The workmen arrived on time and were very efficient completing the work very quickly. They also arranged for the removal of the scaffolding at a time to suit me.

The men who did the installation, Antonio and Andy where very good got on with the installation, quicker than I thought they would be and cleared everything away.

The installation process went extremely well from the scaffolding going up to the installation of the panels and the electrical side of the operation everyone was very professional and polite can’t praise them enough

Overall a good experience. The scaffolding guys were very polite and helpful went above and beyond to help move some bits in the garden. The electrician again really polite and explained the system and app before leaving.
Better information could have been given on the scaffolding requirements and what access was needed internally in the loft we found this was a bit lacking and found things out as the guys arrived on site to carry out the works.
It all worked out in the end and so far so good.

The team at Sustain are always helpful and respond promptly.

From start to finish the service provided by Sustain was second to none. From the outset everything went smoothly. I was dealing initially with Josh, then with Ashley who took over the management whilst Josh was on Paternity leave. I can honestly say Ashley kept me well informed of the progress of the installation. She was brilliant & always came back to me within 24hrs. On the day of the installation the two guys who attended were brilliant the installation went very well with the guys causing little or no disturbance during the day. The electrician whose name escapes me was brilliant. He stayed until 8pm finishing off the final bits. He then took his time in going through the workings of the system. He then had a 2 hour drive back to Lichfield. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sustain & their crew to anyone who would be interested in having solar panels fitted. Thank you guys for a job well done.

The installation team where prompt friendly and efficient and made the effort to install as I wanted it, The background team are also helpful polite and do there best to keep me informed. The email/ IT side of things could be improved but I believe this is being looked into.

Sustain Homes made our journey to installing Solar easy from start to finish. Well informed throughout the process. All staff from the office to the installation team were very professional and clearly experienced with the customer in mind. I would recommend them for Solar installation.

My father wanted to purchase solar panels and he got in touch with Sustain. He paid £500 deposit. I telephoned the company just to raise concerns with my father being 82. They came out and discussed the solar panels with my father and I and explained all the pro’s and con’s. Alex Was really helpful and honest and discussed all the options and we all agreed at 82 the best way forward was not to go ahead so they have issued a refund for the £500 with no fuss. I just wanted to thank Alex from sustain for his honesty and support as my father is at a vulnerable age. I would highly recommend the company for excellent advice, customer service and honesty.

Really efficient and professional service - the panels were fitted in a few hours and they left everything tidy afterwards.

I used Sustain Homes via my energy provider, Scottish Power, to install my 10 panel solar system. They kept me informed throughout, the surveyor (Simon) they sent to talk through what system is appropriate for my home was great, everything was easy to follow with online documents. The Customer Service Rep (Ashley) is lovely and didn’t mind answering my naive questions.

Special shoutout to the main installer (Antonio) who did a really great job making sure everything was installed beautifully and aligned to look aesthetically pleasing. Antonio also let me video him talking through everything he had done for future reference because I’m liable to forget due to brain fog!

The communication was great and even when there were little issues the responses was quick and helpful.

When we decided that we were interested in having a solar and a battery installation, we contacted six suppliers for information and surveys. From our initial enquiry through to post-installation, we have been very impressed by Sustain's thorough planning, their communication advising us of each step of the way along with their speedy and efficient service.

We recently had an installation by Sustain via Scottish Power. The parts of the work handled by Sustain all went smoothly, with the initial contact person available for questions via Zoom, paperwork and applications seemed to be filed promptly with relevant bodies, and all contractors turning up when expected, with follow up calls after the installation to explain next steps and how we go about setting up a new tariff.
We had 1 teething problem where some of the solar monitoring information wasn't being correctly sent to the cloud, and this was fixed by their support desk within 1 or 2 days with a firmware update done remotely.
No complaints about the service received.

I had 18 Monocrystalline Solar Panels [7.83 kWp total], an Inverter and a 5.8 kWh Solar Battery fitted on the 24th August 2026 by Sustain Homes.

