I bought some of their Leather Care Balm for my boots. It works extremely well!

Great quality product, but delivery timelines could be clearer.

The Illusions Leather Briefcase arrived well-packaged and presented. The build quality, materials, and overall finish are excellent. Out of the box, the leather is a bit shinier than the matte finish shown online for this colour (Cognac Brown), but I expect it will dull down with use.

Note for buyers: Their London address appears to be a shared mailing address rather than a physical storefront, which is typical for online businesses.

Communication after ordering is minimal. You receive an order confirmation, and then nothing until the dispatch email and courier notification a couple of weeks later.

Frederic St James could improve their website's stock and delivery transparency. The generic "5 to 10 days" on the shipping page is vague; I suspect these might be made-to-order. This wasn't an issue for my personal use, but it could be risky if buying a gift with a tight deadline.

I didn't need customer support, so I cannot comment on that. I am rating this 4 stars instead of 5 purely due to the lack of clarity on stock and vague delivery times. Otherwise, I am very happy with the purchase. The price point for Italian leather is great, and I would buy from them again.

Bag arrived damaged and they wanted to charge extra for a repair cream that never arrived. Never use this company

Good communication and replied straight away when I had a query about delivery. Great website. Item delivered in time scale. Very well packaged. Product quality was excellent. Would use them again.

My order took me around 20 days to arrive. Looks like the order was prepared in a rush. Initially the FedEx asked me to pay custom duties, the time resistance (Frederic st James) paid it themselves. The bag had at least 4-5 visible scratches and wrinkles everywhere. The leather was not smooth. It does not look as in the pictures. I think they sent me a second hand bag. The bag quality is also not good. It's not better than £100 bags. I don't recommend this brand
