Lack of professionalism in their customer service.
I received a Cannondale e-MTB on 15th July. I had decided to pay extra fee for assembly and start-up service.
Upon arrival I quickly found out that the service has not been done:
Flat tyres (tubeless). (I found out on my first ride!)
Noisy front disc brake.
Problems with connecting the handle gear shifter
I have claimed money back for start-up fee an even sent them photos and videos of the problems. Problems like these would not have occurred if their service had been made.
Now, 3 weeks into the “discussion”, they ask me to go to another dealer to have them to do the same claim! And they have never commented on my forwarded documentation which was sent onward to another department.
This, they could have asked me to do in their first mail to me !!
And their mails keep ending in my unwanted email tray, as they send from different mailboxes.
I give up.
Conclusion: As I have also read other complaints on Trust Pilot about their on-line shop, I can only conclude that they lack of professionalism.
Supp. after answer from IBKBike:
Sadly, no comment on refund of my EU 60,- fee.

We are sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with your experience. We would nevertheless like to clarify some of the points mentioned in your review.
Regarding the tyres, bicycles cannot be shipped with the tyres fully inflated for transport and safety reasons. Therefore, it is normal that they may require inflation when the bike is received and before the first ride.
Regarding the front disc brake noise, this does not necessarily indicate a defect. Brake noise can be influenced by several factors, including the temperature of the disc and pads, humidity, pressure and the conditions in which the brakes are being used. Some noise during braking can therefore occur without there being a mechanical fault.
Regarding the Shimano gear shifter, as this was not operating correctly, we recommended that you visit an official Shimano distributor in your country so that they can assess the issue and manage the warranty procedure locally if necessary. We understand that this may not have been the solution you expected, but in these circumstances it is usually a much quicker and simpler option than having to pack the bicycle again and send it back to us. This would avoid additional work and inconvenience for you, as well as considerably reducing the time required to resolve the issue.
Regarding the different email addresses from which you received replies, this was because you contacted us through different communication channels, and each department or channel responded to your requests accordingly. We always try to respond to all enquiries received so that customers are not left without an answer.
We are sorry that you feel that your experience did not meet your expectations, but we hope that these explanations help clarify the situation and the solutions that were proposed.

Quick shipment, warranty works.
The bike arrived to finland from spain in one week. Very fast. There was a problem with the bike, but they handled the warranty claim and the manufacturer agreed to send a new part even I had tried to fix the problem myself and had probably voided the warranty.

Someone picks up the phone
There was a double issue with delivery; IBK received the product late which followed by further delays due to courier problem. It essentially took over 15 days for a stem to land and my doormat.
Other deliveries with IBK have been fine. The reason for the 5 star rating is that someone actually promptly picks up the phone and fixes the problem.

A great experience from Start to Finish
I was a little apprehensive buying a £4,000 bike from an unknown seller in Spain (I live in the UK). But there was no need. This company was very professional and helpful from start to finish. Eduardo and Iraitz were great. My bike, a Stumpjumper Pro Evo, arrived in perfect condition.

We have checked in our warehouse and the complete order has been shipped.
If you are missing any item, at the time of receipt of the order, it must be reviewed and recorded to the carrier to generate the issue, but we can not do anything if it is not done and no photos are sent and also signed as compliant on delivery.
Terrible and incompetent service and communication.
Eduardo and Rosy friendly and helpful? Folks, what are you writing about? Here's my real-life experience of ordering and communicating.
I ordered an S-Works helmet on 11.04.24. The date of receipt was 16.04.24. Shipping in Spain!
In fact, it was sent on 18.04.24. The sender made a mistake in the address, so on 19.04.24 I received a notification from the shipping company Seur about the error and the impossibility of delivery.
I reported this to the store, wrote both in chat and by mail, communication is very difficult, they did not respond to the duty, ended the chat on open questions, literally cut off communication.
As a result, on 24.04.24 they corrected the address.
As of 02.05.24, I have not received the package. It was impossible to establish her whereabouts, and she did not respond to letters and chat. A phone call was also unsuccessful.
On 03.05.24, I contacted Seur and found out that the tracking number had changed along with the address, which made it difficult to track.
I repeatedly asked Ibkbike to cancel the order and refund my money, but they ignored me and never apologized.
The result is 3 weeks of delivery in Spain. It's scary to imagine how long international shipping is.
Terrible service! I strongly do not recommend this store. Overpay a couple of euros and save yourself time and effort by avoiding dealing with incompetent people.

We ship hundreds of international orders per week without any problems and customers are satisfied. Service feedback confirms it.
It was shipped on the correct date, but there were problems in the transport, something that we cannot control.
Your phone number was not valid at delivery and did not allow us to contact you.
You did not accept the SEUR delivery and the goods must be received back at our facilities to proceed with the refund.
We hope to solve the incident soon and that you will be able to value again the service opinion.

Ordered a Specialized Tarmac SL7 bike from IBK. Everything goes OK the communication with Eduardo was without any problem, we changed emails each other a lot, if I should say only one negative thing, it was unable to reach them on phone only via email.
The ordering and shipping method to Hungary was first class, so I would buy again here without any question.

I Perfect Service
I spoke to the bike shop on line and over the phone, considering i am from the UK i was very impressed with how they went about dealing with me. I purchased a Levo SL and it turned up with 10 days and would defiantly recommend them to all. The price was right and the product perfect, they even swopped my brakes round prior to sending.
