Joseph, the ceo for our trip was exceptional, looked after our every need. What an experience it was, the safaris were emotional seeing all the animals in their own environment. Couldn't thank the team enough Joseph, Rueban our driver, did their best to get us to the animals we would love to see . The Voi wildlife hotel was in the most amazing setting with a couple of watering holes drawing in all the wildlife .

I enjoyed the Alaska Kenai & Denali Adventure tour overall. The itinerary was excellent, the scenery was breathtaking, and experiences like the Kenai Fjords cruise made this a memorable trip. The tour was well organized, and Alaska is an incredible destination.

The reason I’m not giving five stars is the accommodation. As a 39-year-old solo traveler, I was paired with an 82-year-old roommate for the entire trip. Sharing a room is expected if you don’t purchase the single supplement, but this pairing had a significant impact on my vacation. My roommate snored, talked in her sleep, drank wine in our room every evening, and on the final night became so intoxicated that she was unconscious.

My biggest concern is that solo travelers have to pay more than half the cost of the tour just to have a private room. That is a very expensive premium, leaving solo travelers with two difficult choices: pay a substantial extra amount or take the risk of being matched with an incompatible roommate. In my case, that risk became a major negative part of an otherwise wonderful trip.

I also believe there is room for improvement in creating a more inclusive atmosphere for all travelers and in the roommate matching process.

I would travel with G Adventures again because the itinerary and destinations were excellent. However, I hope the company reviews both its roommate matching process and the pricing of the single supplement. Until then, my advice to solo travelers is to think carefully before booking shared accommodation, as your roommate can have a significant impact on your overall experience.

The CEO (primary tour guide) was fantastic.
However, the itinerary could be improved. There were too many back-to-back free days (with optional activities instead of included activities).
The homestay (without electricity and AC) is not my cup of tea. Nevertheless, the tour was good overall.

Best CEO ever, perfect mix of culture/beach/city

Ecuador, Peru & Bolivia for 35 days! What an incredible experience, the perfect trip for any outdoor lover or adrenaline junkie. Memories made with new friends for a lifetime. I couldn't recommend this trip more, full of rich culture and physical activities. I am going to miss the friends I made and the places I visited so very much 🫶

Had a great time during my Central America Tour with G-Adventures. The trip was well organized, we had a great tour leader in Luis, comfortable transportation and accommodations. Meet wonderful people from around the world. Lots of fun activities and beach days. Am so glad I took this adventure.

I recently completed G Adventures' Morocco tour as a solo female traveler, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation I had. From the moment the tour began until the day it ended, everything was incredibly well organized. Transportation was always on time, the vehicle was clean and comfortable, and every logistical detail was handled so smoothly that I never once had to worry about delays, breakdowns, or anything that made me feel uncomfortable or lose confidence in the trip.

What truly made this experience exceptional was our CEO (guide), Youssef. He is, without question, the best tour guide I have ever had. His passion for Morocco was contagious, and he genuinely cared about every person in our group. He went far beyond simply leading a tour—he became a mentor, a protector, and a friend. He made sure we understood local customs, helped us avoid tourist traps by explaining fair taxi fares and market prices, recommended amazing restaurants, organized incredible local guides in each city, and even introduced us to authentic experiences that allowed us to experience the real Morocco. After the tour ended, he even followed up to make sure everyone arrived home safely. That level of care is incredibly rare, and it made me feel like I wasn't just another customer.

As a solo female traveler visiting Morocco for the first time, safety was one of my biggest concerns. Thanks to G Adventures and Youssef, I felt safe, supported, and welcomed throughout the entire journey. I was able to experience Morocco's culture through local guides, meet wonderful people, and see places I never would have found on my own—all without the stress of planning every detail.

Morocco is one of the most beautiful and welcoming countries I have ever visited, and G Adventures made it easy to experience it in an authentic and meaningful way. I came home with incredible memories, new friendships, and a much deeper appreciation for the country and its people. This wasn't just another vacation—it was a life-changing experience that gave me the confidence to continue exploring the world on my own. I would not hesitate to travel with G Adventures again and highly recommend them to anyone considering a trip to Morocco.

