Agreed the designs and specification in February and paid in full. I’m still waiting for outstanding parts and have been constantly messed about with delays and different excuses.
I’ve now been told by a fitter that Fittingly may have closed down. Their website is currently under maintenance, I can’t get through to them by phone, and when I called Sharps (who own Fittingly), I was simply redirected back to Fittingly.
So what is actually going on? I’ve paid in full and just want my order completed. At this point, I’m seriously concerned about whether Fittingly is still operating and whether I’ll ever receive the outstanding parts.
Was told 2 days to complete job and only quarter of it done and was bodged. Won’t give me any compensation. Paid thousands for the job upfront and expect a 5star service but got a 1 star service wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone
There have clearly been big changes at Fittingly, and not for the better.
I first used them in 2022 and was very pleased with the results, but my recent experience has not been good.
Of 100 components ordered, 25 had edging strips which didn’t match the colour of the panel sides.
All components were replaced, but it took some time, two re-deliveries, and a fair bit of chasing up including hour long phone queues, causing weeks of delays.
The external panels, doors and drawer fronts on the 2022 units were high quality MDF, with rounded edges and no edging strips.
On the recent furniture the external components are lower quality particle board, which gives a lower quality feel. This type of material was only previously used for the carcasses.
The edging strips all have a small bead of excess adhesive which shows up against the dark blue material. It can be removed, but takes some time, and again gives a lower quality feel than the materials previously supplied by this company. The new more matt texture also shows marks, especially finger marks very readily, and the handles are less substantial.
So although the finished furniture is pretty solid, and all components are now correct, it doesn’t have the quality of the furniture from Fittingly I fitted four years ago.
It now also looks like it’s no longer possible to design the product yourself with their on line design tool, which is what I did for this furniture. That was a major plus for me.
There have clearly been major changes to process and product, and I’ll be looking elsewhere for my next fitted furniture.

Delivery and installation had been in the diary for almost a month, due for completion today.
On Monday, after everything was delivered and all the old cupboards etc. removed, they called to say the fitter couldn’t come on Tuesday.
They offered an alternative fitter who could only come on Thursday (tomorrow).
I made it clear that we had 25 people coming to our house at the weekend to celebrate a 30th birthday party, including a magician for the kids and outside caterers.
It couldn’t have been made any clearer that the shelves needed to be installed before the weekend. After all, every surface is temporarily filled with the stuff from the old cupboards and I’ve got a huge mountain of wood sat in my dining room.
I also have an 18 month old daughter who is fascinated by the flat packed items that have been stacked up like a jenga tower. I had already made childcare arrangements for Tuesday/Wednesday so she was out of the way, and then rushed childcare arrangements for Thursday/Friday so she was out of the way… again.
Fast forward to today, and guess what? Installation cancelled AGAIN. Next available installation is over the weekend which clearly won’t be happening. Nothing says 30th birthday like having a fitter in your house…?
I’ve now got someone coming on a bank holiday (?). I’ll believe that when I see it. Also nice to know our family of 4 will need to be somewhere else than at home on Monday.
Having read the reviews, it’s clear I’m not the only one. On the phone Jess said “we are struggling to get fitters”.
Ok, so why accept jobs when you clearly know you have a skill shortage? I’d rather you be honest and say it’ll take 4 months but it’ll be done right.
I now expect comprehensive compensation for this complete farce. Apparently this is something that can only be discussed “after completion”. When that is really is anyone’s guess. I have given an expected figure, but assume I’ll be insulted with a £20 gift card.
I am also sadly resolved to the fact that there will undoubtedly be missing / faulty parts of this order based on other reviews.

