Lemmo E+Bike Reviews 

After 3 years of using the Lemmo One (2500km), the buttons suddenly died and i can no longer use the electrical power. I opened a ticket but support is really slow and since i use it on a day to day basis, i will have to buy another e-bike. A bit sad, but no choice.
Only advice i can give : don't let it outside under rainy conditions, it seems the rain gets into the electronic part and kills it.

Ordering a Lemmo One Collab'ride was very easy, and delivery was on time.
I contacted support several times during assembly and setup, and received efficient responses within 24 hours. As for the bike itself, I'm thrilled! Finally, an electric bike that actually looks like a bike! Its light and stylish design surprises all other cyclists. I highly recommend it! Well done, Lemmo!

Test ride and booked a urban model in the Lemmo hub. Store staff well knowledges about everything and quite easy to find what I need. Expecting to collect my new bike next week.

Great bikes and reliable

I bought a Lemmo One mk. 2 Core back in June of 2026 and to this day, three months later, I'm still satisfied with my bike.

The bike arrives like an Ikea package and you still have to assemble the front wheel, adjust the steering wheel etc, but for my that just adds to the fun. The step-by-step videos are very helpful.

As a daily driver the bycicle feels sturdy and handles great, although I would recommend geting the suspension seat system for extra comfort as the core version doesn't offer any suspension at all.

With a fully charged smartpac I usually get about 75 km or three days in the first of the three cycling modi of cycling, which is fine for me. Of you're not using the bike, the battery does drain quite quickly though, due to the gps function.

Speaking of gps and locating your bike, the Lemmo app is a very smooth experience in which you can locate your bike, update it's firmware, record trips and share your bike with family members.

Little features such as the front lamp converting to a flashlight, the build-in bell and the braking lights make it a fun and playful bike.

Overall, I would recommend a Lemmo One to anyone who is interested in a sturdy, good price-to-quality-ratio bike for light sports activities or daily home-work trips.

The bike, the delivery, the momentum is there. All very nice. One missing point is no delivery to Luxembourg.

I purchased my MK2 in 2024 and after some delay on the delivery, I received it with a compensation from LEMMO. Up till now I’m very happy with my bike and receiving various complements on the look. I bought it for its lightweight construction and option of using it without the electrical support.
Up till now had some fun driving it for over 1300km 🫶

Great bike so far. Owned for a month, did hundreds of km already..

My main reason to go with this is the manual switch over, it is a great feature. Stylish, ride feel amazing, easy to use.

A couple of negatives:
1. The mudguard was received a little bend so it rubs the front tyre, easy fix.
2. Bluetooth connection opening the app sometime flaky.

I was a bit scared to order my Lemmo mk2 after reading quite some negative reviews about the bike, delivery time, service, etc.

I had the opposite experience.
Bike arrived within 10 days of ordering.
Battery was defect but they sent me a new one. Upon returning the defect one, works wonderfully now.

There was some condensation in my screen, but this disappeared. Support informed me if it would happen again they would send me a new one.

Response could be a little bit quicker, but they helped me every time.
Bike rides beautifully and is reliable.

Hope it stays like that. :)

After some initial problems with the delivery date LEMMO contacted me and immediately sent the bike. It arrived today and I was positively surprised! perfect packaging, a very intelligent and simple setup procedure with both printed manuals and videos, all the necessary tools and accessories nicely packed.

A first test ride convinced me that the LEMMO ZERO is a great eBike. And it's unbelievable how small it folds!

When I did not understand how the installation of the lights works LEMMO immediately sent me a short video.

Buying a Lemmo One has honestly been the worst purchase of my entire life. I regret not demanding a refund, but the company Lemmo misled me at every single point until I was backed into a corner.

​I think on the day my delivery was supposed to be sent, the delays started. Every time I emailed customer service, they told me "Just two more weeks." I wanted to refund my money every singe time, but because they kept promising it was just two weeks away, I decided to push through. It ended up taking another two months (and this was after the original 5 month delay).

