Phoned & paid on a Friday, the next Tuesday survey done & reported back to us.
Very detailed information with photos to help. Covered far more then we were expecting. Sam Harris phoned the day before & texted confirmation, then phoned the same morning, then a final text to say it was complete and report would be with us the next day. 7.59 m texted to say he had emailed the report. After reading we phoned to speak with Sam to discuss a few things, his explanation was very helpful. He advised if we need anything else during the whole sale we can contact him directly.

10/10 Would Recommend Any Day
I had the pleasure of having Lucy Fuller complete the level 2 RICs survey on my first home and I have been so happy and impressed with the service I have received. The company came recommended by my estate agent and I had also received 3 other quotes I had obtained myself.
I had a Level 2 RICs survey carried out on a 1930's maisonette in the South West and Lucy has been fantastic throughout the whole process. CamSure were definitely not the cheapest quote I received, but the professionalism of everyone I spoke to throughout the process, and the detail of the report I have received, was worth the extra £60 on top of the cheapest quote.
Lucy was able to fit me in within 2 weeks, called me the day before to just talk through the process and what she would be looking out for as well as giving me a bit of reassurance, and then the day of my appointment she called me in the afternoon to give me a brief heads up on anything (luckily no areas of major concern yay!) and then she got the report to me exactly when she said she would.. The next working day.
I would highly recommend CamSure to anyone looking to have a survey done on a home they are purchasing. They are so worth the money and their surveyors are a pleasure to deal with!

Excellent service all round from Camsure
Stephanie was great. Very thorough and explained any defects she found clearly and well.
She was also very understanding and accommodating when we found ourselves in a difficult position due to a family circumstance.
Camsure price themselves competitively and are efficient at dealing with requests for appointments and updates.

The customer contact was excellent
The customer contact was excellent, keeping me informed and checking all was ok. Once I booked the valuation, I got a reminder the day before, and confirmation it had been completed (I wasn't there in person, my brother in law was), and the report was with me within 3 days. I'd recommend this company for house valuations (mine was for probate purposes so required a RICS qualified person to undertake the valuation).
Service by email and phone was great. The report was professional and accurate.

Property Red Book Vaulation - For Probate/IHT
Initial contact was positive but on receiving Terms of Engagement the RICS standard referenced was out of date by 4 years (2022 version). This took 3 days to rectify after chasing - waiting for senior surveyor! Report a little sparse and thought at Property to be Valued (B4) could have included the garage, communal garden, Council Tax band, EPC rating and lease length in the description. No floor plan was included although one was provided electronically and the surveyor also photographed the floor plan during the visit so it could have been included (she said it would be useful but would do her own). Basis of Valuation (B5) referenced 2022 standard (PS3.2) but B12 Valuation Standard references the 2025 standard. This gives an impression of cut and paste. A flood risk summary and geological survey information (copy given to surveyor) was made available but not referenced. Only environmental reference was in B8 Assumptions with a caveat that the property is unaffected by mining, flooding, adverse ground, radon or anything else. Report was not delivered when suggested but only after chasing. To be fair to this company I did disclose that I have a construction background (I'm a retired Chartered Civil Engineer) on first contact. I think the value provided is at the upper end but it is the Surveyor's professional opinion so it will be interesting to see how much this sales for.

We acknowledge your comments regarding the Terms of Engagement. Whilst an outdated reference was inadvertently included within the document, this did not affect the scope of the instruction, the service provided, or the validity of the valuation itself. Nevertheless, the document should have been updated more promptly, and we appreciate your patience whilst the amendment was being made.
We also note your observations regarding the content and presentation of the valuation report, including the level of detail provided within the property description and the references to differing editions of the RICS Valuation Standards. Feedback of this nature is valuable and will be considered as part of our ongoing quality assurance procedures.
In relation to the floor plan, this was reviewed by the surveyor as part of the valuation process and formed part of the information considered when assessing the property. However, the inclusion of a floor plan within a Red Book Valuation Report is not a requirement and it is not our standard practice to reproduce floor plans within the final document.
As a Red Book valuation, the report was prepared for a specific valuation purpose and in accordance with the agreed scope of service. The valuation opinion reflects the surveyor's consideration of all relevant information available at the time of the assessment. However, the report itself is intended to present the valuation conclusion and supporting rationale, rather than provide a comprehensive record of every document, search result or source of information reviewed during the valuation process.

Excellent service from Camsure from start to finish.
What really stood out was the level of communication and customer care. They called me the day before the survey to explain what to expect, then called again on the day to talk me through the findings, which was incredibly helpful.
I was also told that I could contact the surveyor afterwards if I had any further questions. I did exactly that, emailing Amanda with an additional query after reading the report, and she was only too happy to help. She replied promptly, explained everything clearly, and gave me practical advice that was extremely useful when discussing matters with my solicitor.
Buying a home can be stressful, but having a surveyor who takes the time to explain things and is happy to answer follow-up questions made a real difference. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Camsure.

What a super Surveyor we had!
Camsure came recommended via the GoTo Group and what a superb company! Would highly recommend and I would use them again.
My actual Surveyor Lee was great too. He rang in the morning to say what time he'd be at the property and that he would ring later in the day with an overview, which I think is amazing.
The report was detailed and in depth, loads of helpful photo evidence, and was really great that he explained the report ahead of sending, so it made sense and was clear.

Amazing people, amazing service. We were on a very tight deadline to get a house surveyed and the co-ordinator, Sarah, was incredibly helpful and understanding, making note of our deadline and working in the survey much earlier than initially scheduled. The survey itself was carried out quickly, professionally, and thoroughly, with the surveyor Harry calling us after it was done to discuss the initial findings, and answering any questions we had. He went above and beyond to get the full report back to us quickly. We're incredibly grateful to them both for going this extra mile for us, given our circumstances, when they would have been perfectly within their rights to do the work at the pace they advertise.
