Excellent as usual thank you

Delivered quickly and packaged with care. So far, lasagne is my favourite, fish pie and coq au vin are OK. Still to try tarragon chicken. I will try others on offer soo

The foods that I have tried I have enjoyed more than any other frozen meals I have ever had. I am 80 and a retired butcher so I appreciate quality and you are quality. Your cottage pie and your beef bourginion are out of this world!. I wish that the portions were a bit more generous and that you didn’t use palm oil in your pastry, but apart from that I wish you every success. You are my go to company for my dinners from now on.

Third time ordering and as usual great quality especially the Thai Green chicken. These meals take a bit of the strain off as I usually cook all meals from scratch and can't always be bothered as I am 80 years old looking after a disabled wife.

No preservatives, home cooked ready meals… good portion size and delicious!

Always delicious, arrives when expected and is just all round efficient. I keep my freezer stocked up at all times.

Every meal we've tried has been delicious! Better than anything from 'cook' or 'charlie bigham' which were our usual go to for a break from cooking. I think we'll have Ruby in our freezer forever more. Well done for creating such yummy meals. X

I signed up as a new customer after selecting a delivery date of 2 September, as I was out of the country until the end of the month. Shortly after ordering, I received notification that the parcel was already being processed for delivery on 27 August instead.

I contacted customer services immediately to explain the issue. ByRuby stated that their system showed a 27 August delivery date and that the parcel had already been handed to DPD. Unfortunately, DPD did not allow me to redirect the parcel to another address, and the only option available was to delay delivery by one day.

The most frustrating part was that ByRuby subsequently confirmed that, because the box contained frozen food and would now be held in transit overnight, it would no longer be suitable for consumption and would need to be discarded. In other words, £65 worth of food was knowingly going to waste, yet the only solution offered was a 20% discount code for a future order. A discount code lower than those you can find elsewhere, easily.

I sent someone to collect this order 2 hours after DPD delivered it and the box was smashed, the contents leaked everywhere.

Customer service was polite and responded quickly, but the outcome was hugely disappointing. As a first-time customer, losing an entire order with no meaningful resolution has left me with little confidence in ordering again and I have subsequently cancelled.

The service was good. No complaints there. I found the chicken in tarragon a nice flavour but some chewy chicken. Same with the Beef Bourguignon. I’m afraid the flavours of the others were just a bit strong for me. Why can’t you do just Beef casserole , why French. A few more British meals would go down well. Just my opinion of course.

Great company. Sorted out my problem and keep me up to date all the time.

Delivered promptly on date requested. The meals are always very good , never disappointed with the quality of the meals.

Very easy to order and delivery was as stated. Love By Ruby as so handy to cook straight from the freezer. Our favourite is the chicken and leek pie. Delicious!

Good food, flavour etc. Enjoyed all we had and will certainly be ordering again in the future. The only disappointment was the lack of fish in the fish pie.

Really nutritious tasty meals. Good value. Great customer communication with reminders for upcoming orders and easy to update when needed.

Can I just say.
Your ready meals are the best I have EVER tried. My husband is also the fussiest eaten known to man and he loves them.
We really look forward to sitting down of an evening to eat together. You can jump in the shower whilst it’s cooking or do a few little jobs it’s just perfect for us.
There hasn’t been a single dish we haven’t liked. We love them so much, I ordered some for my mother on Friday last week to try!

The ONLY downside but I feel I must must say this. The plastic film on the top of the meals doesn’t lift off easily. I know it says on the back to use a sharp knife, then to pop it back down, but I always worry that I am microwaving the plastic in my food. A large pull tab at the corner so the film lifts off with ease would be so much better, as I’ll be honest I have burnt a few fingers in the process over the last couple of months trying to remove the film to stir! But this absolutely does not stop me from ordering as we love them so much.

Also, we would love for you to introduce another couple of meals for regulars like us who eat them frequently. Some more winter warmers for the coming months would be lovely.

Our favourite meal is the Thai red prawn curry and the coq au vin. But they ALL taste amazing.

The only dish we are yet to try is the fish pie but that is on the menu for this week!
