They making mistakes on mistakes, but it's the fould of the client. You pay the agreed fee, and they cancel your insurance 😒. Incompetent! They always blame the other. Be very careful! It's a big mafia!

Customer support is a joke, I asked a simple, specific question and it took five rounds of communication with a response time of between a week and a month to get any information out of them. Most representatives don't even bother to read the question, answering something completely irrelevant, e.g. regarding an unrelated product (e.g. 3rd pillar vs. death insurance).

zero customer service, and zero help when it comes to paying back all the money you invested in the insurance after years of being with them when you are in an accident. Rather look for another insurance. Baloise are only good at taking your money, trust me on this. I was a client with them for 10 years.

Unfortunately, my experience with Baloise regarding my car insurance was disappointing. There was a discrepancy of around CHF 100.00 between the original quote and the actual annual bill. When I inquired, Baloise claimed the issue was due to a mismatch between the car model I selected during the quote and the official model registered by the government.

However, they were unable to provide any concrete evidence to support this explanation. I followed up by requesting clarification and a breakdown of the difference via email, but never received a response.

Overall, the lack of transparency and communication reflects very poor customer service.

Baloise is just about making more money from you, no compromise or understanding. I would not recommend.

I had my car insurance with Baloise Direct. After one year without damage they raised the policy 21%. After contacting them they claimed that the inflation was high and they had more damages than expected.
Really unprofessional - they are luring you into a contract with them and then they raise the premium knowing that many people don't even see it.

En plus, ils ne répondent pas aux emails, car ces messieurs ont trop de déclarations d'impots a remplir pour les gens, donc email envoyé en mars, et ils nous répondent, on vous repondra d'ici la fin de l'année. Et ensuite ils nous raccrochent au nez.

Got a travel insurance with them and I provided all certificates of illnesses and proofs that they required. After several discussions, they refunded the initial amount.

Be careful with the "advisory services" about III pillar products. We received a phone call from Baloise as we have a third pillar product there. They wanted to meet with us to discuss about next steps. We met 2 employees from the company. They wanted to sell investments products for the III/II Pillar. We got plenty of inaccurate and wrong information. Before accepting the proposal, get the advice of a bank or a consultant in pension schemes to avoid wrong actions. I would qualify this organisation as unprofessional, not trustworthy and incompetent.

I signed up in 2018 to lots of insurance contracts with Baloise and made it 100% clear I did not want long contracts.
During the stress and confusion of moving to a new canton in 2021, I did nto notice that they switched all my contracts to 5 years!!
I sold one car so I could escape their incredibly expensive contract, and now I plan to sell the second car to escape that contract too!
My feeling is that thet deliberately trick foreigners who don't understand the system, but once I move all my contracts away from Baloise, I will never go back again.

Basler Versicherung is wonderful at advising you what sort of insurance you need, but when it comes to paying for water damage, they seemly do their best to find a way around of not paying a thing. We had water damage in our basement area in November 2023 last year due to a Nussbaum water softener that silently and invisibly dripped water drip by drip into our flooring and was absorbed into the heating insulating materials under the floor. At some point in time the saturation of the insulating materials was complete and the water made itself visible on the floor. By that time our walls were all damaged. The damage means we need to have the walls repainted and one wall repapered. When will this saga end? it seems that Basler is saying I am not insured? It was Basler that proposed the insurance that I have. So what sort of company are they?

Please avoid this dishonest company. You think you are insured but you are not. When the problem arrives you will realise that you have no cover. It is a fraudulent company. You pay for road assistance but you have nothing because their telephone service is not functionning. Only a pretension, nothing more than that.

I have just received an incredibly disrespectful e-mail from the "highest authority" in their customer satisfaction & complaint management services. Despite everything being settled, the representative -completely unnecessarily- accused me of being "unable to accept the facts", which is completely unprofessional and rude! Thus, I have no option but to give honest feedback about this horrible experience. If you want to be treated with respect, do not choose this company at all.

We are clients of Baloise and recently we lost our house keys. We called them to ask for advise what to do. They told us that we are covered and we should change the locker. We did it and it costs us 1500 CHF. We sent invoice to Baloise and they declined it saying we are not covered for this. Crazy!!! Such a liars!

Impossible to get a personalized reply to anything. I have been trying to clarify a claim with them for over 2 weeks. Unfortunately, the only communication is generic letters by post requesting information that has already been provided multiple times.
If you try to call customer service you are on hold for 30minutes then disconnected as they have to free up the line. I have tried at all times of day and night.
If you send an email you get no reply, never. If you contact them on their customer portal, no reply ever.

Baloise is not there for their customers and it is impossible to get a reply.
Never ever do business with them. Avoid them at all costs.

Horrible sales dpt, they changed my polis price and conditions WITHOUT telling and explaing anything to me about it, zero ethics, when I wrote a complaint they just sent a generic reply, they did not take responsability for the mistake and arrogant behaviour of their sales guy. Now in 2023 I am stuck, or I have to take a lawyet… but next year I am out of there. Dishonest company, zero work ethics, zero professionality and zero knowledge of the products they sell at the sales dpt. A ripp off. RUN!

Excellent service, patient, clear and very personalized service. Really was a pleasure dealing directly with the agent. New policy was completed in record time and all very smooth.