Let’s start with the positives… The end product looks good and we’re happy with how it looks – very stylish and is a great use of space. Additionally, the designer was really friendly and helpful, and listened to us and adapted designs to fit our needs.
Now with the negatives… The company only packages and protects the wardrobe doors, but does not package the rest of the parts. They say they do this for “environmental reasons” which seems like a bizarre policy as most of their products are wood-based and therefore they need to chop down trees anyway; plus, cardboard boxes can be recycled so I actually think they are trying to cut down on cost and using the environmental reason as an excuse. As most of the parts were not packaged, it meant that at least 8 parts were visibly damaged. As these parts were on random parts of the wardrobe, it meant that we could only build a small proportion of the wardrobe. Bearing in mind, this is a company that supposedly prides itself on quality and aesthetics, this was quite disappointing. However, we understood that sometimes these things happen and were willing to look past it.
We reported the damaged parts to Fittingly, and they said that they would get us replacements delivered (they never actually apologised for this mistake). Long story short, over the course of about 6 weeks, the company never rang us about an update and we had to ring them and stay on hold for up to an hour multiple times. There were several times where they said they promised they would ring us back later in day, but they never did. There were also times where they led us to believe that our parts would be delivered the next day, but they never came to fruition. We eventually spoke to Citizens Advice and they advised that our card company could get us a full refund because they company had not delivered their product within a reasonable of time. And guess what… Only after we threatened to get a full refund via our card company did Fittingly actually do something and they eventually gave us a delivery date for the replacement parts! So basically they only did something when they realised that they would lose money.
In sum, whilst the end product finally looks good. The customer services of this company is only good when they are trying to take your money. But once they have your money, they don’t really care and won’t really do anything to help you when they’ve made a mistake. We were extremely disappointed. You would maybe expect this from a cheap company, however you would not expect this from a company that markets itself as a mid-to-premium company.

Order number 64119…
The level of incompetence this company have displayed from the moment the product was delivered is beyond belief.
Manufacturing defects, no assembly instructions provided, missing items, items damaged in delivery, and ineffective customer support have led to months of ongoing problems with furniture still non functional. We used our own joiner and have had to bear all the costs resulting from fittingly’s issues and no one at the company can do anything about it.
It’s cheaper and better to source a local solution.

The contact with Fittingly has been good - design appointment and then follow up queries that have been resolved, albeit it with chasing needed a lot of the time. Their advice was really useful. Delivery was done on time and with care although we realised later that quite a few bits were missing. Lee, the fitter, was extremely impressive. Despite key components missing from the delivery, he went into his bag of tricks and managed to come up with a solution. He was inventive, skilled and thorough, extremely tidy, (even leaving hoover lines on the carpet!) and wiped every surface down. He then returned the following day with the missing components he was able to track down.

So I paid Fittingly the full balance on 30 April 2026. Got my delivery booked for 8 May 2026 and installation 11 May 2026. Two months, two weeks and 1 day later I'm waiting for them to cut quality check and arrange my 5th delivery, for a back panel which was cut too short.
I have opened a dispute with the bank to get my moneys back after giving Fittingly numerous opportunities to cancel the sale, refund my money and collect the units, only to be ignored and still receiving unfulfilled promises.
How much disappointment can you get from one company. I've waited 16 years for this office, saved up so I could buy it cash. I've had to cancel doctors and specialists appointments over the last two months cause I never know when they are actually going to produce and deliver the missing units for my office.
My fitter has had to drive up and down to my house over these 2 months 2 weeks and 1 day without payment and fuel out of pocket.
So if you are willing to pay a company all your money, have the patient of a saint and love disappointment , don't expect any customer service, have one person to sort the query (who doesn't even work for Fittingly but Sharps), which has been escalated so many times it belongs in the World Book of Records Fittingly is your company.

My order (#65157) was delivered on July 15th, but 2 pieces were missing. Because of that, the fitter could not install part of the bedroom wardrobes and I've been living with a partially dismounted wardrobe in our bedroom for over a month. All our clothes are piled elsewhere in the house. I have called customer support multiple times per week since and the response has always been "we've escalated the matter, please wait". This is NOT AN ACCEPTABLE SERVICE for a product I paid multiple thousands of pounds to get.

