Can't go back to free plan
Overall, Dinero has been really helpful doing my taxes and Moms.
I paid for Starter+ for a few years while I had a monthly income via my own business.
Now that I have no more freelance income, I cancelled my subscription because 3k a year is a significant expense.
I now learned that I can't go back to the free plan because my income at one point passed the 100k treshold (and obv can't access my regnskab anymore):
"Når din virksomhed én gang har haft en omsætning over 100.000 kr. ekskl. moms, kan du ikke komme tilbage til vores gratis Dinero Starter – også selvom omsætningen falder til nul."
Really annoying practise.

We understand that this can be frustrating, especially when your business situation has changed.
You are correct that once a business has exceeded the DKK 100,000 turnover limit, it is no longer possible to return to our free Dinero Starter plan – even if the turnover later decreases or the business is no longer generating income.
We appreciate that this may not be the ideal solution in your current situation, but the turnover limit is a fixed condition for our free plan and applies to all Dinero accounts.
We’re glad to hear that Dinero has otherwise been helpful with your accounting, VAT and taxes over the years.

I’ve received a great deal of support from Dinero with my startup’s accounting. Despite having no prior experience, I’ve been able to manage all the bookkeeping myself. The support team is friendly and quick to respond. Recently, I had a very positive experience working with Jonathan. He was professional, responsive, and clearly knowledgeable. It works, but can be better
Overall, Dinero is a way to organise your accounting.... if you know what you're doing. Dinero system is basically "do it yourself and we'll guide you" which means that you're always dependant on their accountants to guide you via a chat every single time, which makes communication harder (and even more when you're not a native danish speaker). That also means that in order for them to give you a somewhat proper guidance you need to pay an annual suscription, but you are still responsible for doing all the work, and most of the times they send you a link to follow the guidelines (even you're in a paid suscription, and i'd expect a little more involvement at this point).
In any case, the system facilitates some things, but could be better in others. Their accountants are patient and kind, so there's nothing to say against them. I was helped by Jonathan and he has been a true legend, despite my stubbornness to assimilate anything related to accounting. Thanks to him for a really good service.
(But the platform and the services provided could improve)
