I wouldn't even leave one start if possible. I am a new tenant trying to apply For change of tenant to register with them which they keep objecting due to a issue with the previous tenants. After 3 weeks after of giving them all they need and proof etc including lease paper work form my solicitor etc it still isnt sorted saying they will consider it if i give more proof which isnt needed. After they sent Fulmar services to the unit he was very kind and concerned for me as he could clearly see it was not my issue I am now being told there is a chance the meter may be removed if the meter isnt released into my name which is effecting me being able to move into the unit and be fully trading right before the christmas busy period which i rely on. My other concern is what am i actually being charged for energy after this month being in the premises let alone all my stock in the 4 x 40ft freezers being ruined if the meter gets removed.! Terrible...
Absolutely appalling experience. We moved into a new flat and inherited PE as our energy supplier, as they had installed the meters. Their charges are astronomical so we tried to switch, but weren't able to because PE had not moved the meters onto the national database. Eventually it took us 7 months to get out of our PE account. The new supplier had to replace the meters as they were outdated and would not connect. PE's final bill was 30% too high as they used estimated readings. I'm still waiting for corrected bills two months later. Throughout this period we have been chased aggressively for payment, and yet when I call to find out where the final bills (using actual readings) are, I am fobbed off. A really terrible company: overpriced, terrible customer service, poor technology.

Hi
I have cancelled your contracts with gas electric 3 years ago ....And paid a hefty termination fee....I told u many times to remove all my data from your files. But u refuse to do so. You keep sending me emails to join your company, asking me to renew the contracts which has been cancelled 3 years ago.
So I got in touch with the police they told me to warn ⚠️ you via this email. If you don't adhere I will escalate this to the police further as harassing. And contact the ICO
For the last time do not send anymore email. As I am not in a contract with you guys and wish not to join your company at all ever in the future. Even as renewal. I am with another service provider and happy with them.
You should pay back some of the termination fees. As a good will of gesture.
Update... I have sent the relevant emails to your Data Controller. So I have done what was asked of me. Please review the emails sent to you
Regards

These people are relentless. Keep contacting me about a water supply that is nothing to do with me. Give it a rest and have a day off for gods sake.
Pozitive energy has cut off the gas of over 100 flats where I live, despite tenants paying their bills. Vulnerable people including very young kids, elderly, and my disabled wife suffer directly from this reckless, unethical and borderline criminal act. Hundreds of honest families are left with no heating and hot water.
I would encourage anyone to consider very strongly before engaging with providers being so unethical and who are prioritising money and processes over human life.

Garbage company who employ garbage people it seems. They don't respond to emails, ignore anything, don't provide information, don't help. Literally unbelievably incompetent.

Absolutely hopeless cheap but there is a reason for this as a business with multiple units they have increased my bills from eonext cannot fit smart meters no communication at all then speak to the indian call centre and just talk to yourself as no one cares keep away from a diabolical service then they try to sell you other services water etc its a joke responce is again not factual they have no idea what they are doing everyone stay away

Avoid Pozitive Energy at all costs. The incompetence is staggering.
Initially, their broken billing system erroneously set up two separate accounts in my name, and they aggressively chased me for over £1,100 with threats of collection. I was forced to take them to the Energy Ombudsman, who ruled in my favour, ordering them to fix the accounts and confirming my true final balance was exactly £170.64.
I emailed them twice in July asking for a secure link to pay this mandated £170.64. They ignored both emails.
Instead of accepting the payment they were legally owed, they fabricated a completely new incorrect balance of £445.86 and instructed Flint Bishop Solicitors to harass me for it under the threat of commercial debt collection.
When the Ombudsman finally contacted them this week, a representative admitted in writing that the true balance is £170.64, but claimed he was "not sure" why I hadn't paid-conveniently ignoring that his own company refused to answer my emails and sent debt collectors after me instead.
This has been ongoing for about 18 months, and the cycle has no end in sight as they continue to send me threats through themselves and through their solicitors. Both companies just completely ignore me whenever I respond and try to proactively sort it out. I have now had to issue formal Subject Access Requests (SARs) just to force them to accept the payment they are legally owed.
[UPDATE - 27 October 2026]
PE Solutions has replied below confirming the balance is £170.64 and stating the Ombudsman case is now closed.
This is all well and good, but it changes absolutely nothing in practice. They have STILL not provided a way pay this balance, and have still not responded to any of my many, many proactive outreach attempts to settle this. Furthermore, they have not provided any confirmation that their solicitors (Flint Bishop) have been instructed to stop chasing me for the fabricated £445.86.
Until I am actually given a way to pay and the debt collectors are formally called off, this cycle continues.