*update*: Fittingly is a SCAM - We have chased countless times and have received zero updates. FITTINGLY’s response below is fake too as nobody called Catherine ever called us or gave us an update. We’ll be taking all the right and legal steps until this matter is resolved.
Initial review:
Very disappointed with the quality and installation so far.
(Order: 65462)
Unfortunately, our experience with Fittingly has been extremely disappointing.
The problems started on the day the wardrobe materials were delivered, when the delivery team damaged our walls while bringing the panels into the property.
The installation began yesterday, and as soon as the carpenter started assembling the wardrobes, it became obvious that the materials supplied are not consistent. Panels that are supposed to match are visibly different from one another.
Some panels are a brighter white, while others have a duller tone. Some have a smooth finish, while others have a noticeably rougher texture. It genuinely looks as though the wardrobe has been manufactured using different materials or different batches, which is completely unacceptable for a bespoke fitted wardrobe. We have also noticed that some of the panels arrived with minor damage.
The inconsistency is so obvious that anyone looking at the finished wardrobe would notice it immediately. This is not the level of quality we expected, particularly given the price of a made-to-measure product.
We have contacted Fittingly directly and provided photographs of the issues. I sincerely hope they take responsibility, resolve the situation promptly, and demonstrate that they stand behind the quality of their products and workmanship. I will update this review once the matter has been resolved.

Impossible to get a refund after weeks of asking. We decided to go with a different provider and requested a refund of the deposit - it goes ignored, phone, email - multiple people - including their "dedicated" support inbox. It beggars belief this company can still process any orders when it can't process a simple refund.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, highly recommended. I had shopped around and not found anyone who could make what I wanted. I saw Fittingly advertised on Instagram and I was reassured when they said they are part of Sharps. From the first remote video call with Danyl he drew up the design I described and then the office team were great, but the star of the show was Simon who fitted the wardrobe to perfection! His attention to detail is outstanding and the finish is perfection in my eyes! A huge thank you to the whole team for making my dream wardrobe!

Partially complete installation.
The service from Fittingly is absolutely appalling.
We have 3 visits to date & have now been left with a partly completed office.
The fitter appeared to be very conscientious, he fitted what he could on the first visit & told us he would have to re-order a unit & worktops as they hadn't been made correctly.
They told me it would be about 3 weeks.
After 3 weeks, I started chasing, it seemed nothing had been done about making the replacements, I was told they needed to contact the fitter to find out what was required.
When eventually the replacements were delivered, they delivered a 2.7m heavy work top with one driver, I had to help the driver lift the worktop into the area it was to be fitted.
Again, we waited weeks for a fitter to turn up, he was supposed to come one Sunday & made an excuse that his drive was blocked by a Fire tender because his neighbours house had caught fire. I accepted this at the time, but now think it was just one of the many excuses to not return.
When he did return, it transpired that the new unit had been made wrong again!. He had to invert it & make it fit.
He then said he didn't bring the tools to cut the worktop. How can someone possibly attend a job to fit an office without all the tools needed to do so.
We then had a visit from someone from the sister company Sharp.
He said the worktops still hadn't been made correctly & they would need to be re-made.
Despite ringing the office countless times & writing to a Director threatening legal action, we are still left with a partially fitted Office.
the company are an absolute shambles.

Straightforward process, high quality affordable furniture. Ivelin Tsarovski was a very professional diligent carpenter, I highly recommend him.

Delighted with the service recieved from Fittingly. The guy installing arrived promtly and the finished look in lovely.
Jonathan Ashby (Acc.no 3D1153) arrived exactly on time and got straight to work. He was incredibly polite, professional, and kind. We were pleasantly surprised by how efficiently he completed the entire installation by himself without causing any disruption. The fitted wardrobe looks amazing and is exactly as planned. Fantastic job!

