Review of QDOS Accident Assistance

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

If I could leave 0 stars I would.

If I could leave 0 stars I would.
I accepted a third-party settlement offer through Qdos on 10 February. Since that date, I have been persistently chasing—at least once per week—for confirmation and receipt of the agreed payment. On every occasion, I have been reassured by the customer services team that the relevant department was “chasing the third party,” that my case had been marked as urgent, and that internal emails had been sent requesting updates.

This same response was repeated to me weekly from 10 February through to the week commencing 20 April.

During the Easter half term, I was escalated to a customer services manager who acknowledged my frustration and assured me that the matter would be escalated further and that I would be contacted directly. Despite this assurance, I have not received a single proactive communication from Qdos—no phone call, email, or letter. Every update has required me to initiate contact, despite having confirmed that you hold my correct contact details.

2 weeks ago, having lost confidence in their process, I contacted the third party directly. I was informed that payment for my loss of earnings had in fact been made to Qdos on 16 February—over two months ago.

This raises serious concerns. I have spent weeks being told that payment was still being chased, when in reality the funds had already been received. I have since been informed that the “chasing” noted on my file related to an outstanding balance for vehicle repairs—an issue entirely unrelated to my loss of earnings claim. It is completely unacceptable that this distinction was not identified or communicated at any stage, despite my repeated calls and your team’s supposed internal follow-ups.

Frankly, it is extremely concerning that I, as a customer with no internal access, was able to obtain accurate information within a single email, while your organisation failed to identify this over the course of more than two months of weekly contact. This points to a serious breakdown in internal communication and basic case handling.

I got an email on 30th April saying it was posted and give it 3-5 working days. It’s been longer than that. I’ve called 10 times throughout the day and have only been told that it will get chased. Unless the accounts team are full of roadrunners how hard is it to answer a question?

I logged a complaint and received no acknowledgement.

If you have an accident and want it handled message me I will guarantee I’ll do a better job than these frauds. The whole point of using places like this is to make it simpler, the minutes I’ve racked up chasing these lot may aswell just have done it myself.

Review of Handepay

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Anthony came in and explained in detail…

Anthony came in and explained in detail how handepay is the way forward.

Patiently listened to my concerns and answered all my questions.

I now have learned so much about how card terminals work and the other charges that are charged by other companies that are not highlighted in the beginning.

Anthony seemed more knowledgeable in how the process works than all the other salesman who approached me combined.
