recommend to everyone searching for a good propfirm that pays everytime

FTMO is hands down the most professional and transparent prop firm I’ve ever worked with. Their payouts are lightning fast, with no hidden clauses or shady excuses. Unlike other firms that pull out “risk team assessments” or invent restrictive rules just to avoid paying traders, FTMO keeps everything clear and fair.

I’ve explored countless prop firms, but everywhere else I run into unnecessary restrictions: consistency rules, minimum profitable days, risk-per-trade limits, floating drawdown traps… all designed to make payouts harder. FTMO is the only firm that truly respects traders and operates with integrity.

I’ve already reached the maximum allocation of 600K, and my sincere hope is that FTMO will raise the cap to 800K, 1M, or even 2M. That way, I wouldn’t need to look at other firms just to expand beyond the current limit.

FTMO is great and all with their payouts and customer service but their policy is not. I had expiernce mild slippages with my ftmo 1-step swing rewards account which is normal with from time to time if it’s just a few dollars. I’d risk anywhere between 0.5-.9% to account for such slippages and cap myself on lots depending on the product that I am trading to limit my size exposure. Respecting FTMO trading recommendations. unfortunately however, I have experienced agressive slippages as of recent in the sim trading environment which lead to the termination of my account exceeding my 0.8% initial risk per trade idea at the time that led to the termination of my account, exceeding the 3% daily loss limit in one singular trade. In other words my initial 0.8% risk turned into 3%, conveniently exceeding the DLL.

The lesson worth passing on that is super important if you plan become a prop trader with FTMO: Your stop loss is not guaranteed, even if it’s in the simulated environment. FTMO states this openly, but the practical consequence is that a fill you don’t control can end a funded account you spent weeks earning. There’s no recovery path other than buying a new evaluation and work your way back up.

Know that before you polish your risk around the published limits.
