Excellent service from Lathems Steel Doors! From start to finish, the whole purchasing experience was first-class. The quality of the doors is outstanding, the range is excellent, and the team were professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful throughout. Communication was great, everything was handled efficiently, and the attention to detail really stood out. I cannot praise the Customer Service Team at Latham's enough! From my initial inquiry to final delivery, they were incredibly helpful, responsive, and knowledgeable. They made the whole process completely stress-free. The steel security door itself is brilliantly built and solid. Outstanding company—will definitely be using them again!

Georgia in the Sales Team was a fantastic help from the initial enquiry, answering my many questions. Once i completed the order online, there was regular updates and she phoned to let me know that they also did black hinges to match everything else.

Delivery was quick, and again communication from them was excellent. Once the door arrived on site, Driver Lee was excellent.

He called to let me know roughly when he would be there, he unloaded it with care and took the time to talk me through what was in each package. He was a top guy 👏

Overall, a great buying experience and I’d most definitely recommend without hesitation.

So I first made the order on line and phoned to double check the order was correct. The lady said if I emailed the order over she would adjust prices as we are a trade customer….
The price came back more expensive. It was then adjusted again. I then called back because I wasn’t 100% sure what I had ordered was correct. I spoke to a diffrent lady on the phone that was great went through the quote piece by piece and we actually found incorrect discrepancies. We also added door closer. She said she would email this back to lady one for her update the quote. She then just sent the original quote back…. Anouther phone call another going through the quote… finally the quote arrives in my email box… again incorrect with only one set of closers on it. Anouther phone call… explain again what I want. I am assured the order is correct. Just a glitch on their system.
I then get through the order acknowledgement and asked to confirm….. still incorrect, anouther phone call. Resend the acknowledgement…… same as the previous. I then speek to a sales director that assures me it I ok the order is correct and that because of the problems we have had he would further adjust the prices…. He never came back to me and disappeared on holiday for the week.
Finally got the proforma through. Paid via the payment link provided….. then had a email saying I had paid the wrong amount. Explained I have no idea paid via the link on the invoice. Again passed to some one else that made excuses that their system was glitching. He agreed to honour the price we had paid.
Job done I thought…. Absolute not.
Two days later I then get an email saying the doors where not in stock and could they open the other way. So again I call back to agree that that would be fine… this was about two hours after the email was recieved by this time all the doors are now out of stock and the lead time will have to be pushed….
I then get passed to another guy. He agrees that this isn’t the best service and offers more of a discount. So I send him my bank details… he then goes on holiday without passing my details. Another phone call… resend my details to someone else. The next day I get a email asking for these details to be sent on headed paper. Yet anouther phone call to accounts and they agree as I have paid via there system no headed paper needed the payment has been processed.
By this point I’ve had enough and asked for a full refund. Finally they agree to this and agree that they can send it back same day as long as I send them an invoice so it covers them.
All in all this process took about 3 weeks!
3 weeks to order two double fire doors. Then have to be refunded and order elsewhere which took less than half an hour!
I will never ever again entertain using this company.