The pre-prep, planning, logistics, execution and management of the associated tasks and dependencies was excellent.

I have called out the significant points [noted below] of value which define 'excellence' and which may help any future potential customer in differentiating Sustain Homes as their preferred suppler, this given the capital outlay and the actual customer value of any such company 'professional assurances' when making such and investment.

1. Ashley Hatton [Sustain Homes] was excellent. The installation was delayed by 18-months to work through local planning / consent issues. Ashley kept me informed as to installation options / dates and Sustain Homes honoured the initial price agreed when the work was finally executed.

2. The [Sustain Homes arranged] scaffolding access arrived within the pre-arranged 3-day window and notified of such. The 2-scaffolders were professional, polite, quiet in the execution of said erection, and safety conscious. This work to access the roof was completed within 1/2 day.

2. In terms of installation 'logistics', the required equipment arrived on the day as agreed and was carefully unloaded.

3. The installation team of 4 [led by Kyle Ridley] undertook the installation methodically and without issue. All 4-team members were polite, considerate and professional and the works were completed within 1-day.

4. Once the equipment was unpacked and checked, it was found that a 'slave' rather than a 'master' battery had been delivered. Once identified, Kyle ensured arrangements were made to resolve this issue [being a further transport arrangement of the correct item from London to Eastbourne].

5. The team, having completed and quality checked the installation by 16:30 [and explained how the supporting 'app' works], waited until 18:30 hours until the correct 'master' battery arrived from London. This done and checked, the correct battery was then installed. Having checked and signed-off with the client as 'working as designed' Kyle and his team departed home, probably arriving home around 22:00 hours.

5. Today, the 25th August and following discussion with Ashley Hatton / Kyle Ridley, arrangements to pick-up / dispose of all such packaging has been undertaken.

6. The the scaffolding company used locally by Sustain Homes has also been informed that this can now be safely dismantled and removed from site.

7. Ashley Hatton is now working though all the required documentation to enable [Energy Supplier] connection [being ther required compliance certificates, SME guarantees etc.] to enable export [and thus revenue generation for unused KWh!]

All I need think about is how best to use the newly generated KWw being generated from this investment!

Excellent service from start to finish. From the very first call regarding the designing and planning, taking in to account everything I said. Keeping us inform all the way through the process. Installation day was far better than I imagined, installers friendly, informative, courteous and tidy. Much quicker than expected. After care so far has also been excellent. Nothing seems to be any trouble and always reminding us to call them with any questions we may have. Thank you very much for a very smooth process. I would highly recommend this company and people if your thinking of solar panels.

It was a pleasure from starting the process with Sustain and the advice and guidance all the way through. The installation was extremely well planned, the roofers turned up, within 5 minutes the electrician came then 10 minutes later the equipment arrived. All the installation knew their job and it just flowed, the only issue in the installation process was the exposed cables inside our porch, which are rather unsightly I was surprised as I thought they would be mainly in the loft space with just the down drop showing, but that said the whole team worked really hard throughout the day. I would fully recommend Sustain.

From the start of booking a sustain solar panels installation the the journey has been very good very helpful staff keeping intouch regularly to tell you exactly what's going on yesterday we had our solar panels fitted the team of installers were fantastic and very good when finished they went through the battery and inverter workings and the information on the foxcloud app We received an email today to say that the rubbish that was left will be collected tomorrow and the scaffolding will be taken down very soon I would definitely recommend this company if you are thinking of getting solar panels installed

From start to finish Sustain's service was excellent. Installers Max & Jude were brilliant. Explained everything and cleared up every scrap of rubbish. Darren who fitted the solar panels was efficient and did a 5 star job.

I was kept informed about progress at all stages. We jointly negotiated a start date, which was NOT then altered.
I had the same contact throughout (Ashley) which has continued post installation. This meant I didn't need to explain things to several different people.
The next stage is the National Grid to be notified of my system and to have a new tariff from Scottish Power, both of which Ashley will be doing.
Ashley made sure things went smoothly; she did a grand job. Thank you.