Our guide Mai did a great job of keeping the group focused, motivated, and safe while we all enjoyed the amazing mountains on the very challenging Mont Blanc trails. She also did a great job of getting us set up at each refuge, and was really helpful with any issues that came up either on or off the trail.

Great trip, felt very safe and there were loads of optional activities and we got to see a lot of beautiful Costa Rica! However it was very expensive and there were almost no meals/ activities included which was not clear on the website.

Our trip to Japan with the adventures is one of the best trips we have ever had! Our guide was heartfelt, organized, and went above and beyond to make sure that all of us had a true experience in Japan and the countries culture. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone was taken care of now that it was wonderful traveling with such a small group. I feel like I’ve made friends for life. I highly recommend using G Adventures for your vacation.

Overall, this was an amazing trip and a fantastic introduction to some of Scotland's most famous places. The itinerary provided a great flavour of the country and I left wanting to come back and explore even more (we also lucked out with the weather). Isle of Skye was the standout for me. The scenery, hiking and fresh Highland air were incredible. I easily could have spent another day or two there. Glasgow was a pleasant surprise. It's a vibrant city that I wish we'd had more time to explore. Our guide Charly was lovely, knowledgeable and engaging.

I love the way these travel packs are put together. Its my first time traveling with any kind of travel agency and i was to be honest stressed that it would be to much and no free time and space to breathe, and i would just kind of burn out. I am on my 2/3 g tour and both have been outstanding great so far. The tour guides are so great to travel with, i love how they manage such a wide range of people in one group and make it work. You get to do everything fun in great amount of time and also have time to breathe and be on your own. Just the perfect balance. Where we stay and where we eat is also just so great every hotel and hostel have just been great and based on the price im surprised that im not sleeping in a hut every night🙏🏻🥰. And the most brilliant thing about travelling like this and travelling with G is the freedom of just being able to enjoy and not have a worry about ANYTHING you know your hotel/hostels are safe, you know the food you eat is safe you know the area and activities is not a scam and safe and not having to worry about figuring out transport from place to place every day is just alone worth every penny. The way G goes about everything is just so great, you can see through the guides and people that work here that they have this deep love and understanding for their countries and cultures, they make sure that we as tourists are not being invasive and that we learn from each-other and respect the people and the culture. I truthfully have nothing bad to say and I recommend booking with G to anyone that wants to travel the right way!

My first G Adventures trip, and my first time truly travelling solo-ish, was something I was genuinely apprehensive about. The thought of spending nearly two weeks with people I’d never met was daunting, but it turned into one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve ever had. China has amazed me in so many ways—from its history and culture to its breathtaking landscapes—but what made this trip truly special were the people I shared it with. I’ve come home with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and a newfound confidence. A once-in-a-lifetime adventure that I’ll always be grateful for.

Great itinerary - the perfect tour for a total, all-round Peru experience. Great Guide who was well-organized and completely attentive to individual needs (e.g., my wife is gluten sensitive). Everything went as well or better than expected. We are so glad we chose GAdventures for this trip!

My husband and I recently returned from an amazing holiday with G Adventures.
We opted for the Basic Central America tour which starts in Antigua, Guatemala and includes Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.
The travel consisted of travel by mini bus and boat to the various destinations and there were 9 people in our group from all over the world and ages ranged from 19 to 64.
The tour lead, Jorge Montero, was amazing. He is clearly passionate about travel and so knowledgeable of the countries we visited. Jorge went out of his way to make every border crossing smooth and hassle free, ensuring we all had the correct documentation and payment .
The accommodation was basic, by European standards, but always clean and the majority had air conditioning which is a luxury for many in Central America.
We felt safe at all times and have some fantastic memories of the many trips we went on, from climbing a volcano in Nicaragua and sliding down on a wooden board, to walking along hanging bridges in the cloud forest canopy in Costa Rica.
Everyone on the tour got on and there were no issues at all . Jorge often booked reservations at restaurants he recommended, and most evenings we all ate together.
I really didn’t want the tour to end and felt very emotional saying goodbye to everyone. I will not hesitate to book other tours with G Adventures and hope other tour guides can live up to Jorge’s outstanding professionalism.
