Brilliant service. On time. Thorough. Beautifully done.

charged me full cleaning price for the cleaner being stuck at the door and waiting for 20min. (happy to pay a small fee for that but def. not the full price!)

I’m really happy with the service! Nahida was friendly, professional, punctual and worked quickly. Nahida did a lovely job, and I really appreciated how efficient and pleasant she was throughout. Would happily recommend her and look forward to using her services again!

​I booked a 4-hour clean through Housekeep to take the pressure off while preparing for visitors alongside managing medical needs and work. What was delivered was an absolute disaster.
The cleaner spent 4 hours in my home and somehow managed to make it dirtier than when she started.
​Severe lack of hygiene & basic care: Left the bathroom sink filled with filthy water (meaning dirty cloths were being reused without rinsing), leaving trails of clumpy dirt across surfaces and floors. Dirty water was splashed over doors, and dirty ring marks were left on countertops, furniture, and windowsills. Soil from a plant pot was left in the bathroom (I don't have a plant in my bathroom!), and the toilet wasn't cleaned.
​Safety & Hazard Issues: Left an unsealed bottle of bleach hanging open off a radiator.
​Appalling efficiency: Didn't empty basic kitchen or bedroom bins, left every light in the house burning, and crammed my vacuum cleaner far beyond capacity so it stopped suctioning—dragging dust and dirt off the windowsill directly onto the top of my sofa instead.
​Zero accountability: Customer service originally offered a meager 2-hour credit for a completely botched 4-hour job that actually added hours of cleaning to my workload.
​I could have achieved in 1 hour what this cleaner managed in 4. Do not rely on Housekeep if you need a dependable, hygienic, or professional service.

Great clean - everything looked clean and tidy, very happy with the service

Housekeep is super efficient and flexible. The app works well for managing bookings for all sorts of services. It's also easy to skip or pause regular services if needed. And I've always had good experiences with all of the cleaners.

Good customer service always happy to help and resolve any problems.

Very poor cleaning — disappointing and not worth the money

I recently booked a clean through Housekeep and was extremely disappointed with the standard of work. Afterwards, there were still black hairs and visible dirt on the carpeted stairs, which had clearly not been vacuumed properly, and dust remained throughout the areas that should have been cleaned.

For a service costing over £80, I expected basic tasks such as vacuuming and dusting to be carried out thoroughly. Instead, I was left having to deal with cleaning that I had already paid someone else to do.

I have photographs showing the poor standard and have raised a complaint. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Housekeep.

The handyman phoned when he was in the area, arrived within the 3 hour slot and was polite and friendly. He approached the job thoughtfully and worked with me to figure out the best site for my shoe racks. He tidied up and did a great job.

It’s hassle free; the app/website is very easy to use and you don’t have to deal with payment/transfer after each service as Housekeep does that automatically. I’ve used it to book cleaners and gardeners and had very good experiences with everyone so far.

Really happy with the cleaning. Everything was spotless and clearly done with care and attention to detail. Reliable, friendly and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend!

These cleaners sent by this company are not professional but people think cleaning is a simple job when, in fact, most who do the cleaning do not understand how to clean, how to brush, how to hoover, how to dust, how to even use chemicals and where to use them. There are no standards here; they stand there trying to understand how to mop the floor, squeeze and mop out loads and loads of water on the floor making it a slippery floor. Cleaning is a specialist skill job and this agency thinks that anyone can be a cleaner, but they are totally wrong! These cleaners that they send are not worth the minimum wage as they do such a bad job that the work has to be done again. At times these cleaners create more work and I bet their training programme is non-existent, and I bet the only experience these cleaners have is that they have cleaned in their own house in a substandard way. A cleaner needs to know how to clean before they can charge £25 per hour. It's a joke to even pay the incompetent people! The quality of staff is very poor.
