DRAKE SOFTWARE (telephone) employees curse at you!!!! (not a good look guys) ...Their customer service dept is the worst in the industry.... Having a painful (user) experience with this company. I am a first time DRAKE user and find them extremely rude, unprofessional. A bunch of 'hicks' from North Carolina.... I am trying to get them to refund my money on a prior DRAKE software package that I never used - but I know that is impossible. Better route for me is to write that off as a bad debt expense and then I have to turn around and purchase a new tax online DRAKE tax preparation program based on my actual business needs - the prior DRAKE software package -> my cost $733/per tax return ... ouch!!! a little expensive guys! I will stick with them for now - IRS tax return deadlines are approaching - but they are for sure a bunch of thieves and bandits! Be careful, they bite! .....Smile :) Robert +30 yrs in the tax business....

I have been using Drake Software for…
I have been using Drake Software for 17+ years and this is the worst support team I have ever seen.
The Securefilepro portal team/ Refund Department also does not issue credits for billing errors that are associated with open IT tickets issues.
This is the first year I am really considering leaving Drake due to the merger that occured and these people do not care about the customers.
They only care about inurement and that is sad to say. I always recommend Drake Software to others but I will no longer do that.
I am very unsatisfied with the pricing, support, refund and accounting department.
I loved Drake before this merger they really took care of us in the best way. I can no longer say that!
The 2 star is for the software itself , thats the only thing they have going but I pray for you if assistance is needed.

Great software
Great software. Customer service used to answer the phone faster like under 2 minutes. Now the customer call sets on hold for 20 to 45 minutes.

I like Drake software with some exceptions
I found the ordering process frustrating with the payment system changing the credit card information to a card number I did not recognize. I was successful by exiting the website and logging in again and turning off the credit card autofill feature.

THIS IS MY FIRST YEAR USING DRAKE SOFTWARE AFTER USING PROSERIES FOR 25 YEARS. THE PRICE IS RIGHT BUT CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS TERRIBLE. THEIR RESPONSE TIME IS GOOD BUT THEIR SUPPORT STAFF IS COMPLETELY UNKNOWLEDGABLE. THE BILLING SIDE OF THE PROGRAM IS VERY UNUSER FRIENDLY. NEGOTIATING STATES' DATA ENTRY WITH FEDERAL DATA ENTRY IS A NIGHTMARE. THERE ARE JUST TOO MANY PROBLEMS WITH THIS PROGRAM.

THE AMOUNT THAT WAS CHARGED WAS INCORRECT I APPLIED FOR THE PRIOR YEAR PLAN AND SAVE THE $300 FOR THE EARLY MAY 31 RENEWAL. BECAUSE IT WAS TOO LATE (ACTUALLY 11:30 PM) THE ACTUAL AMOUNT CHARGED $3,844.00 IS TOO MUCH; I WAS EXPECTING THE REGULAR UNLIMITED PLAN WHICH WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AROUND 2,880.00...I'D LIKE THIS MISTAKE TO BE CORRECTED SO THAT I GET BACK THE EXCESS AMOUNT CHARGED TO MY CCARD. Software is good however last 3 years customer service is spotty to the point it’s almost non existent The drake response to my review proves my point. They replied a response that has nothing to do with my post.

I have used Drake software for 15…
I have used Drake software for 15 years. The 2025 Drake software had so many errors! I had to verify almost 200 Utah returns and amend 100 Utah returns! That is absolutely unacceptable! All of the time I spend verifying, amending and notifying clients about their returns and I was told I would not receive any compensation for Drake's errors!