They completely manipulated my financial decisions based several lies. If they were honest and told me the truth, I would have refunded immediately... And when the structural issues with the bike started to show, they hid behind their 14 day return policy.

​To make matters worse, during the shipping delays, they sent a mass email to a huge list of delayed customers and completely forgot to use BCC. They exposed everyone's private email addresses to each other! It was a massive data breach, and other customers were literally emailing me directly to ask how my experience was going.

​When the bike finally arrived, it had a defect right out of the box. In my very first week, the right foot pedal literally screwed itself off and fell off while I was riding, making me to step down, lose control, and damage the bike (and get a little hurt myself actually). They sent a replacement pedal, but there was another structural issue that never stopped, On a near-monthly basis, the actual left pedal would just slide off it's threads. Currently, the bike is sitting in a repair shop because the metal axle piece in the center is totally defective. Apparently the threading in the centre crank is loose and needs to be replaced or my pedal will never stay on.

​Before it was delivered, I explicitly asked support if the bike used generic parts, because I was worried about the company running poorly and not being able to get replacements later. They assured me everything was generic and could be fixed anywhere. That was another total lie. The bike shop told me the center mechanism is not genetic. When I reached out to Lemmo to fix it, they said no problem and shipped a part without even confirming with me what it was. It turned out to be a few random plastic pieces instead of the actual structural metal part I needed. To rub salt in the wound, they closed my support ticket the exact moment the package was delivered, completely shutting down the conversation before I could even verify the part.

​On top of the awful hardware and support, the software is an actual joke. If you unlock the bike digitally and start pedaling in a hurry before the bike completely boots up, the motor consistently doesn't work. I have to stop, pull over, lock it, and unlock it all over again just to get the motor to work. The Bluetooth connectivity is so flaky and locks me out so often that I had to install a normal physical lock Which completely defeats the purpose of buying a smart bike. There isn’t even a manual key override as a basic redundancy. If you change phones, you basically can't use the bike till the battery dies or you get the next one working. The built-in GPS is highly unreliable and barely works when you need it, the lock makes loud, obnoxious noises that draw unwanted attention, and to top it off, the bicycle actually unlocks itself when the battery dies. Who designs a security lock that stops locking when it loses power? (Although because it has no backup key system it's actually saved me from having a bricked bicycle for a few weeks when my phone broke). The front hydraulics also seem to always leak fluid whenever I try to do basic maintenance like changing the brake pads. And from other reviews I hear the Lemmo one goes through break pads fast apparently?

I truly feel scammed by Lemmo. They use scripted lies to keep my cash, willing to say anything to keep me from refunding, they leaked your personal contacts with others, and sold (in my case at least) a defective product riddled with software bugs.

I really think the bike rides nice when things are working. It's quiet, fast and light. But issues kept getting worse and worse. The first issue happened and I thought it's a corner case. I still had a few days to refund when the right pedal fell off. But I waited half a year for this bike. And it cost me over 2500 euros. I gave it a chance and more and more issues happens in a short time period and they just refused to refund me. Fell back to their 14 day policy.

Avoid this company at all costs.

