Memorial is very good and so experienced in all help on bereavements. Thay have guided me throughout and been very good indeed.

I spoke with a lady called Karen who guided me through the whole process and asked me if I had any questions but I was satisfied with everything we discussed on the phone and there was no pressure to purchase. I was sent an email plus the paperwork was sent out by post. I was very impressed with the service I received and I would recommend Memoria to others.

Karen was very helpful and explained everything. She happily answered all our questions. Superb service.

After speaking with another funeral provider, we were offered a much later date, a more complicated process, and a significantly higher price. We decided to choose Memoria instead.

At first, I was a little unsure because everything was arranged by phone and email, with no physical office to visit. However, from the very first conversation, the team was professional, responsive, and genuinely caring.

A special thank you to Sam, who helped us get started, Nicki, who organised everything so efficiently, and Steve, our funeral director, who looked after us with such kindness and professionalism on the day.

Despite the tight timescales, they found us a beautiful church, arranged the burial we wanted, and organised a truly lovely service. Everything ran smoothly, and every detail was taken care of.

We are so grateful to the whole Memoria team for making such a difficult time easier. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a compassionate and professional funeral service.

Rhonda Muirhead is absolutely amazing, twice this lady as helped me, 1st was my late father I law, and then recently I lost my husband, and Rhonda was there for me from start to finish, she went above and beyond, thankyou so much , amazing company , I would highly recommend this company ❤️

The service from beginning to end was brilliant.Nicki our funeral arranger did everything for us and it takes away your stress at such a sad time.She explained everything step bt step and kept us updated on everything.The funeral directors they worked alongside White Rose in Barnsley were amazing too,they made everything seemless.Jane and her staff really looked after us and we gave our mum the send off she deserved.Would highly recommend.

Rhonda, Sam and the rest of the Memoria team were kind, friendly and helpful throughout. They made the whole process straightforward and were always available to answer any questions. I would happily recommend their services.

Terrible service from Sue Willis!
Unprofessional and added immense stress!
Very slack with information. We had to ask important (and obvious) questions that should have already been explained.
Claimed to have not received emails when everyone else who was copied in to the same email received it.
When we addressed this she came back with attitude and Failed to take accountability or apologise.
Very cold in her approach.
All while being very quick fingered when sending over her invoices!
The finale…the urn that we painstakingly picked wasn’t even sent to the crematorium. When we went to pick up our father he was presented to us in a cardboard box because Memoria had forgotten to send it!
The package deal states that, included is ‘Full professional care of the deceased’.
But be aware, that does not include, collecting the deceased clothes (we had to send) or dressing them. That, is an extra £100! But nowhere does it state this and it certainly wasn’t told to us by Sue. WE had to ask how we get his clothes to them. The first we knew about the cost was when, not even 10 minutes after the convention an invoice landed in our inbox.
We asked Sue about this and was told she DID explain all of this and gave us attitude.

It was straight to the point, which is what I wanted. Everything I wanted in one package, Gill the lady who helped me was lovely. And it didn't take long to complete either.
Highly recommended, no hidden surprises.

It was very easy to arrange my cremation. The gentleman on the phone (Shaun) made it very straightforward. He was helpful and answered all my questions.

I can’t fault the service so far. Booking my pre-paid funeral plans for my partner and I was quick and easy. Nice friendly service (Debra) and discount with each plan with one of the cheapest funeral service providers was a bonus.

Awful service from start to finish! Lack of communication and empathy from Sue Willis! They charged £100 to dress my father even though it clearly states care for the deceased in the package. Then when we went to collect his ashes he was presented to us in a cardboard box rather than the beautiful urn we had paid for because they forgot. Unacceptable snd quite frankly disgusting.

Every step was carried out by telephone and email. Each contact was caring, sympathetic and professional, especially Rhonda whom I had most contact with. The fact that she took time to email me a message of condolence on the date and time of the cremation was deeply touching. Thank you so much.
