Nobody checked this guitar before sending it, it was so badly set up it was unplayable. Yes, I expect a little work on every guitar from new of course, but this was absolutely the worst thing to have left any factory.

Luckily, I have the correct tools and skills to get this as close to good as I can.

I never got the items I ordered and I lost the money I paid for them, it was not clear that they will arrive very late and get stuck at the border.

The product meets the expectations of a beginner guitar player who is starting to experiment with different sounds.
The only negative note about the experience is that the product does not include batteries, nor power cable nor power adapter. Luckily it works with a USB cable that I happen to have, but it is not a good experience.

Jag skickade in två välpacketerade Yamaha-skolflöjter i gott skick. Instrumenten hade dessutom kontrollerats av en sakkunnig tidigare under året.

Efter en tids tystnad fick jag ett mejl med en betalningslänk. Då visade det sig att Gear4music hade skickat mina flöjter från Sverige till England. Eftersom deras expert ansåg att instrumenten inte motsvarade det skick som angivits, nekades inbytet.

För att få tillbaka mina egna instrument måste jag nu betala 443 kr + 443 kr i returfrakt. Den ursprungliga frakten till Gear4music kostade endast 47 kr + 47 kr. Totalt innebär detta en kostnad på omkring 1 000 kr, utan att något inbyte genomförts.

As a Platinum VIP member and logged-in Gear4music customer, I decided to try their used instrument trade-in service.

I carefully packed and sent two Yamaha school recorders that were in good condition. Both instruments had also been inspected by a qualified expert earlier this year.

After a period of silence, I received an email containing a payment link. I then discovered that Gear4music had shipped my recorders from Sweden to England. Because their expert concluded that the instruments did not match the stated condition, the trade-in was rejected.

To have my own instruments returned, I am now required to pay SEK 443 + SEK 443 in return shipping charges. The original shipping cost to Gear4music was only SEK 47 + SEK 47. This means a total cost of around SEK 1,000, even though no trade-in was completed.

Gear4music — what can I say? Outstanding.
Ever since discovering this site a few years ago, it’s become my go‑to place for all my studio equipment. They offer a huge range of products, catering for everyone from beginners on a budget right up to musicians looking for high‑end professional gear.
(I’ll admit, I even enjoy a bit of window shopping and drooling over what I might buy next.)

Another thing worth mentioning is just how massive their selection is. Music‑gear sites aren’t exactly plentiful these days, and many of the ones that do exist have pretty limited stock. Gear4music, on the other hand, has an enormous range, whatever you’re after, from niche accessories to full studio setups, they almost always have it. It’s rare to find a music retailer with this much choice under one roof.

The website itself is great to use , the GUI is clean, simple, and easy to navigate. Items are well presented, with clear photos, descriptions, and specs, which makes browsing and comparing products really straightforward. It’s one of the reasons I keep coming back,the whole shopping experience just feels smooth and user‑friendly.

In terms of value for money, Gear4music has always been competitive with other outlets, and quite often cheaper. For the range and quality they offer, the pricing feels fair, and I’ve regularly found better deals here than on other music‑gear sites.

When it comes to delivery, I’ve ordered a lot from Gear4music over the years. I’ve had one or two minor issues, but considering how many items I’ve bought, that’s hardly surprising , couriers can be a nightmare at times. I don’t let that reflect on Gear4music though, because they’ve always dispatched quickly, packaged items well, and done their part. Any hiccups have been rare and usually down to the courier rather than the company.

Today was the first time in all these years that I’ve had to make a return, and the process was quick and easy. The person I spoke to on the phone was clear, efficient, and helpful. The return hasn’t been completed yet, so I can’t comment on the final outcome, but based on past experience I have full confidence it will be handled properly.

The item is being collected by courier, and because I’ve had it for more than six months I had to pay a £10 return fee , which I think is fair. Overall, the return process so far has been smooth, and I’m perfectly happy with how it’s been handled up to this point.

All in all, Gear4music has consistently delivered great service, great prices, and a huge selection. They’ve been my first choice for years, and based on everything so far, they’ll continue to be.

I bought two expencie PA subwoofers over 2 months ago and i have still not recived my order. And after talking with them on the phone they havent even sent it and have no plan on doing so

Fastest delivery that I have ever experienced. From the time That I placed the order. Less than 24 hours later it was delivered to me in Jämtland. I bought the subzero mp8 (to use as a Bluetooth speaker, not for busking ), looks and sounds good. Worth the money!
