We had a great experience from start to finish. All the staff we encountered were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We were left to browse the cars at our own pace without feeling followed or pressured, which made the whole experience much more relaxed.

The buying process was smooth, simple and straightforward. There was the usual sales pitch for the extras, but as soon as we said we weren’t interested, there was no pressure at all—they simply moved on, which we really appreciated. Overall, an easy, stress-free experience and we’d happily recommend them.

Contacted Carlingo initially through there messaging feature. This was pretty quick and soon put me in touch with Josh. Josh then sent a video through showing me around the vehicle as well as inside. It was in great condition and really well priced.

Josh made it very clear how to go ahead with the purchase and this was sorted in a few hours including scheduling delivery to my house for the following week.

Delivery was organised and car was delivered on a trailer and was exactly as sold. In fact in was in way better condition than I thought. Handover was easy with all the documents and keys accounted for.

I would absolutely purchase from them again.

My first contact with Carlingo was over the phone after finding a car I was looking for. The sales adviser Josh was helpful but I didn’t feel he was going out of his way to help me. He promised me a video of the car which I had to chase and in the video there was a chip in the bonnet which he said they could improve. O showed genuine interest in the car but it wasn’t until I called back and spoke to and different sales advisor that I managed to secure the car pending me seeing it. I took a five hour train journey and short taxi ride to Carlingo. Great set up and really impressive, admittedly I arrived mid afternoon on a Friday but as far as I was concerned it should have been no different than any other day of the week. I met with Josh who was polite enough and offered me a coffee and a sit down after my long journey. I had a look at the car and it was a cracker, extremely good condition, low mileage and was exactly as I had seen on Autotrader. Disappointingly though the chip in the bonnet had not been done, not Josh’s fault as he advised me it had been ticked as done, this therefore had to be done while I was there and therefore was never going to be done with to the same standard in such a short space of time. After a quick test drive I decided to buy the car and was handed over to the handover team to do the paperwork. Josh took himself off and sat with his colleagues. It felt very impersonal and like I was just another customer in a long line. Steve from the handover team, really nice guy, took the time to get to know me, as best as you can in a very short time. Charming Yorkshireman and clearly loves his job and the company he works for. Was complimentary of his boss. He took time to show me round the car and made sure I was happy with the controls before my six hour drive home. Due to my initial experience when trying to speak to someone about the car and then to secure it I don’t feel I can give five stars. Would I go back again, yes I would due to Steve and what is clearly a quality outfit who have some great cars.

Everything was easy and quick. Danny was a pleasure to be around, explaining everything well. I would 100% buy a car from here again. They also have good warranty and extras too. Brilliant service, quick and reliable. All the staff were great.

Good service all around

All the sales stuff were professional and answer all my questions. Helped me on the day I got my car. Make sure I knew how everything worked. And showed me how some of the things worked on the screens etc.

Everyone my husband and I dealt with during the purchase of our new car was incredibly friendly, helpful and professional, and that is the main reason for my rating. The process was easy and smooth, and we are very pleased with the car which we feel was a fair price.

There were two things I was less happy with: one, we were asked to pay the full balance in advance of seeing or test driving the car; I felt uncomfortable with this and don’t think it was necessary given that I could have done an instant bank transfer at the time of collection; and two, the car was still registered to the previous owner in the Mercedes system, and it turns out I will need to visit our local main dealer once my V5 document comes through to get the system switched over to me so that I can use all the functions of the car and the Mercedes app - however I appreciate that as an independent dealer there probably isn’t a lot Carlingo can do about this.

From browsing to buying to the handover of my new car everything was amazing service everything explained in lots of detail staff all polite and welcoming price was as expected I'm really happy with my first car after passing they made me feel at ease no pressure what so ever I really recommend if you want to feel as part of a friendly family like environment 10/10 for service I will deffo be returning in the future.

I was recently put in a position where I had to get a car very quickly. The experience with Carlingo was excellent. Luckily they had 2 cars which fitted my requirements. The car I'd chosen to look at didn't click with me so I asked to look at the 2nd one which did. Daniel Elwood was so lovely and helpful and there was no sales pressure at all. He and a colleague helped to arrange my finance deal for which I am very grateful. Joseph Mcgrath dealt with me for the final paper work and was also lovely and helpful. I would have preferred to been able to have more time in getting a car but this was an extremely reassuring experience in a very stressful situation for me. Totally recommended!

good service and the cars available were all of a high standard. Sales rep was helpful and chatty without being pushy or overbearing. Gave us plenty of time to discuss options and consider.

Only issue is we were told new wipers would be fitted to the car ahead of collection (were obviously worn out on test drive) but this hadn't happened when we went to colelct
