Do Not Support This Fraudulent Business
Purchased a Lifetime License that only lasted 3 years. After purchasing the Lifetime license in 2023, they changed it to only allow it to work with the 2.xx revisions. Once they changed to a 3.xx version, the license ended without notice. They claim it is buried in the EULA agreement. Many others have been caught in their trap, don't let them get you too. This company is a complete rip off. I will be trashing this company everywhere I can. They deserve to be put out of business.

To be transparent: the lifetime license you purchased is tied to a specific major version line, and that version scope is described in the license terms/EULA. That said, we recognize that “lifetime” can reasonably be interpreted differently, and we should have communicated the major-version limitation more clearly at the time of purchase and during the transition to 3.x.
Regarding the license key we offered: it wasn’t intended as a “bribe” or a way to silence criticism. It was a practical attempt to make sure you can keep using the product you paid for on the current version, because we’d rather fix the situation than argue about it.
If you’re open to it, our support team can also provide:
the exact version coverage for your 2023 license,
the relevant section of the terms that applied at purchase,
and a clear path forward (including the free key for the current version, if you choose to use it).

Reviewing a second time at the request of PDF Candy and Trust Pilot. I recently retired from a management position in county government. This product would never be remotely practical in a business environment. If I had instituted this as a cost-effective alternative to Adobe, my staff would have rightly crucified me in front of county leadership, the public and the media. The loss of productivity due to the inadequacies of PDF Candy would have been intolerable and more than justified the cost of the Adobe product. Even as a casual user at home, PDF Candy is woefully inadequate. Unfortunately, I accepted the reviews and pre-purchase trial without enough scrutiny. Just the fact that scanning a document to add to the application has become a three-step process is bad enough; the absolute BS of bouncing between desktop and Pro add a level of frustration that I WILL NOT DEAL WITH. Your product now sits on my computer without a desktop ICON, a link in the taskbar or the startup. A waste of money. I do not have the time or patience to wait for your firm to enhance the functionality to a level that everyone should expect right out of the box. Still ONE STAR becuase NO STAR is not an option. END SECOND REVIEW.... One STAR only becuase none is not an option. Don't waste your money. This is the most frustrating PDF editor I can imagine. Pay the subscription (I did the lifetime) and activate. Start off using the Desktop, try to save - POP-UP says, you need PRO, Go there sign in & start the form again since your data does not carry over. Another POP-UP, you can use DESKTOP, open it, try to save, YOU NEED PRO! Rinse & Repeat. Also, you cannot scan a document into the app. PDF CANDY and PRD CANDY PRO should be the best advertisement that ADOBE could use for their overpriced product. I would gladly remove the program from my computer for a partial refund.

Tech Support was rersponsive and very helpful.
I was using PDF Candy to help resolved an issue with MS Word. The desktop version seemed to fix it, but the web version did not. I contacted Tech Support. They responded quickly and gathered my info to investigate. I had several contacts with Tech Support and they were very responsive. They came up with a solution that solved my problem. They were very helpful. I recommend.

Below Average and Terrible Company
This tool is below average but the worst part is they won't let you cancel. There is no option to cancel and when you email them, they still don't cancel it. You literally have to block it through your credit card.
I had to report it as fraud and get a new card just to cancel.
This is a terrible company. Learn from my mistake and stay far away from them.

Candy PDF offers such a wide range of features that I’m genuinely impressed. You can merge PDFs beautifully and convert files with ease — and it all works much faster than with most online services. The investment is absolutely worth it.
The only thing I still need to practice is redacting PDFs. It seems there’s a trick to making sure everything is completely removed.

Worked on one out of five files. Why bother?
I have asked it to convert five files. First one went very well, and I was happy. All of the others gave me a message that it exceeds what Candy could do for free and offered to sell me Candy PDF Pro. These were not particularly complex files. It is worthless.