I chose Fittingly because they market themselves as a premium bespoke wardrobe company. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.
Our wardrobes were installed months ago, yet the project is still not complete due to repeated manufacturing mistakes and what appears to be a complete lack of quality control.
The most frustrating issue is that the factory has now manufactured the same incorrect replacement part three times. The shelf beside my bed has two exposed sides. The fitter specifically requested a replacement shelf with finished edging on both visible sides, but the factory repeatedly sent exactly the same shelf with only one finished edge. It is astonishing that such a simple and clearly documented mistake has been repeated three times.
Every failed visit has caused significant disruption. We have taken time off work, woken up early, emptied our entire wardrobe several times and prepared the room for installation, only for the fitter to discover that the replacement parts were wrong yet again. During the latest visit, part of the bedroom furniture was dismantled before it became clear that the new parts could not even be fitted, leaving our bedroom partially disassembled.
There are also several other issues that remain unresolved. Some exposed edges are still poorly finished, and the wardrobe doors have visibly different sheens, with some doors noticeably shinier than others, making it obvious that they do not match. These issues have been raised repeatedly but remain unresolved.
The fitters themselves have been polite and professional throughout. My frustration is not with them, but with the manufacturing process and the apparent lack of quality control. They are repeatedly being sent incorrect parts, making it impossible for them to complete the job.
I was also promised that a Fittingly representative would visit my home to inspect the outstanding issues personally. Despite that promise, nobody attended.
Mistakes can happen in any business. However, repeating the same manufacturing error three times, while requiring customers to repeatedly empty wardrobes, take time off work and live with an unfinished installation for months, goes far beyond an isolated mistake.
At the time of writing, the project is still incomplete.
If Fittingly eventually resolves every issue to the standard originally promised, I will happily update this review. Until then, I cannot recommend the company based on my experience.

We chose Fittingly expecting a premium, made-to-measure service. Unfortunately, our experience has been the complete opposite.
From the outset, we were given incorrect information about the installation. We were told the loft and media wall would each take one day to fit, so the loft fitting was booked for 3rd June and the media wall for 4th June.
The fitter then arrived two days late, on 5th June, and we discovered the loft alone actually required two full days.
The loft installation couldn’t be completed because no doors had been manufactured for the sloped section of the wardrobe, the remaining doors were the wrong size, and one of the side panels arrived damaged.
Despite these issues relating only to the loft, the media wall installation was delayed by several weeks. It was only after repeatedly challenging why two completely separate installations were being linked together that Fittingly agreed to fit the media wall separately.
Unfortunately, history repeated itself.
The fitter attended on 25th and 26th June but could only complete around 25% of the media wall because it had also been measured incorrectly. Three of the four main panels had been manufactured too short and don’t reach from the worktop to the ceiling. Several internal panels were also the wrong size, meaning everything now has to be remanufactured, resulting in yet more weeks of delay.
What should have been an exciting home improvement has turned into months of disruption. We’ve repeatedly rearranged work schedules, family commitments and social plans, only to be met with delays, poor communication, incorrect measurements and damaged or missing parts.
To make matters worse, we now have family staying with us, more guests arriving next week and a house party planned, all while our living room contains a media wall that’s only 25% complete, with large panels stacked in the corner waiting for replacements to be manufactured.
The most concerning part is that the same measuring errors have happened on two completely separate installations. This suggests a much wider issue with Fittingly’s surveying and quality assurance process.
Overall, this has been one of the most frustrating customer experiences we’ve ever had.

Our experience has been abysmal. Originally, our wardrobe was ordered and paid in full in July 2025. It is still not done, even after four fitter visits and multiple deliveries of new parts. The service is terrible and not what I would have expected at this price. I demand a refund to compensate for the time and aggravation and allow me to replace the wardrobe with what should have been installed last year.

From start to finish of our order we were kept informed of each stage and all the departments involved could not have been more helpful.
When it came to the fitting, the fitter, John Harvey, was extremely helpful and did an excellent job.
