Great Learning Experience with Room for More Practical Application
The course was a valuable learning experience, with a good balance between theoretical concepts, practical exercises, and real-world examples. The interactive approach made it easier to understand how Scrum principles can be applied in everyday situations.
One area for improvement would be to dedicate more time to practical scenarios and case studies, particularly around challenging situations that Scrum Masters may face in real teams. Some topics also felt a little rushed, and having more time for discussion and questions would make the learning experience even stronger.
Overall, I found the course useful and engaging, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to strengthen their understanding of Scrum and Agile practices.
I am grateful for the learning…
I am grateful for the learning experiences I have with scrum alliance. I am just wondering how I can get into an agile or scrum framework career given where I am at: MBA and Master of Science from Northeastern Univ in Boston, MA and thirty years of experience as a fund accountant in the financial services industry along with my CAF and CSM certifications.
Strengthening Collaboration with Expectation Mapping…
The session was practical and insightful, highlighting how unspoken expectations often lead to team misalignment. I especially liked the focus on defining outcomes, roles, and the "definition of done" upfront. The expectation mapping framework provides actionable techniques that can be applied immediately in Scrum teams. Overall, it was an engaging and valuable learning experience.

A $1,200 cash grab for basic information you can read online
Paid over $1,200 for the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) course. The two days were mostly icebreakers and basic slides that offered nothing beyond the free 14-page Scrum Guide. To top it off, they force you to pay $100 every two years just to keep your badge active. It’s a recurring revenue trap targeting people who just need a keyword on their resume.

AI-gility
15 years of association with Scrum Alliance (SA) since my Scrum Master certification in 2011. As a proud member, I have gone on to become a CSP-PO following their structured certification path and now an aspiring Agile coach. In today's world of AI, SA is right there with their AI micro-credentials, preparing us to be better Agile professionals to leverage and combine the power of AI with the magic of Agility. The community, resources, training providers, courses, certification paths and support is a blessing for my product management career and it is a privilege to be a member. Truly fostering AI-gility. Thank you SA, keep up the great work!

My experience with the Scrum Alliance…
My experience with the Scrum Alliance has been very positive and influential to my career as a Scrum Masterm The training provided practical Agile knowledge, strong collaboration principles, and real-world application that I continue to use across enterprise programs and cross-functional teams. I completed my ACSM certification through David and genuinely enjoyed his teaching style. his sessions were engaging, practical, and collaborative. I also appreciated the ongoing Scrum Master forums he hosted for professionals to exchange insights and experiences, which added value beyond the certification itself.
