Great Service
I called Pension Pie a little while ago as I was interested to find an old pension. I didn’t know where to start but I spoke to Dragana who was really informative and very helpful. In the end I decided not to go ahead with the service as it wasn’t right for me at the time however, it’s something I intend to keep in mind. I had to write this review solely for the great service and communication I received. I have since recommended Pigeon Pie to a few friends who have been wanting this service and they too have mentioned the helpful information they received. Thank you to Dragana once again for her positive communication and service.

At the beginning of every pension trace, we ask clients to provide as much information as possible about previous pensions, employers and, importantly, any documentation they may already hold. Even an old letter, policy number or provider name can provide the crucial information needed to locate a pension.
Unfortunately, the paperwork you have now found was not provided to us during the tracing process. Had we received it, we would of course have investigated those three pensions on your behalf.
We can only trace using the information available to us, which is why the process requires input from both sides.
That said, we are genuinely pleased that you have now managed to trace three of your pensions and wish you all the best with them.

What a waste of money paid to trace some of my pensions no results . Don’t spend money trace yourself have found some of my pension on my own could have save the money rubbish service would NOT recommend.

Pension tracing is often a collaborative process. As part of our service, pension providers send their responses directly to you rather than to us. This is intentional, as it keeps you in full control of your personal pension information and ensures sensitive correspondence goes straight to you.
We do rely on clients keeping us updated with any responses they receive so that we can continue progressing enquiries where necessary. Unfortunately, we received very little correspondence from you during the tracing process, which limited our ability to follow up on the information being returned.
We’re pleased to hear that you’ve since located some of your pensions. It’s also possible that the tracing letters we sent and the enquiries we made helped point you in the right direction or prompted responses that assisted with your own searches. Pension tracing can involve multiple avenues being explored at the same time, and every enquiry helps build a clearer picture.

The company found the pension very quickly. The only problem I had is the Scottish Widows/Mercer made the security difficult. It took a lot of attempts to get the photo right.

SERVICE NOT WORTH PAYING FOR!
I paid for the service around Xmas last December 2025, in order to help in unravelling my civil service pension after I've personally tried with no luck. Since signing up, the service discovered nothing more than I've already discovered (dead-end) in terms of locating my pension. No communication unless I call to find out any update, and the last time I heard from them was more than 3 months ago. I will not advice anyone to sign up, because you can personally do the same thing that they're going to do in terms of writing to potential pension schemes, and doing your research.

Civil Service pension enquiries are unfortunately among the slowest for us to deal with, as they are handled by government departments that often have significant backlogs. Response times can be considerably longer than those of private pension providers.
As part of our process, providers send their responses directly to you rather than to us. This is intentional, as it keeps you in complete control of your pension information and ensures you receive any sensitive information first. We do rely on clients letting us know when responses arrive so we can continue progressing the trace where needed.
We believe you will still receive a response from the Civil Service, and we’ll be happy to help interpret or progress anything they send. Equally, if it turns out there isn’t a pension to be found, while that’s understandably disappointing, it at least provides certainty and avoids you continuing to search indefinitely.

From start to finish you couldn't wish to meet a nicer group of people..
Sue goes out of her way to make you feel at ease I thought I'd been scammed it turned out Aviva had bought out a company that held my policies. Sue reassured me they are working hard to find my pensions and they did.
I would not hesitate to recommend you ask them to help. There are quick and smart enough to see no stone is left untouched and they soon found my missing pensions.
They are worth every penny you pay them. I was looking for 18 months they found mine in 2 months.
