Edit: After a month of being ignored and gaslighted, and sending multiple formal legal letters, this review is what got a human to finally look at my case. This company is about as close to a scam operation as you can get while still being legal.


Placed an order 26 Sept. No delivery attempted. Have made all relevant formal requests for refund as is required by law, as of 26 October I am yet to get a satisfactory response.

As far as I am aware this company no longer has a customer service department, and will not lift a finger if they make a mistake. Talking to an human being is impossible. Avoid at all costs.

I'm not the most organised person, and after a few hectic months at work I didn't realise until I was already two days into my trip to the USA that I had completely forgotten to buy travel insurance! After a panicked few hours trying to find an insurance provider who would still cover me, True Traveller was the only one I could fine. Sure, there was a slightly higher rate (let's call it an idiot tax) but it was still very reasonable, and most importantly they trusted that I wasn't trying to scam them (which I can only assume is the the reason the other insurance companies won't insure anyone who's already left for their trip.
