I brought a vintage ring to Sin Kim that was quite warped and originally thought I would need to have it resized. Sin suggested straightening it instead, and it ended up fitting perfectly!

She was able to fix it the same day, tighten the stone, and clean the ring. I could hardly recognize it when I got it back. It looked brand new and fit perfectly!

I also asked her about some of my other jewelry pieces, and she was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain my options. I really appreciated her expertise and care.

I will definitely be using her again and highly recommend her for any jewelry repairs or services!

Sin Kim designed and created a stunning diamond eternity band to mark my 50th birthday. I recently turned 60 and wanted another to celebrate the milestone. I reached out to Sin to create another ring to compliment the other one she made for me and I couldn't be more pleased with how it turned out. From the first conversation to the finished piece, the whole experience felt personal and stress-free. The design is exactly what I had hoped for—elegant, timeless, and beautifully crafted. The diamonds and sapphires work perfectly together in an art deco-inspired setting and the attention to detail really shows. Sin is so personable and puts so much thought and detail in the jewellery she makes for you!

Eg: I have very sensitive skin and always moisturizing. My worry was the cream and debris would get stuck in between the crevices of the ring but she thoughtfully designed it so nothing would get in! She even redid the 3D rendering herself because she wasn't happy with it.

We went to Sin for our engagement ring and wedding bands, and we had a great experience. Sin is very attentive to details and was able to create a very unique and intricate engagement ring. She is very knowledgeable about various material properties and structures. She is transparent with costs, and had a lot of patience working with us. The only downside was that parking is hard to find around her area.

Sin Kim has a beautiful collection of gem stones and jewelry. My experience with her was a dream come true! We designed my fiance's wedding band within my budget. She's great at explaining things and was able to deliver the ring on time without issues. It was a touch too big but she was able to resize it within two days before I had to leave town. Very lovely lady! Would recommended her time and time again.

I recently had an excellent experience with Sin Kim Jewellery for a custom-made diamond eternity band. I first met Sin at the One-of-a-Kind show when I was attracted to her jewellery display, especially her ring designs. There were many jewelers there, but for me Sin stood out. We chatted and I explained what I had in mind and she showed me several options. We exchanged contact information and soon after Sin sent me a computer rendering of the ideas we had discussed. That began a back-and-forth process of fine tuning the design, using examples from her web site and gentle questions on her part. She was an active listener and I completely trusted that she wanted to find just the right design to make me happy.

We later met in person again and I was able to see more examples and discuss ideas. We came to a meeting of minds and again she sent some computer renderings, showing the proposed ring design in various stacking combinations (along with images of my own rings). These were all steps that helped me know we were on the right track. I am now wearing the beautiful ring she made for me and loving it!

In addition, Sin did several sizing/alteration jobs for me and another family member: all excellent work. I was especially pleased with a pair of earrings I hadn’t worn for years which Sin quickly and apparently easily transformed. Again, I am wearing and loving them!

Based on my experiences with her I would highly recommend Sin for any custom or other jewellery work. She is a friendly, patient, no-pressure “people person.” And especially important, a skilled jeweler! Clearly, she loves jewellery in general and her craft in particular. I would happily use Sin Kim Jewellery again!

I've always seen jewellery as a type of art, and similar to picking an art piece for a home/interior/building, etc., it has to be a piece of art that I resonate with. I've always wanted a ring, had an image/idea for a ring, but never found the right artist to create the vision I had that captured what I was picturing, with aspects of my personality (pink, floral, dainty, etc.). I knew I wanted to go to an independent artist to support their business, but could not find someone that resonated with the vision I had. I had been looking at rings for awhile, and gave up after not finding someone that was the right fit. Years later, my friend who knew my vision, stumbled upon Sin's website that had a lot of styles that resonated with what my vision was. There was a ring that was similar to what I liked, but I wanted to change the band/colours to make it my perfect look. The process was super easy, and Sin was able to identify what colour it was that I liked (as someone who does not know gems, it was helpful how she explained the colouring), and she showed me the gems virtually in different lights! I got exactly what I wanted, and it was super easy to do the process (I did it all virtually)! I picked up my ring in a timely manner and get non-stop compliments about it all the time at how it is "exactly my personality", and if you know me, "what a perfect fit it is to who I am". I am really glad I waited for the right artist, and worked with Sin to make my exact vision come true!

Sin is one of the best artists and independent businesses I have ever worked with. She is creative, knowledgeable, positive, responsive, sincere and very honest! The whole process, from start to finish, was so easy and fun. I cannot thank her enough for the piece she made me, and it will be cherished forever. She will be my go-to for any important gift or jewelry and I cannot recommend her to everyone enough!
