Was not what I expected after all the Ads quoting positive results. App was a bit clunky, with no Offline access available. However, the refund process was straightforward and the monies I had paid we... See more

The app didn't seem to have much more than duolingo and that approach didn t work for me. Their "free trial" was short and ended up billing me $258 after 2 weeks. However, their support is prompt (within less than 24 hours and on a Saturday) and they refunded me the full amount. So, 3 stars for the app, and 5 stars for support.
Short lessons that are different enough to keep my attention and build upon one another. Speech recognition to help me pronounce the words.
The Sign In and Sign Up process was challenging. Nevertheless, Rose in customer service was timely and kindly helped me to proceed. Thank you Rose.
I really enjoy using this app to improve my German. I have improved significantly since interacting with the activities. It is well worth the subscription.
When I needed to contact customer service recently, they were extremely helpful and resolved my issue very quickly.
I would recommend Jumpspeak to anyone who wants to learn a language.
Carlo responded to my query right away...he was proactive in trying to help solve my issue and, although, he wasn't able to because I purchased the plan through Google, he went another step to provide how I should go about contacting Google directly.
Great customer service!
Signed up for Japanese. The app is so confusing. Seems really like Jumpspeak must be a total scam. Complete waste of money
Support team is the best! You can count on them to do a superb job for you which is important with any product you purchase, but this team is outstanding.
I found the process of signing up and paying for your program confusing and in some instances, I felt it was manipulating trying to get me to pay more in a confusing manner. I got charged $116 and then I was charged $178 when I had only approved $116. That is the bad news. The good news is I don’t think I’ve ever worked with any company who was quicker to respond and to fairly eliminate the extra charge. Outstanding customer service. You need to clean up the front end of your process. I am enjoying my learning experiences with Jumpspeak as I have taken Babbel in the past and never felt I was getting down line as quick as I am with Jumpspeak. Satisfied Customer, once you clean up the front end, it’s a five star rating.
I'm trying in vain to cancel my subscription. They are still trying to collect money from me in spite of me emailing them to cancel..
I highly recommend avoiding JumpSpeak. There are a lot of reviews and complaints like mine (which I unfortunately learned too late despite a lot of research).
The customer service is terrible, to put it mildly, and it is nearly impossible to get a real person on their chat assistance. Same for email contact. When I tried to get help through email and chat, the emails bounced back as undeliverable and the chatbot was useless. It claimed to be transferring me to a real person for assistance, but I am still waiting for a response. I have tried to cancel the subscriptions through the JumpSpeak website, but had no luck. I can't even find a page to do that. Searching the info only results in a "how-to" list of instructions that are useless to me because I can't sign in to the app (see below).
I signed up expecting a $309 charge for lifetime family access. Then, after my card was charged, there was a pop-up to get "unlimited AI" - because apparently you only get 30 minutes per month/7 minutes a day of AI interaction on the regular premium plan. Obviously 30 minutes a month interactive isn't enough for a family of four, so I clicked to add the unlimited AI interaction. The add-on page didn’t tell me that it was an entirely different subscription plan. The Unlimited AI does not come with the Lifetime subscription. It only comes with the monthly or annual subscription plan. So my card was charged again, this time for an annual subscription at a cost of $378 dollars. The total charge ended up at $684 and we hadn't even begin to use the program yet.
I can’t access the account to use it because I can’t login. I don’t have a password (there was no setup link) and entering my email to request a password results in an “invalid email” message.
I am waiting for the charges to complete so I can file a dispute with my credit card company (disputes are not allowed while charges are pending). Hopefully I will be able to get my money back.
Jumpspeak caught my attention with the idea I could have conversations with AI to practice listening and speaking at a high intermediate to low advanced level in Spanish. I thought I'd start with the Premium Package (lowest level) to check it out before potentially investing more $$s. The sign up took a ridiculous 20 minutes due to the constant upselling you must pass through to get to the end. And truthfully, it would seem that without buying the one or more of the rather pricey add-ons there is nothing special about Jumpspeak. The basic Premium Package is sequences of vocab lists, flash-card type activities, using vocab in a variety of settings - fill in the blank, translations etc, some videos, and way more reading & listening than speaking. In fact this level of membership gives only 7 minutes a day/60 minutes per month speaking with the AI. Not super helpful. Plus the quality of my interactions with the AI was not good enough to make me want to buy the higher package to get unlimited access. If you are a beginner and want to gain exposure to a language Jumpspeak probably as good as anything else out there. But it is definitely not the revolutionary use of AI for language learning and it is a long way from helping to deliver the conversational fluency that it claims. It could be perhaps but it's not there yet. Will be getting my money back. Hopefully that goes smoothly.
Jumpspeak does not recognize my email address, but has been billing me thru my credit card. I have been trying to cancel my subscription for months. I don't have the app, and it doesn't recognize me as a customer. I have tried to go thru the website and app. No go! I'm furious. I will NOT be recommending Jumpspeak to anyone. In fact, I will be going online to warn others about the lack of response and support. What should I do to get satisfaction?
I had a problem regarding a partial refund, but the support team were great at sorting it out — courteous and prompt. I have no problem in recommending the company.
In the main, my Jumpspeak experience has been and continues to be phenomenal. Although I’ve experienced minor, intermittent technical issues (speech recognition, pronounciation discrepancies), on the whole, it’s the best language app I’ve ever used. I love my morning French sessions. I’ve been practicing daily for over a year and shall continue to do so, even after I feel proficient enough to meet my objectives because it gives me such pleasure to continue learning and improving. The course components are expertly structured. They hold my attention. The topics are current, relevant, and useful. I’ve started thinking in French during the day, flexing my vocabulary internally. I recommend Jumpspeak unreservedly! Thank you. Merci beaucoup!
The lessons offer a library of vocabulary and context that are much wider than other apps I’ve tried. The role plays, especially, are challenging in a good way.
Jumpspeak has amazing customer service! I had questions and they went above and beyond to help me feel supported. Hannah and Prince saw me as a person and were easy to work with. I am looking forward to learning a new language or two!! I would recommend them without hesitation! Deane Gray
I had a refund issue come up and customer service knocked this out for me very quickly, in a friendly way and they even made me a very generous offer. The way I was treated makes me want to use their product even more. Thank you Jumpspeak! Great job!! 😃🙌🏾
Helped my daughter to improve conversation.very helpful customer service
I spent 390 days on Duolingo. I was really good at Duolingo after that. Jumpspeak seems to have a pretty advanced process because all of the various exercises are way more real world and due to the AI involvement, when I’m doing speaking exercises, even if I don’t quite do it the way that it is wanting me to do it it gets the sense of what I’m doing and mark it as correct! Well, that’s good because my answers were correct even if they weren’t exact. Also the variety of exercises when it comes to listening, live dialogue, and other things strike me much more as real world. Having been to Russia and having worked with a tutor, this is a great bridge.