I was always a bit against electric bikes.
I commute to work every day by bike and enjoy this light workout.
When my wife bought an electric bike, we’d ride into the city on weekends when the weather is nice—doable, but I usually end up renting a shared electric bike or something like that.
When it was time to replace my ''normal'' bike, I came across the LEMMO One. Perfect, I thought,
I can still ride “normally” to work and use the assistance when needed—and it’s affordable, too.
I ordered my LEMMO One MK2, with a folding lock, a bike bag, and a chain guard.
Due to the negative reviews on deliveries and support i was a bit scared.
Everything was delivered on time as promised, assembly was easy, connecting and set up went great.
I thought the bike bag they offered was from LEMMO, but unfortunately it wasn’t; returning it and getting a refund went fairly smoothly,
thanks to the LEMMO support team.
The bike itself is very beautiful! A prime example of product development, with great attention to even the smallest details. The bike rides, handles and brakes very good. It’s ideal for me because I still ride “hybrid” or without assistance a lot.
The assistance works great, too, although I sometimes get irregular support. Sometimes it seems like it’s not working, and then suddenly it is again.
The main downside for me is the range, i even get the impression that the battery loses power when not in use.
If I don’t use a fully charged battery for a week while commuting to work, it’s practically empty by the time I want to use the assistance on the weekend.
By midweek, the internal battery is already dead.
It’s a pitty that the bike can’t just be turned off… it has to be locked all the time, which I think uses more energy because of the GPS and so on.
When I park my bike in the garage, I’d like to be able to just turn it off.
Maybe an idea for future updates : )

Today, I visited the Lemmo store at Alexanderplatz and had the chance to test ride the bike. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and took the time to answer my questions and provide useful information.
I was pleasantly surprised by the bike itself: it rides very smoothly, is easy to use, and feels about as heavy as my current mechanical bike, which I really appreciate. What I especially like is how easy it is to switch between electric and manual mode, offering great flexibility depending on the situation.
Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I am seriously considering ordering one!

On the store experience itself based in berlin the representative was very patient and answering all my questions in detail.

After previous experiences with e-bikes it was a treat to ride the Lemmo. It was like riding an ordinarary bike, easy to maneuver, with the motor giving a gentle assist on hills, and in spite of ny age (80+) I have never needed more than assist level 1.
I have had some issues with being locked out from the bike, but got prompt help from support. It would have been far worse had it happened away from home, there I miss Vanmoof's solution with the possibility to unlock by entering a code with the buttons if the phone won't connect.
Apart from that I am very happy with my choice of bike!

After two months of riding the Lemmo One Urban ST, I am extremely satisfied with my choice. After some hesitation, I opted for the belt drive version and have no regrets. The riding experience is very smooth, quiet, and comfortable, and the design is also beautiful, making it a real pleasure to use in an urban environment, especially on the streets of Paris. On flat roads, I often ride without motor assistance, as the bike is light enough on its own, while the motor is particularly enjoyable and effective for climbing hills such as Rue de Belleville.
Lemmo’s support team was very responsive and helpful in addressing my questions, particularly regarding best practices to preserve battery life, such as powering it off when removed from the bike.
Finally, I would highly recommend Jour de Vélo (Bastille), who handled the ordering and assembly of the bike with great professionalism. Delivery delays were typical with Lemmo at the time, so having Jour de Vélo as an intermediary was very helpful. This situation now seems to have improved.

Review on purchase of Lemmo Mk2 Urban ST

My main requirement was for a bike that you can still ride properly when the battery dies

Overall very positive experience with Lemmo. You will find previous reviews about long delivery times, however I did not experience this. I bought mine on a discount prior to their new product launch, so I expect they were clearing models that they actually had on stock

My experiences in more detail:

Customer service & Delivery
I only reached out once to verify customer reviews on leadtimes. Their response was not immediate, but I did get a reply by chat in under 30 minutes. Once I placed my order, the bike and battery were listed separately with different estimated delivery times, even though at the order stage is simply gives a single estimation for the whole. However the bike was shipped earlier than estimated and upon delivery I found that the battery is actually inside the same box as the bike is – happy days

UNBOXING
When you receive the box you will immediately notice that it appears too small to fit a bike, and yes: some assembly is required (saddle, front wheel, pedals). There is a QR code on the outside you are advised to scan. I am happy I decided not be a smartypants and scanned the code. I highly advise that any recipient does the same as it leads to a very helpful video that explains step by step how to unbox and put the bike together.

