Great service! Very efficient. Soho66 does everything we need it to do. No more missed calls.
Signed up 30 June 2026 for a London 020 number for our property business. The number was live by 3 July — that part worked, and the welcome email promised "personalised onboarding assistance" and "ongoing support". Neither materialised.
We had bought a Virtual Receptionist add-on that was never set up and never used. On a recorded call on 20 July we asked for that add-on to be refunded. We never disputed the charge for the phone line itself. The setup requirement had not been made clear at the point of sale.
What followed:
29 July. Rather than act on the call, the accounts team emailed asking us to explain the refund request again — while acknowledging in the same email that the add-on "has not been used, and was not fully set up". We asked for the subscription to be paused pending the colleague retrieving the information already given. Within the hour we were told the account was "cancelled and closed". Our main business number went dead that afternoon.
29 July – 10 August. Twelve days. No refund. No investigation. The colleague handling it was on annual leave the entire time. Our business line stayed dead throughout.
10 August. A manager called, ended the call mid-sentence, and followed up by email confirming a £161.96 refund and informing us that Soho66 "will not accept or continue to provide services to our company, either now or in the future". The stated reasons included the fact that we had said we would take our business elsewhere. When we asked for the call recordings, the account notes, a complaint reference and details of their ADR scheme, we were told the position was "final" and "not open to reconsideration".
18 August. Their retention team emailed about our port request saying they "would hate to lose your business" and asking what they could do to keep us — apparently unaware their own manager had terminated us eight days earlier. That single email tells you more about the internal state of this company than anything I could write.
19 August. To be fair, they did release the number without charge and supplied the CUPID, having initially indicated we would need to pay for another month of service to keep it alive.
The refund arrived, and eventually so did cooperation on the port. But we lost our main business line for roughly three weeks over a disputed add-on, and it took a formal complaint citing Ofcom General Condition B3 and a UK GDPR subject access request to get movement.
If you are a sole trader and nothing goes wrong, you will probably be fine. If you run a business where inbound calls are the business, understand what you are buying: a provider whose default response to a billing query was to close the account, whose escalation path ends with a manager declaring the matter closed, and whose sales and support functions do not appear to talk to each other. Price is not the risk here. Continuity is.
We have ported to another provider.

This team are clearly well on top of their technology.
I am not technical but have received a huge amount of support for what would normally be very simple things with never a hint of frustration but only helpfulness
If only all my suppliers could be like this
I have no hesitation in recommending this company, not because of the technology but because of how it is made easy to use by anyone
Matthew from the Soho66 support team provides exceptional customer service. He genuinely treats your business as if it were his own, taking the time to understand the problem and going above and beyond to resolve it. If I could give him 7 stars, I absolutely would.👌
Amazing switch over from our previous VOIP provider whose customer service was atrocious. Soho66's Tech Team and Customer Service are UK based and you get to speak to someone straight away, who is committed to helping you - so refreshing.
More great service from SOHO66 this week. After a client made a stupid mistake, and lost phone service, SOHO66 got them back up and running within hours. Highly recommended.

I had an exceptional experience with a professional and compassionate representative of soho66 called Blain from the support team. I genuinely couldn’t fault the gentleman who assisted me, he was my rock and shinning armor. He remained on the phone for a full hour, patiently guiding me through every step, from setting up the app to activating my numbers and ensuring everything was in perfect order.
He was an absolute pleasure to deal with.
What truly stood out, beyond the excellent service, is the company itself. It’s clear they are a business with heart committed not only to delivering a valuable and honest service, but also to supporting charitable causes and those in need. It’s no wonder they have stood the test of time.
With compassionate leadership and a clear commitment to care, they set a high standard for customer service. I’m proud to see such an honourable British business making a meaningful difference while maintaining such professionalism.
Very well done — truly, the best.

Excellent Customer Service they are very responsive and helpful. You get through to someone very quickly and they all speak clearly. Whilst the telephone number was ported across to Soho66 I was kept informed every step of the way. They were very proactive. I would highly recommend them to anyone. A special thanks to Reece who helped me find a work around on a problem and direct the voicemail to my email address.

What made the support received special was the special support agent. He (Matthew) clearly knows his stuff on the issue I presented and from his general manner I think any other issue would be resolved in similar competent and friendly, patient, manner. He was not known to me before today's first call to Soho66 tech support, nor were Soho66 the company, known to me before yesterday, but I will remember both. Matthew was one of the most patient and helpful support agents I have had the pleasure of talking to, that from a person (me) who has needed tech support a lot over many years. It bodes well for Soho66 that they employ such people as Matthew to give help when needed and I assume he is not a lone warrior for Soho66 and will be long retained by them in whatever role. Many thanks Matthew and Soho66.

Once again, you chaps knocked it out of the park!
The support for setting up a remote app was superb.
Being an old codger and slow in the head due to ingesting recreational plants, Blain patiently walked me through the process to add the new line.
If you chaps ever go public and offer share options, or decide to sell, I would have no hesitation in investing in your company! Thank you, Blain
