Another set of crooks to avoid here. Insurance auto renewed with some well hidden tiny sentence buried deep in the jargon that comes with everything nowadays. My wife called on the day of renewal to cancel but they had already taken the full amount. They refunded the premium, but took a scandalous £20 for the privilege. Never again will these crooks be entertained to provide any kind of service.

Hello. Thanks for letting us know about this and we’re sorry you’re unhappy that your policy has automatically renewed. The law says any car on the road must be insured. To be certain our customers stay insured on their renewal date, we automatically renew their policies – that’s unless customers tell us not to renew. You can read about automatic renewal in your terms and conditions – you’ll also find it mentioned in your renewal documents, along with the steps you can take to stop automatically renewing.
The £20 non-refundable arrangement fee covers our various business costs, including customer service, maintaining systems, updating databases and sending documents. We make our fees clear before you buy a policy from us, and they’re stated in our terms and conditions. We apologise if you weren't aware of this. If you need any further help, please visit www.hastingsdirect.com/help. Thanks again ~ Jodie, Customer Care
Vibration through steering wheel when I set off for London. No vibration beforehand. Unsure if this may be due to previous uneven rubber bedding in, but it certainly didn't make for a pleasant journey.
Another that would give zero stars, if there was the option. Deposited the amount for the bonus. Got no bonus. Got on live chat, got connected after a very long time, only to be greeted by a right snobby trout. First told me I'd not deposited correct amount. Sent image of the offer, So she changed her story and told me that offer wasn't for this site, yet she couldn't explain why the link had taken me there. I closed my account straight away. Charged for the deposit, charged 4 times as much for the withdrawal. Utter scumbags. Go with the majority of the reviews I say. The positives must be on laughing gas... So just to reiterate, SCUMBAGS! Can't wait to read of the company's closure!!!
I ordered a shiny silver Britool Expert 4mm Allen key as pictured on their website, to replace one lost from a set. I received a dull dark metal key, the same you get from IKEA when you buy cheap furniture. They were very sorry when I told them about their mistake and ensured me they would send the correct key out. The replacement arrived and now I have 2 cheap nasty IKEA allen keys. Keep the money, I tell them. I'll go to a proper firm that know how to pick a single item off a shelf. The only thing they did right, was listen to me and not bother contacting me again!! Incompetent buffoons!

Hi Simon,
Thank you for your review, I am sorry to hear that you have experienced issues with your recent order placed at FFX, I would like to investigate this further for you and will be in contact with you tomorrow so we can discuss this further.
I wish I had taken notice of the 2500 bad and poor reviews that were on this site. Avoid buying from this company... Avoid it like the plague. I ordered 2 x 275/35/19 XL tyres. The tyres sent were not XL. I bought the fronts from Oponeo. A proper firm I have used before and who have never let me down, but sadly these were not in stock. So the TyreLeader story... First of all only 1 tyre came... not an XL, extra load. The budget couriers they use delivered the 2nd the next day but this also was incorrect.
Now the nightmare begins... No phone number, just an online form with a specific criteria to follow and you are warned that not following the criteria to the letter will result in them basically ignoring your issue. You get the same result at the end even if they don't ignore your issue. I got some broken English waffle about the tyres being sent are the one's I ordered. I sent photographic evidence of the tyres not being correct, with pictures of the same brand tyre markings of tyres that are correct. I did mention Oponeo in my message and this being their competition they obviously got upset and said I could either put up with the rubbish they had sent or I could return them at a cost of £25 per tyre which they would automatically knock off my 'full refund'. Or better still, I could arrange my own courier and send them over... BUT BE WARNED, I was told... If they don't think the tyres are in the same condition as they were sent, there would be no refund, so I'd be down the cost of the tyres AND shipping costs. So basically I've paid for tyres that are not up to the job and I'm stuck with them. Life is full of lessons and this is one of mine. Please learn from me and if you have the misfortune to land on the TyreLeader website... head for the big X in the top right of your screen!!!!
Finally to the wonderful crooks at TyreLeader... Lets hope Karma works quickly!!!
