
The companies "good will" gesture was 800 credits despite a written admission that the advertised discounts for seedance only work on the website, that they are aware of it and seemingly don't care to advertise the fact clearly.
They clearly push the app but it is broken and costing their customers money.
Be warned!

The browser site has correct prices yet if you use the app the prices in credits per video are substantially higher. And therefore using the app costs you more.
When I emailed support about the discrepancy they shrugged it off not even caring that they had robbed me of about 1000 credits because I used the app they pushed.
The videos you can create are okay but customer service is garbage. They don't care, they don't communicate.

It was the best for ai videos. Not anymore. They changed 60 daily credits to 30 and it is so not worth it. The last not selfish and greedy ai video site has caved. Please go back to your old ways.

It was good when it started. What happened to the free videos its rubbish now

PixVerse consistently ruins your shots by randomly introducing movements or actions that, in your wildest imagination, you would not expect. Their prompting guide, which I stumbled upon, tells users to let the image to speak for itself and not to over describe that is in the image. Well. Consistently the output video will change morph or disrupt a perfectly good image, making it nearly the opposite of what you have asked for. I have ran gens and have had 20 to 30 outputs that were completely unusable. They have so much potential but...it is crap. C1 and V6 alike.
Reply from PixVerse
I think it doesn't work well. It takes a long time for it to interpret prompts perfectly. You end up using a lot of credits without getting a good result. You can see the attempts I made in my account.
Reply from PixVerse
The model seems to only be good at creating garbage and slop. The prompt modification is costly and does not work properly. The cancellation of subscription is not straight forward and hints at a shaddy practice. This is way too expensive for the service it provides and the general output quality. If you want to cancel, you need to downgrade to basic plan. This is twisted unclear and confusing.

I get mad with this AI and for sure I will never pay to use it. The results are not consistent. It can make incredible videos but most of the time, the AI doesn't understand the most basic prompt (even those made with AI especially for Pixverse). I keep wasting free credits. I get only 20% of good results, much below others AI.

The fact that the sixth frame went wrong is your fault, and it cost me so many credits. I lost not only credits but also time—almost three hours—because this site couldn't generate a one-minute video for me. And their Agent kept asking me to top up my credits. I had 600 credits to start with, but I lost over half of them arguing with the Agent. He seems to be programmed to "steal" credits, saying I don't have enough. I'm filing a complaint against this site and giving it a very negative review on all forums.

Really good for free generations, However, I feel like the platform scams me out of credits by doing the most dumb generations, totally ignoring the prompt, even if I now provide the scene image, it must be on purpose or AI is Dumb, non intelligent. Then the option is there to download although it won't allow it from cell phones, and along with Google, will block you from downloading externally. Rubbish behaviour.

This is a scam. You purchase a subscription but you still have to pay for tokens. You are given a notification that credits have been applied but they never show up. It's AI feature DOES NOT LISTEN, AND DOESN'T FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS! Thereby, you go broke trying to get your video correct. I cancelled my subscription.

Pixverse is One of the worse and expensive AI, Youbwill pay for subscription and then you will need to pay for points, scamers never subscribe. I got ripped off.

I would have given nearly 5 stars, I've been using the platform since a month until now, but since some adjustments they've made, this platform has become way too expensive for no reason.
The problem is mainly with the AI Agent if you have a project in mind to create.
The rate of one reply from the AI agent had a fixed rate of 2 credits at each reply from a discussion, just for a few lines of text, just to set things right. Since 06/18/2026, a simple Yes from the AI Agent can now cost you $5 (500 credits). Some few lines (10) cost me up to $25 for just one reply that is not relevant, just repeating what I was asking. No illustration created, no video created, no idea suggested.
PixVerse has become a ripp off. You won't be able to build a project with the AI Agent if you do not have a 100 thousands dollars budget, it's true.
I've been asking for some explanation to the support, some agents tell they have noticed the issue, some agents tell it's normal.
I would really recommend not taking any membership, you won't be able to use it as the credits you get won't last a few seconds on this AI platform.
I'm regretting subscribing for a year as I know now I've been scammed in some way.
I feel sad because I have to abandon my project halfway ! What a waste of money and time.

Hello, I appreciate your efforts to resolve the issue, but I assure you that I have not received any reply to my email dated May 3rd, 2026.

Thank you!
I have been using this program for sometime, paying month-to-month, and I genuinely believe it is a brilliant piece of software. I love what the developers have built. However, my recent experience with a long-term subscription has been incredibly frustrating.
When I signed up for what I thought was a monthly plan, I discovered I had been charged for a full year. It appears the annual plan was pre-selected by default—a deceptive "dark pattern" that seems designed to catch users out. I decided to live with it because I valued the product (and got a discount), but from that day on, the service became functionally unusable.
I experienced constant issues with uploads, which would consistently hang at 50% or 97%. I have a fast internet connection and have zero issues with any other AI video generators (multi video generation programs in Eleven Labs and also Google Flow), but this platform became a constant hurdle. When I contacted support, they sent me generic, unhelpful troubleshooting links that I had already tried. Despite their promise to resolve my issues within five days, I heard nothing for 14 days and that was after I raised a dispute with PayPal.
It is a tragedy to see such a fantastic tool being managed this way. It feels like the current marketing and ownership are ruining a great product by prioritising overloading and deceptive billing over customer service. While their branding and website lead you to believe they are based in places like the US or Singapore, I have my doubts about their true operating base. Tread very carefully and do your research.
Even after I opened a PayPal dispute, their only response was a generic request for "more time to investigate," despite having two weeks to do so previously. I eventually received a refund through PayPal, but I would strongly advise others to tread carefully. I would never recommend a long-term subscription here. If you choose to use it, pay month-by-month, and be very wary of their checkout process.

They intentionally make unsubscription process hard and unclear. They have no unsubscribe button in their website UI. It's not a scam in strict legal way, but better to avoid this service and deal with honest businesses
Reply from PixVerse
My account got charged for the subscription even though I emailed support to cancel my account and not charge me.
They told me I can cancel my account at any time through their subscriptions page, but on the subscriptions page it actually said that I was on the free plan, meanwhile I was still getting the "You'll be charged soon" email from them.
Pure fraud, nothing else to add.
