Very disappointing experience.
On 29 August 2026 at 13:45, travelling from Marseille Saint-Charles to Toulon-Gare Routière (bus number 51019).
Before the trip, we were robbed by a member of the bus staff : he asked us to pay an additional €10 for extra luggage and he insisted that the payment had to be made in cash only. And when we tried to check the luggage policy, he pressured us by saying that he was responsible for the bus and that the charge was not shown online. We felt obliged to pay him.
I waited for him to provide a receipt or some form of justification for this additional charge. Instead, he told me that the receipt would be sent to me by email. I have not received any receipt, and I believe that this statement was misleading.
This situation made us feel cheated and very uncomfortable.
I hope BlaBlaCar Bus investigates this incident and clarifies whether this €10 charge was legitimate.

I booked bus tickets from Mulhouse to Zurich Airport, the bus arrived 30 mins late. The trip was supposed to take 2 hours, but the driver stopped at a bakery for 10 mins, then 20 mins later he stopped again at a McDonalds for 25 mins!
We finally arrived 3 hours later.
In total the bus was 1.5 hrs late, we only just made our flight.
The bus itself was great. But the lack of punctuality was unprofessional.

On a BlaBlaCar bus, one of my personal items dropped during a small bump and fell into a gap near what I believe was the WC panel by the door. I could see exactly where it was and asked the driver to help get it out, but after he saw it, he said no one could access that spot. Obviously I wasn't going to start taking the bus apart myself, so I didn't make a scene and just let it go for the day, thinking I'd contact customer service later with a solution and ask for their help.
After some research, I found small pickup tools that can get it out without any damage or effort. So I contacted support, explained the situation clearly, and asked for their help in retrieving the item or letting me briefly board the bus myself to retrieve it, at no cost or hassle to them, and I even offered to grab any other stuck items I'd seen in that same spot in case they belonged to someone else.
Instead of addressing that, I got the same copy-paste reply three times in a row, treating this as a "forgotten item" case and telling me they don't offer compensation for those even though I never asked for compensation. Every time I clarified, I got the same unrelated template back. Never once did anyone actually engage with what I was asking.
Finally after I made it clear, repeatedly, that this wasn't a forgotten item covered by their liability terms, but a case of their partner simply not being able (or willing) to retrieve something whose exact location was known. Their final answer was that they could offer nothing more in this case, but would "share my feedback with the team." I genuinely hope they follow through, and if anyone from BlaBlaCar reads this, I'd welcome an actual update here rather than another form reply.

The BlaBlaCar app is still missing many features that would seem logical given the purpose of the service. The user experience could be much better with more options, improved ergonomics, and tools that genuinely make it easier to search for, organize, and manage trips. The concept behind the service is excellent, but the app does not yet seem to live up to its full potential.

I wrote several feedbacks some time ago due to suspension of my account and inability to recover the access.
Now, I would like to thank the BlaBlaSupport team in general, and the Customer Service representative Mariia for her assistance and positive resolution of my case. Mariia, you are doing a fantastic job and restoring faith in mankind!
Good luck to you!

Dear Management of BlaBlaCar,
It has come to my attention—much to my infinite amusement and subsequent aristocratic disgust—that your esteemed establishment hides its corporate greed behind the quaint, socialist veil of a "community spirit." You lecture gentlemen drivers about altruism while capping our seat prices, all under the guise of preventing profit.
Pray tell, how does one maintain a luxury conveyance across a thousand-kilometre voyage to the Czech Republic—incurring over 240 euros in fuel, tolls, and maintenance—when your arbitrary price ceiling barely affords a squire a crust of bread? Yet, you partner with commercial carriers like FlixBus, skimming healthy booking fees and pocketing profits quite comfortably from our digital parlors. It appears corporate enterprise is noble for thee, but a sin for the driver who actually bears the machinery, the risk, and the road.
Must we purchase a public omnibus to satisfy your absurd double standards? Regrettably, your philanthropic facade is as transparent as cheap glass.
Update, answer on Blabla reply today, August the 15th:
How delightfully predictable. When true gentlemen seek assistance through official channels regarding the harsh realities of your platform, your offices maintain the deafening silence of an abandoned crypt. Yet, the moment a spot of public candor tarnishes your pristine digital facade, your machinery whirs into frantic motion, begging for private correspondence like a startled footman caught sleeping on duty.
Spare me your automated platitudes about "accessible rides" and "offsetting costs". Wolves draped in the fleece of philanthropic lambs do not become gentle creatures simply because they hire copywriters to issue corporate poetry on Trustpilot. If your algorithms wish to converse with me further, they may do so right here in the public square, where the sun exposes the true nature of your enterprise.
Until then, save your template apologies for someone easily impressed by corporate theater.

I would put a zero if i could. We organised a trip from Paris to Lourdes 4 months ago. We should leave Paris Friday and reach Lourdes Saturday around 11 and the way back Sunday afternoon to reach Paris Monday around 7. They decided to change the trip and we reached Lourdes at 23.55 on saturday instead of 11 a.m and they also change the way back to Sunday at 5 in the morning which left us with only some hours in Lourdes. I ended up paying 150€ more since they were no more proposing any trip during the hours we needed !!! Never again blablacar !

Well for 2 days in a row the drivers didn’t show up. This created me big troubles. There should be a system to verify id the driver is on time, showing up etc as the passenger is relying on it. My advice is call the driver as soon as u can and if it doesn’t respond beforehand and u are checking he is coming on time etc don’t rely on it, it created a lot of stress for me, u cant even track if the driver is coming. Pretty shit service i suggest avoiding it

And the lady on desk said she dont have any information about this but , and she told us many ppl are complaining and searching for this bus
Not only us many ppl was stuck there waiting for the bla bla bus around 3 families . This is unacceptable we stucked in chamonix with an infant . A financial nightmare and non-existent customer support. Check your bank accounts!
I have had two consecutive awful experiences with BlaBlaCar, and they are currently withholding my money for refunds I am legally owed. The first incident happened on July 14th. I booked a ride and cancelled it 3 days in advance. According to their policy, I should have been refunded. The second incident was on July 31st. The driver simply did not show up. He called me 20 minutes late to say he had packed too much luggage and had no room for me. However, on the app, he lied and reported that "we couldn't find each other." For both rides, BlaBlaCar took about 20% upfront fee.
The refunds never arrived. To make matters worse, the app falsely claims that I have been refunded. If I hadn't double-checked my bank statement, I would have been completely misled by their system.
When you try to resolve an issue, the app forces you to an external website where you cannot log in. When I tried to create a new account, it told me my email was already in use. It feels like a trap: the app works perfectly fine when they want to take your money, but the moment there is a problem, it becomes an absolute nightmare.
There is no visible support contact link anywhere. Their misleading help links just loop you back to the main help page instead of a contact form. The system is so intentionally hidden that you literally have to ask a search engine or an AI just to find the hidden direct contact page and manually type it into your browser.
I have finally sent a message, but my expectations are extremely low.
If BlaBlaCar does not return my money immediately, I will be filing a chargeback dispute directly with my bank. Avoid this platform if you value your money and your sanity.

The experience was terrible. The bus was delayed by 135 minutes (2 hours and 15 minutes).
Because traffic in Geneva was disrupted by the Tour de France and several streets were closed, the driver had to take an alternative route to leave the city. However, he didn't know the way, hadn't planned ahead, and had no one assisting him. Instead, he drove around aimlessly, stopping to ask people on the street and even the passengers for directions.
Absolutely disgraceful!
