We couldn’t lock our front door which is a nightmare for us as one of our dogs can open the door and let out the other dogs. I phoned Owen and he arrived so quickly and resolved the issue immediately which was a great relief to us. Very friendly and professional, I would totally recommend.

The worst insurance company I have ever dealt with, do not under any circumstances insure your pet with them. After submitting my claim it took months to hear from them. Eventually when I did they insisted that as I had put Mongrel on the policy and not Lurcher (which by definition is just a name for a cross breed ie mongrel and which I verified with my vet) I had to pay an excess of £50 to update my policy or they wouldn’t pay the claim. They wouldn’t budge so I had to pay. A month later they paid - only £20 of the expected £170. Their explanation - the injury happened on a Saturday which meant an emergency cost from the vet, Perfect Pet said they wouldn’t cover this as they didn’t consider it was any emergency ie they expected me to let my dog go the whole weekend with a large open cut which needed cleaning, stapling and dressing without seeing the vet. How they came to this conclusion still dumbfounds me, even my vet was flabbergasted. Secondly they wouldn’t pay for the collar he had to wear. So I had paid them £50 to update a policy which was already factually correct to receive a claim of £20. Don’t go near them.
