Sadly like so many other people, I was hooked by their misleading social media ads and scammed. Avoid this website and app like the plague. Dishonest company, preying on parents. Disgusting.

This app has been such a grounding tool for me. The courses and daily tasks are easy to follow, and the advice actually works in real life—not just in theory. I love how practical and encouraging ever... See more

Horrible experience

Horrible experience. Charged £60 for three PDFs. Would not refund when they then charged me again £36. I don’t even recall why I gave them my details but it sure wasn’t for this!!!

Would not recommend.

Completely dishonest scammers praying on good parents. They have a whole add on section where you get charged if you don’t read the fine print.

Edit* I read the terms and conditions and was able to get a full refund as a British resident. Don’t use anything, then go to their policies and screenshot it and send to support within 14 days of purchase.

I would not recommend this app

I would not recommend this app. The information is ridiculously simple and not helpful. I did NOT purchase a work book nor did I have access to a “workbook” yet I was charged 19.99 for one anyway. I told them this 3x and they refused to refund my money. Aside from the fact that they charged me for something I did not ask for, didn’t deliver said product, and refused to refund my money, the app is NOTHING like what it’s advertised to be. Don’t waste your time here. This is nothing but a money-grab and these people should be ashamed and embarrassed.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam - I signed up for the £4.99 subscription and they took £19.99 as well. I emailed to ask why I’d been charged extra and they said it was for a booklet - that I never signed up for. I asked for a refund in accordance with consumer rights, but was told I couldn’t have one.

Absolutely no way to cancel

Absolutely no way to cancel. I thought I signed up for some sort of workbook to read through on my own time, but was then charged $40. I went to their website and there was absolutely no way to log in or access your "subscription" or account or even the content. The app had a settings option, but no where on the app was there a way to manage your subscription or cancel anything. The cancellation and refund policy states:
1. Subscriptions Purchased Through Our Website

Kidology currently offers two subscription plans purchased directly through our website: a monthly plan, and a 3-month plan billed at a reduced rate. Both plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled.

1.1 Cancelling Your Subscription
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by emailing To avoid being charged for the next billing period, you must cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date.

Please be aware that your subscription does not cancel automatically if you delete the app. You must cancel your subscription before deleting the app, or your subscription will continue to renew and you will continue to be charged.

However, the provided options to cancel that are stated in their own documentation are not present in the app or on the website. It also looks like several people on here met the qualifications for a refund but were denied one automatically.
You have the right to be able to access tools to manage and cancel your subscription. These should be provided to customers in good faith, but are not.
Perhaps someone should have a lawyer look at their website and the documentation they provide...
So disgusted that I literally went through the sign up for this website just to let other tired hard working parents know what they are getting into.

Utterly shambolic

Utterly shambolic. I signed up for a weeks trial for £4.99, and the layout of the website is incredibly deceitful because without even consciously choosing to, I was charged £19.99 for a workbook I did NOT choose to purchase.
The website makes it beyond impossible to even attempt to cancel your subscription, I’ve had to go via their help email address. I am going to go to my bank to get my money back if this isn’t done urgently as this is a scam. Disgusting

Unclear extra charges

Downloaded the app and thought I was making a one of payment to use the app. Was charged extra for a book without even realising straight away. Not even started using the app yet and have been charged an extra £35.99 a month later.
There was no information that there was a subscription involved and have received no information about it.

What the other reviewers say is 100%…

What the other reviewers say is 100% true. Signed up for a report, one month later a subscription is taken off credit card. No options to manage a subscription or even check what you’re signed up for. An absolute scam

THIEVES!!!!! DO NOT PRESS CONTINUE!!!

After pulling the trigger on the original app purchase, the website takes you on to more add extras page you can purchase. This is where they steal your money!!!! the big button should say “purchase”,not “continue!” I thought I was continuing on to the course that I had just paid ,not” purchasing” more added extras that I didn’t want. The only reason I knew i received them was because my bank messaged me with two notifications. I paid the original subscription and then hit continue and continue and I’ve lost almost $60. I messaged them instantly politely explaining the mistake and they still cite there T&C’s for no refunds, but they are offering more stuff for free…. That I don’t want. They claim to want to help struggling parents on one hand, but refuse to help them out with the other. I haven’t even used the app yet!!!

This company is a scam

This company is a scam, using misleading ways to take money for AI crap. They do not require authorisation for purchases and refuse to refund. Responses to complaints were also AI generated. For a company claiming to help relationships and behaviour for parents it’s just rubbish.

I would not recommend this company…0 Stars

I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
There is no clear or convenient way to cancel a subscription through the app. I searched throughout the app before deleting it, and there was no option to cancel or even view my subscription status. I also checked my Apple subscriptions, and it wasn’t listed there, so I believed I had simply signed up for a one-month service and deleted the app.
Instead, I was charged another $40 on the day of the renewal, which is when I realized it had been an ongoing subscription. When I contacted customer support, they refused to issue a refund.
If there had been a clear way to view my account information and cancel my subscription within the app, I would not be in this situation. Making subscription details and cancellation options difficult to find creates unnecessary frustration for customers. Whether intentional or not, it gives the impression that the process is designed to make cancellations difficult, and I don’t believe that’s a good business practice.
I hope the company improves its transparency by making subscription status, billing information, and cancellation options easily accessible within the app so other customers don’t have the same experience.

This app has not honored their 30 day guarantee

This app has a 30 day guarantee. It was not beneficial for me. My daughter is 12 and this is geared toward younger children. I completed the required activities and still believe that this app does not benefit me. I have asked multiple times for a refund and I have not received the refund. Buyer beware because they don’t honor their guarantee.

Dishonest unauthorised payments

I signed up to a one week trial for $9.99 and was immediately charged that plus the full price of a subscription $27.99 before the trial was even close to ending. I’ve contacted their support email requesting a refund and received no response. Based on other reviews this is their modus operandi. Very dishonest. There appears to be no way I can cancel the subscription either. Beware!!!!!!
