FILTHY APARTMENT IN PARIS

I have no intention of editing the review. VRBO was well aware of the problems of that particular rental, as I had sent them, along with the negative review, photos of all the detailed points of the complaint. After I received a partial refund, I never heard from them again.

VRBO filthy Paris left bank apartment rental for 16 nights

Rented an apartment in Paris listed under VRBO "Premier Host" meaning a vetted owner. Apartment was filthy with some appliances so old and dirty, some not working, mold in linen closet and walking shower.
Tried to contact VRBO the next day of our arrival but VRBO representative pretended not to find our reservation !
Wrote a negative review. VRBO contacted us to say the owner would refund part of our rental if we took the review off the site. How ethical is that ?
We left the review for 2 weeks and decided to accept a third of the rental price refunded to us.

For the first time the driver complained about the tip ! He was pretty nasty. I never ran into that before....
