Long time dog show customer.
I have been ordering ribbons from Hodges for years. Excellent quality and service. Even when I forget to order one specific ribbon in my order and they rush and drops hip so I get it in time.

Ever since my first order in 2015 Hodges has been fantastic!
I have been dealing with Hodges since 2015. Hodges has been one of the best suppliers with which I have ever dealt. Their personnel are very polite, accurate, and helpful. Their product is exactly as ordered and always delivered ahead of time -- all of this at a very reasonable cost. The company is outstanding in every way.

Fast and Amazing
Our fair was a week from the date I ordered and the ribbons didn't get ordered when they were supposed to be. I ordered Wednesday morning and Hodges called Wednesday afternoon to verify everything. I had my ribbons on Friday. I was so happy. People told me it couldn't be done, but Hodges did it. The ribbons are beautiful and people complimented them. I would definitely use Hodges again.

Orders in the past have always been…
Orders in the past have always been great. The ribbons have been beautiful. We have both IEA team and regular Horse Shows. This past order however, was a disappointment. I had ordered just champion and reserve ribbons. And I did it over the phone instead of online because I knew I was going to need a rush and I wanted to make sure it got done properly. The young lady I worked with was fine very professional and very helpful. However, she asked me if we would be using our regular logo and I said yes. Now in my opinion a logo involves colors and if she looks back on our previous order, she will see that the center of all of our 1st thru 6th place ribbons have a black center with gold. Well, our ribbons did not arrive with black with the gold horse. They arrived with center colors, I don’t even know who decided on those colors, with our gold horse. When I called about it I pretty much was told (in a very nice way) this was your way of doing it. She actually admitted that she sees that our previous order was done with the black/gold but since I’d not ordered the champion/reserve prior that it was how you do it. Sorry but that’s hardly a great answer. Obviously I would’ve thought someone might had called and asked about the center color. If there was another place to get ribbons of quality I’d probably go there. It’s not the mistake that bothers me; mistakes happen. It’s just the response was just so disregarding.

You are absolutely right in your expectations. When you referenced your regular logo, we should have taken the extra step to review your previous orders and confirm the center color, particularly since your established design includes the black and gold combination. Even though this was your first order for Champion and Reserve ribbons, that is not an excuse, it was an opportunity for us to ask questions and ensure consistency, and we missed that.
More importantly, I am very disappointed to hear how your follow-up call was handled. While the explanation may have been intended to clarify, it clearly did not reflect the level of care and partnership we strive to provide. You deserved a solution and a conversation, not a response that felt dismissive.
I am currently reviewing this internally with our team so we can address both the ordering process and how we communicate in situations like this. We should have offered options — including providing black discs that could be applied by you over the existing disc center and worked with you to make this right.
I would truly appreciate the opportunity to correct this for you. I will reach out to you tomorrow.

This is the best example of great customer service I’be experienced in a long time. The staff saw a repeat email address attached to a different organization and contacted my by phone & email (covering all the bases) to find out if these orders needed to be recorded as separate organizations with the same buyer. Just amazing!