The good stuff
When you unbox the bike, you will find it comes with stuff not listed on their webpage when you ordered. For one it contains all the tools you need to assemble the bike, including a complete bicycle pump with an in-built pressure gauge. Some reflectors were also included. To me this seemed like they really went for the ‘underpromise, overdeliver’ principle.

The other stuff
The guy in the video pulls the bike from the box in one smooth motion. I needed to take a knife to the box to get my bike out. My box had staples in it which I assume were not part of the original packaging design
The assembly video does not 100% align with the actions needed for this bike. I reckon it might have been made for the Mk1 and some details on the Mk2 may be different. Example: the toolbox has an inventory list that showed the front axle, and the video shows how to fit the front wheel with this axle. However there was no axle in the box as it was already fitted on the bike and needed to be removed first. However none of the differences were insurmountable and if you are half decent at DIY, you can figure it out quite easily

THE BIKE
The good stuff
Riding in general is very smooth so far. The brakes & gears work well and the front light has a good brightness. The integrated phone holder is brilliant. In combination with the battery you can even charge your phone whilst riding. I have done rides with someone riding a ‘regular’ electric bike and top speed is the same. I love riding this bike!

The other stuff
Removing the battery from the bike may take some practice. The battery also slowly drains when not riding so don’t charge it and expect it to be at 100% 3 days later. The loss rate on mine seems up to 10% a day.
In Holland all bikes have a circular lock attached to the frame that locks movement on the rear wheel. This lock will not fit on this bike. I did have a lock installed on the frame (where the bottle usually goes) and Lemmo has already made the holes for it, however the bolts included were not long enough to safely attach the lock I bought.
When you press both buttons on the handlebar the bike will lock invisibly. When you try and move it, an alarm should sound but I found that it does not sound the alarm consistently. Half the time I can carry the bike around without the alarm going off. Also, when locking/unlocking in this way, it also automatically turns the bike lights on.
The angle of the handlebar can be adjusted, however the height of the handlebar cannot. This was the only real minus for me as this is a standard feature on most bikes I’ve had over the years

THE APP
I like the app. It has all you would expect and the UI is clear and easy to use. You can connect the bike with Apple’s ‘Find my’, however the instructions are not included in the unboxing video. I ultimately found them through an internet search. However you do not really need to do this as the Lemmo app will perform the same function. Note that the app does not update in real time, meaning that your battery will show e.g. 80% in the app, but when you then get your bike and the phone connects to it, it will update and drop to e.g. 60%. The app can lock/unlock your bike as well.
Interestingly, when riding with the phone and app open, it still shows the ‘lock bike’ options even when you are riding the bike. I have to wonder what happens if I should accidentally swipe the phone and it tries to lock at 25km an hour. Understandably I did not test this.

Great bike & awesome experience!

I had a connecting issue with my Lemmo One and reached out to the support. They were very responsive and within days they were able to identify that the root cause was from the receiver which needed replacement. They took care of the logistics and i just had to pay for the part (very convenient). When i got the Bluetooth receiver i followed their video and instructions (very precise and easy to follow !!!) and my Lemmo was connecting and up and running! Thank you Lemmo team for the great support and feedback on this issue!

Awsome - I usually don't write reviews. Mostly because I am too busy and products don't really impress me too much. After looking for a light eBike for a while, I stumbled upon the Lemmo one Mk2. Some bad reviews regarding delivery times and service discouraged me at first and it took months to finally order the Urban version. Big surprise when it arrived after just 6 days and already the unboxing was a great experiance. Well protected and with many videos for clear instructions and easy assembly. The quality of the bike and its components is just amazing. Everything including the app is well thought out. I was worried the motor is a bit too weak, but not at all. Already at level 1 it pushes me along easily. Sure the battery range could be a bit better, but I guess the overweight driver is not helping and would be a problem for any eBike. Absolutly happy with the Lemmo and regret waiting so long to order it. It's just awsome!

I bought a lemmo zero and the bike is great. The delivery was very fast. Highly recommended