PE took on board a new build at Trewby buildings so they supplied a commercial supply as they have lost their domestic licence. When Trewby was handed over they remained the supplier from April until July-August 2026 when we encouraged residents to pick a domestic supplier PE did everything it could to make this process difficult including blocking change of supplies for 86 families. But the worst was yet to come when they had not received payment they switched off the supply leaving a resident to have to be decanted due to no supply. This could have been a disabled resident or one with young children. I am aware this is an illegal act and all residents are advised to report PE to Ofgem. Never seen such behaviour to hold an innocent resident hostage in order to get paid. disgusting!!

As a commercial landlord we have instructed all our commercial tenants to stop using positive energy (PE) going forward.
In our opinion we have found positive energy to be dishonest in current and previous billings.
They have also failed to follow Energy Ombudsman remedies when found at fault.
IF WE TAKEN ON NEW COMMERCIAL SITES AND POSITIVE ENERGY IS THE UTILITY SUPPLIER WE WILL REMOVE THEM WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT.

Avoid Pozitive Energy if you value your time, money or sanity.
We took over a commercial property on 3 August 2026 and provided Pozitive Energy with the correct tenancy agreement, opening meter readings and supporting information.
Despite this, they continued to bill us for a period before we even occupied the premises, issuing an incorrect bill of approximately £924.
What should have been a straightforward change of tenancy turned into weeks of frustration, repeated emails, telephone calls and completely contradictory information from their customer service team.
We were repeatedly asked to provide information we had already submitted, including details relating to the previous tenant that we simply didn't have access to. Different members of staff gave conflicting advice about what documentation was required and whether the incorrect bill needed paying.
Each time we contacted them, we seemed to get nowhere. We were given lengthy timescales for responses, with little meaningful progress, and were even warned that our change-of-tenancy case could be closed despite the ongoing problems and escalation.
Eventually, after weeks of chasing, they acknowledged the correct tenancy date and cancelled the incorrect invoice. However, this only happened after an entirely unnecessary amount of time and effort on our part.
The biggest issue isn't simply that they made a billing mistake. It's the complete lack of ownership, communication and accountability when trying to get it corrected.
As a small business, we have better things to do than spend hours chasing an energy supplier to correct its own administrative errors.
This has been one of the most frustrating customer service experiences I've had with a utility company.
I would strongly recommend that other businesses think very carefully before using Pozitive Energy.

Stay away from this company, we were forced to use them as our account was transferred from Opus to them
They have no out-of-hours emergency. Scottish Power tried to contact them over the weekend we were left with no power from Friday 3.30 pm to now, still waiting for it to be reinstated. It was due to a warrant they obtained unlawfully without telling the magistrates the warrant had been objected to. They lied to the police and took out the faulty meter, made us pay over £10,000 worth of bills that the faulty meter had produced, and then walked off site as the new meter was single-phase and they needed a 3 phase.Dont use them

Awful company. Have business electricity account which was passed to them from a previous supplier. We have 2 adjacent industrial units, this one had a heavy duty supply installed by the previous tenant. For 18 months we have been trying to have the KVA on this meter downgraded or a COMC, similar equipment/usage in both units but the PE supply is 2-3 times more expensive because of the meter type. They have been absolutely useless to date. To add insult to injury they have just sent me an invoice for £3200, usual monthly bill is around £700. Checked my usage on the portal to find the readings are all over the place, I'm apparently using huge amounts of power throughout the night when the unit is empty & everything switched off. Rang them to be told that the bill was probably estimated which makes no sense, our meter sends readings every half hour. Checked my previous month & that was also overcharged by around £600. Said they would raise a query & get back to me. Nothing so far. The invoice due date is 19th, on 14th they took the full amount by Direct Debit. Rang to complain & asked for email by end of business to confirm that funds would be returned until issue resolved. No email received so recalled payment & cancelled Direct Debit, they are not getting another penny! Have now had an email telling me my payment has failed & informing me that interest & charges will apply if not paid. You could not make it up.
